Chase ( wipes his glasses with the soft wipes beside his tea cup and places it back on his face ): don’t worry about it besides it was fun and nice reading through and helping Nate he seems stuck and dumb founded especially when you were trying to outsmart him in the contract percentage (gently turns to Nate puts his hands on his shoulder ) You really need to stop been a scaredy cat if you wanna survive in the business world ……(he stands up straighten his clothes properly )

Chase (laughs sparsely) : nah you wish (his gaze turns back to Alexis who just stood up and was walking back to her chair behind the desk he stares at her footsteps and how elegantly she carried herself he pushes his hair back sighs exasperatedly and walks forward as Nate starts walking out of the office pushing the door open he taps on her desk Alexis lifts her head furrows her brows he pushes the hair blocking her face and smiles ) Hey you wanna probably go grab Wanna grab lunch tomorrow And I mean real lunch—not one where we argue about legal terms or percentages or business deals

Alexis (stares at him for a solid minute mutters something under her breath) :Hmm what’s the occasion….

Alexis (waves her hand) :please I’m already exhausted arguing let me take an early day off you can send them to the main house I’m sleeping there tonight I will read through and when I’m coming in by morning will bring them in

Alexis (waves her hand ) :yeah yeah goodnight Gabrielle (smiles a little remembering when she and Gabrielle stayed in the same dormitory laughing and eating popcorn laughing and gossiping about random people where nobody cared about hierarchies and positions just two girls in one room close friends with one dream graduating from Coastline waters university one of the most prestigious universities in the continent she blew her a kiss and waved goodnight )

Alexis(walks down from the elevator to where she parked her car slides in shuts the door flings her bag to the passenger sit turns to the side stares at the Lilly flower for a minute starts her car and slowly drives out with her thoughts of what that evening holds for her she speedily drives to the cafe packed at the opposite side of the cafe removes her heels changes to a casual slide matching her dress she opens the door and walks in opening the door she could see Mei Parker as an opposite direction from the door she gently walks towards her as she waves trying to get her attention )Hey mei you okay (sits down beside her )

Mei ( lifts her head as she notices Alexis she quickly hold her hand and pulls her in for a hug) : Hey girl (she smiles ) how have you been I missed you ( letting her go )

Alexis (smiling letting her go ): I missed you too how has your travels and other stuffs been going I saw your Quista post a few days ago I’m so jealous of you

Mei ( she blushes bright red ) : you pulling my string (she laughs you can see her bright red cheeks smiling ) wanted to come in early cause I missed you guys and we rarely hung out

Alexis :same here I finished my meetings pretty early and your brother was bullying me with intense questions and bargaining issues such a cheap skate (hand on her chin as she signs )

Mei: yeah such a total cheapskate but atleast his business smart and his the next in line for the family business cause I don’t see myself handling such business like you and jasmine you guys are smart smart (she hears the door bell ring as she sees jasmine and crystal walking in together she smiles and whispers softly ) speak of the devil and she appears (beckoning at the door waving )

Alexis (gently stands up and waves to Jaden ): Hiii ladies (excitedly waits for them to come closer before she wraps Jaden and crystal in a big hug ) I miss you guys (smiling happily they all seperate after 2 mins of happiness hugs )

Jaden : You guys don’t be so dramatic (hugging them one by one ) I do miss you guys sorry I’m late had to go pick up crystal at her movie set she was getting up dolled up looking pretty (she laughs )

Crystal : Hey common I had to wipe out the makeups you guys wouldn’t want see me in sone scary opera makeup would you

Mei (scoffs ) : oh please have seen you with worst (they all sit down ) remember when she started learning makeup after her first public appearance at her family ball when she was 13 she looked so horrid I could remember we all fell on the floor laughing cause it was bad

Jaden(laughs): yeah but she’s getting better but won’t lie such hunted me in my dreams for days (laughing )

Alexis (chins in ) : I think I still have a picture of that makeup somewhere

Crystal(blushing bright red) : I’m never speaking to you guys ever again (dabs her eyes with a napkin )

Mei (hugs her ) :don’t cry you know we love you …(turns her direction to Jaden ) Hey business lady heard you started a new branch it’s so cool we so jealous of you you such a goal getter

Alexis : yeah I’m so happy for you achieving your dreams still can’t believe our random high school dreams and discussion is finally becoming a reality miss art collector plus interior decorator and bakery owner ….arghhh you so cool unlike me stuck in a boring office daily
