My Wife Turns Out to be an Empress of the Dynasty

Chapter 875: Wizard Clan Wizard Soldier

Gu Lan did not speak, but his intentions were clear. Under Gu Lan's gaze, An Ying took a deep breath and stepped forward to the edge of the formation. His fists clenched repeatedly, and a layer of blood light gradually enveloped his body. Before long, a gap was opened in the formation. Seeing this, An Ying finally retracted his aura.

"Young Master, please follow me," he said, stepping into the formation. Without hesitation, Gu Lan followed.

Soon, the two passed through layers of mist. What greeted Gu Lan's eyes made him widen them in astonishment. An endless expanse of palaces stretched before him, filled with an incredibly dense spiritual energy. Though shocked, Gu Lan quickly composed himself, suppressing the expression on his face.

"No wonder the Wizard Clan is one of the Upper Three Clans. Their strength is indeed formidable," Gu Lan couldn't help but remark. Just from the scene before him, it was clear that the Wizard Clan had no shortage of powerful experts.

An Ying, on the other hand, wore a bitter smile. The Wizard Clan's strength was undeniable, but now he had no way to turn back.

"Where are the wizard soldiers you mentioned?" Gu Lan asked. He wasn't interested in anything else; he just wanted to deal with the wizard soldiers as quickly as possible.

Under An Ying's guidance, they soon arrived outside a vast training ground. As soon as they stopped, Gu Lan sensed the auras of over a hundred people. His gaze sharpened, and his expression grew serious. There was no denying that these individuals were indeed powerful.

Gu Lan had initially planned to swiftly eliminate them, but after some consideration, he decided against it. If he caused a commotion, escaping would be difficult. Instead of that, it might be better to lend them a hand. His expression darkened, and a cold glint flashed in his eyes.

Noticing the look on Gu Lan's face, An Ying felt a pang of unease. Gu Lan's expression made him feel unsettled. Before An Ying could react, Gu Lan's hands began to gather a blood-red light. Under An Ying's watchful gaze, Gu Lan waved his hand, and the blood light shot forward. Gu Lan's movements were swift, and the wizard soldiers failed to detect it. The aura dissipated quickly, vanishing without a trace.

After completing this, Gu Lan smirked coldly and turned away. Seeing that Gu Lan was about to leave, An Ying was filled with confusion. Had they risked discovery just to take a look at these wizard soldiers?

As An Ying was still puzzled, Gu Lan spoke unhurriedly, "If they dare to make a move, I guarantee they will die." Gu Lan had no intention of dealing with them further, nor did he want to waste time. He was certain that if these targets came looking for trouble, they would meet their end.

However, when they were several hundred feet away, Gu Lan suddenly sensed something amiss. They had been hiding in the shadows; they shouldn't have been noticed. Yet, Gu Lan now felt as if he was being watched.

Gu Lan suddenly stopped, and An Ying looked at him in confusion. "Master Gu..."

Before An Ying could finish, Gu Lan's expression turned icy, and he summoned the Hongmeng Sword. "We have trouble. You go first!" Gu Lan's sudden words left An Ying stunned.

As soon as An Ying took a step forward, nearly a hundred figures appeared around them. "Since you've come, where do you think you're going?" A cold voice rang out, and a hunched figure clad in black robes stepped forward. The man exuded a sinister black aura, and with just one glance, Gu Lan's brows furrowed.

A cold light flashed in Gu Lan's eyes, and his aura surged forth. This person was clearly hostile, and there was no need for further words. Just as Gu Lan prepared to strike, An Ying stepped in front of him.

"Master Gu, be careful. This man is Guisha, skilled in various assassination techniques!" An Ying warned.

Gu Lan took note of the warning. The man before him was clearly no ordinary opponent. Gu Lan was ready to attack, but Guisha didn't even glance at him. Instead, his cold gaze locked onto An Ying.

"Bringing an outsider into the clan? You have quite the audacity," Guisha sneered.

"Enough with the nonsense. You're here to kill me, aren't you?" An Ying retorted. "If you want to fight, better hurry up. Otherwise, you might not get the chance."

An Ying wasn't about to let him have the last word. As he spoke, a surge of blood energy erupted from his body. "Master Gu, please lend me your strength."

He intended to deal with Guisha himself. As he spoke, Gu Lan calmly raised his hand. A stream of true energy gathered in his palm and flowed into An Ying's body. With this infusion of power, An Ying's aura skyrocketed.

Noticing the surge in An Ying's strength, Guisha's expression darkened. "Not bad. No wonder you dared to return. But today will be your burial day."

An Ying was now a traitor to the entire Wizard Clan. Killing him would not only be justified but could also earn Guisha a reward. "You were once the Young Lord's trusted aide, but not anymore," Guisha said coldly, his blood energy surging.

But Guisha wasn't foolish. Gu Lan gave off a dangerous aura, so before making his move, he ordered the hundred experts around him to attack. "Kill him!"

At his command, the hundred experts charged forward. They wisely ignored An Ying, instead surrounding Gu Lan. Their blood-colored blades trembled, and a hundred crimson slashes shot toward Gu Lan.

Seeing the incoming attacks, Gu Lan's expression turned grim. Just as they were about to strike, Gu Lan coldly raised his hand and unleashed a counterattack. Since these fools were so eager to die, he wouldn't hold back. He didn't take them seriously at all—thinking they could challenge him was pure delusion!

Before their blades could reach him, Gu Lan's sword slashed out. With a deafening roar, the forces closing in on Gu Lan were shattered. Seeing Gu Lan's overwhelming strength, Guisha couldn't help but frown. From the beginning, he had sensed that Gu Lan was extraordinary, but he hadn't expected him to be this terrifying.

"Just keep him occupied!" Guisha ordered. His target wasn't Gu Lan, so he had no intention of fighting to the death. He would let his men stall Gu Lan while he dealt with An Ying.

With that, Guisha didn't hesitate. He leaped forward, appearing in front of An Ying in an instant. His blood-colored blade slashed toward An Ying's face. Despite the terrifying power behind the strike, An Ying stood his ground, unmoving.

Just as the blade was about to strike, An Ying stepped forward and thrust his weapon, piercing Guisha's shoulder. The attack caught Guisha completely off guard, sending him flying back hundreds of feet.

Stabilizing himself, Guisha's expression turned extremely grim. "How is this possible? How have you become so strong?!"
