Since he was the boss and he had invested quite a sum in the movie, it was only reasonable for him to visit the set.
He took a flight on Friday morning and arrived at the airport at noon. Without having a chance to grab lunch, he took a two-hour car ride to the shooting location straight away.
The shooting this time was divided into two stages: indoor and studio shots at the Film City, and outdoor shots. Once all the indoor shots were completed, the entire crew had to go to the mountain area for outdoor shooting, which was the tough part.
When Yu Sixing came, he didn’t inform anyone at the start, neither the director nor greeted Xue Feifei. He checked into a hotel first, then went straight to the shooting area. Just as he was passing by a team that had just finished their shoot, he heard a group of actors discussing, “Did you hear that? Teacher Huang seems to be quite close with the second female lead…”
