Chapter 140: Faceless
[Faceless]
[Physical Attributes]
> Approximate Strength: 1060 Metric Tons.
> Durability: As durable as a body made of Island Metal.
> Speed: 6757 km/h (4198 mph) at max.
> Resilience: Immune to almost all mortal poisons and ailments.
> Regeneration: You can passively heal major wounds like small cuts in mere seconds.
Physically, Faceless was weaker than Sett. Sett had 1639 strength and he could move faster than 10,000 kilometers per hour, whereas Faceless only had 1060 tons of strength and could only move at 6757 kilometers per hour. But, Faceless had a more durable physical body—being as durable as Island Metal.
Island Metal was a metal unique to Ehyut. It was said to contain the mass of an entire great island. And to destroy it, the power to obliterate an entire great island was required. In any way, the durability was much higher than diamond.
But this was not Faceless' true abilities.
Faceless true abilities were his racial traits and Axiom.
Sett's gaze moved to the next bar describing Faceless' abilities.
[External Life Paths]
[Tomb Slave: (Tier 3—Sacred)(Tomb Hearts: 9/9)]
—[Innate Life Paths]—
[Life Vessel: Egrith Ramses]
Sett ignored the Tomb Slave path. Most of his Tomb Slaves were in that external path, capable of growing stronger using Tomb Hearts. They were just Crypt Walkers—nothing else. Then, his gaze focused on the Innate Life Path: Life Vessel.
[Divine Information Unlocked]
[Life Vessels are extremely rare across the universe, usually found only among a secretive cosmic species known as the Identity Stealing Race. These vessels are deeply feared for their terrifying potential: anyone who wields a Life Vessel can completely steal another being's abilities, talents, and even destiny, effectively becoming that person. In other words, stealing their identity itself for oneself. But this Vessel only works once.
[The users of these things are also incredibly coveted. Because anyone who kills them can gain their Life Vessels for themselves.]
Sett became deeply intrigued.
I've never heard of such a race. Is this talking about worlds outside Ehyut? The ones seen in Otherworldly Tombs?
Then, he noticed something.
Is Faceless' ability to change its appearance and body shape not because of the Life Vessel core inside it?
Perhaps, that was a true racial trait of Faceless.
Sett shook his head and focused on what abilities Faceless' Life Vessel had.

[Life Vessel: Egrith Ramses]
[Axiom of Dimensions]
Dimensional Shift
Dimensional Barrier Breaker
Dimensional Hideout
Dimensional Perception
Dimensional Sharpness
True Form: Dimension Breaker.
Axiom Armament: Dimensional Necklace.
---
Sett analyzed each ability one by one.
With Dimensional Shift, Faceless can warp his body to instantly relocate to another position, effectively teleporting to avoid attacks or reposition himself in combat. He could move anywhere his eyes could see with a thought.
With Dimensional Barrier Breaker, Faceless could destroy barriers between dimensions. For example, he could leave a Tomb any time he wished. Breaking the Barrier between Tombs and the real world was easy for it.
Next was Dimensional Hideout. This ability was essentially a great ability to hide himself—it put him inside a closed off dimension around himself, removing his presence and everything.
It was all great.
Next was Dimensional Perception. It was a skill that gave Faceless the ability to sense his surroundings using the dimensions of space. Nothing—even Silver—could not hide from this perception.
And finally, there was Dimensional Sharpness. A skill that could give dimensional sharpness to all of Faceless' attacks. Not even Island metal Durability would save you from sharpness like that.
Sett couldn't help but be annoyed. Why was all the skills in this Axiom so good?
It was a deadly combination.
Movement, Escape, Concealment, Senses, and Attack.
It was perfect for an assassin.
Then there was that True Form. It gave all of that without much limitation. In the True Form, Faceless could teleport to any place he knew in his memory. He could imbue sharpness into anything.
It was deadly.
Just like that, analyzing all of it and refining the land around him—time passed. The sun went down, moon came up.
Zainah and Zarah left his Inner Tomb at some point and Sett had the monkey help prepare a camp for the night.
Tents were made. Bonfire was lit.
Zainah prepared good food. Zarah spoke non stop. Monkey listened, Faceless observed from the side. Little Peckington, Zarah's favorite mount, stood to her side.
Sett continued refining the lands.
At night, he stopped for a while to eat and then watched as everyone retreated into their own tents. Then, smiling, he pulled Zainah into a princess carry and walked into his own tent. She looked at him with a red, pouting face.
"You will embarrass me to death, Sett," she said with a soft voice. "They were all looking at me weird."
He threw her onto the soft bedding they had prepared.
He leaned down and slowly, their clothes vanished.
Whispers turned to kisses, kisses turned to giggles, giggles turned to yelping moans.
Zarah just continued watching the moon, leaning against her mount and enjoying the warmth of the bonfire. "You know peckington, I think life is good. I have good food, a good family, and I am learning new things every day. Here, you can have my chicken."
The bird ate the chicken with a peck.
"You know, one of these days, when we go back to Ehyut, I want to fly on your back. I want to become self independent. Heh, Big Bro would probably mock me if I said that to him." Zarah giggled. "Don't get me wrong, I love being coddled by big bro and big sis, but you know, I want to fly in the sky, laugh, fight monsters that barr my path. I want to be capable on my own."
The bird pecked her head.
Zarah giggled. "Right? We could have so much fun."
Yet, she was sure she did not want to be separated from her family.
Faceless, who had listened to the entire conversation from a small distance away, flashed and appeared beside them.
Zarah was nearly frightened to death.
"Dude, don't come close to me. You look like Egrith."
Faceless bowed slightly. "Miss, I was just wondering. I have all the memories of Egrith, and in my perception, Egrith has a rather handsome face."
"So?" Zarah looked weirdly at the guy.
Faceless had a genuinely concerned expression. "Why do you think Master looks at me so indifferently while he looks at Zainah and you so fondly?"
Zarah was gobsmacked, then—her eyes lit up.
Hahahahahha!!!
