"Alright, that's it for this lesson. Everyone, take a break. Next class, we'll have combat training. Please gather at Training Ground Two," the teacher announced, finishing the lesson.

Hiroshi was excited about the combat training; he couldn't sit still and wanted to move around.

"Combat training next! I can't wait! I wonder who my opponent will be," Harumiko said, smiling at Hiroshi.

Hiroshi smiled and shook his head. "Based on past practice, it'll probably be team sparring. And the teacher said we're going to Training Ground Two—a small forest."

"Yeah, he did say that. If it's combat training in the forest, it'll definitely be team sparring. I wonder how many people will be in each team," Harumiko said, nodding.

Hiroshi remembered past forest training sessions. He was always the first target because he was so weak, and he was always the first to be eliminated.

"Thinking back, I was always the first one eliminated. It was because I was weak. Now that I'm stronger, I won't let anyone target me first!" Hiroshi said, a slight smile forming on his lips.

Harumiko was happy to see Hiroshi's renewed confidence. He wasn't the same downtrodden Hiroshi who was bullied every day.

I remember everyone who eliminated me. I have a list in my head. This time, I'll make them pay. I'll let them experience what it's like to be eliminated first, Hiroshi thought, looking out the window.

There's a pattern: the weakest person is always the first target.

"Haha, let's do our best! I wonder who will win this time. I already have an idea, but I won't tell you!" Harumiko said, smiling, clearly confident Hiroshi would win.

"Don't worry, Harumiko. I won't disappoint you. And I'll make those who eliminated me pay. I really hope we can choose our own teams; that would be great!" Hiroshi said, smiling back at Harumiko.
