I stepped in front of Savorn and observed her for a moment. 

Even though the miasma cloud had disappeared, Savorn's condition hadn't improved. She looked completely lifeless. 

If that's the case, the cause of her state must be—this war itself. 

The sheer brutality of the battle had clearly scarred her emotionally. Her small, delicate appearance made me think so.
