Chapter 137: Becoming Incredibly strong
A few hours passed.
Zainah walked beside Sett, yawning. She had come out of his Inner Tomb at some point, and now, she was full of boredom. It was far too boring to just walk around Tomb after Tomb and watch Sett absorb it all.
"You've absorbed so many Tombs," she said listlessly. "Now can we go do something else?"
Zainah, on the other hand, just curiously looked at Sett.
Sett's golden eyes shifted to them.
"You have no patience, Zarah. But yeah, I am now done with all the C-tier Tombs."
With the last few hours, he had not only absorbed all the C-tier Tombs in Kemet, he had also refined a lot of the marked but unrefined Territory in the Kemet Tomb itself. Now, his total Tomb Size and Territory was completely different from what it had been previously.
Sett's gaze flickered to his system.
[Inner Tomb Size: 722 kilometers]
[Unrefined but Marked Territory: 135 kilometers]
His Tomb Size had gone from 162 kilometers to a whopping 722 kilometers.
Among the 9 C-tier Tombs he had absorbed in total, many of them had nearly a 100 kilometers of land in them. That had added up to quite the impressive amount.
He clenched his hand, feeling the immense strength hidden inside his body.
I am far stronger than the average Tier 3 Human Tomb Raider now.
When a human becomes Tier 3, they are usually just about 300 tons strong. By the time they become Tier 3 sacred, they would roughly have 450 tons at most.
And now, Sett's body was much, much stronger than that already. Each kilometer of land in his Territory was one ton worth of strength in his body. And now, he had 722 kilometers of land, that meant 722 tons worth of strength as well.
Then, there was his body's original strength as a Tomb Walker added to that.
18 tons plus 722.
740 Tons of strength.
SEVEN FORTY WHOPPING TONS!
AS A MERE TIER 2 TOMB WALKER!
Sett couldn't help but be excited.
LIMITLESS GOD BODY!
This was an absurdly powerful ability.
A skill so disbeieving, it made Sett feel surreal.
He still did not believe that all the power in his body was real. It was far too good to be true. With this much strength, what would even happen when he eats his first Tier 3 Tomb Heart?
That 10x boost would be more than just legendary.
But Sett was still not satisfied. He wanted to at least have a 1,000 tons of strength before he ate his first Tier 3 Tomb Heart.
Only then would he be truly satisfied!
But now, there was no longer any easy Tombs to conquer in Kemet. All of the D and C Tier Tombs had already been absorbed—only the B-tier Tomb remained.
Sett became contemplative.
Should he enter the B-tier Tomb, or should he not?
The reward was certainly great. A B-tier Tomb will surely have a minimum of 100 kilometers of territory, with a maximum of 1,000 kilometers. If he was lucky, he could get another massive boost in Territory if he conquered that Tomb.
But Sett was not an impulsive youth deluded by benefits.
First, he began thinking with a clear mind.
B-tier Tombs are not so easy, but with my current strength…
it's not really impossible.
For starters, he decided to sit down and refine the remaining Territory in the Kemet Tomb before anything else.
That made Zarah even more annoyed after a few minutes.
"BIG BRO…"
"What?" Sett asked in annoyance.
"Tell me a story about yourself!"
Sett blinked. "A story, huh?" His mind flashed through his memories, but then, he shook his head. "You tell me a story about yourself."
Zarah blinked, then nodded. "I have one story I can tell!"
Zainah was also curious. "Which story?"
"You remember sis? That one time I fell into that quicksand and sank down."
"Ah! When you were 9 years old…"
Sett was interested now.
"What happened?"
Zainah was the one to continue the story.
"When Zarah was nine years old, she and I went out of Burrhen City to a nearby oasis. It was the first time we saw such beautiful waters and such," Zainah said with a reminiscent expression. "But then, this crazy thing happened."
Sett listened in intrigue. "What crazy thing?"
"The river there was really reflective. It was like a mirror. And when we looked at the river, something happened. Zarah screamed in fear."
Zainah took a deep breath. "I didn't realize what had happened at that point, but when I asked Zarah, she said that her own reflection had moved. I did not believe her.
"Afterward, we both jumped into the river but right as Zarah entered, something pulled her feet into the water and tried to drown her to death."
Sett frowned. "It was most probably a ghost."
Zarah shivered.
Zainah continued: "Many people who were swimming at that point chased after Zarah underwater. But she was pulled into this underwater quicksand and saving her became nearly impossible."
Sett was amazed.
He ruffled the girl's head. "How dod you survive that, you crazy girl?"
Zarah proudly puffed her chest up.
Zainah shook her head. "A passing Axiom Holder used their ability and helped Zarah fly out."
Zarah nodded, still feeling terribly scared at the memory. Drowning was horrifying. Especially when something was pulling you into the water—it was horror itself.
Sett nodded, then said, "We should go to oasises once in a while. They are my favourite things in Ehyut."
"Oh, your Inner World already has an oasis." Zainah exclaimed. "It is gloomy and dark without any sunlight, but it is pretty nice."
Sett was reminded of the fact that his Inner Tomb did not have a day and night cycle or a sun. It was not a good place to live in. Not to mention the fact that living things could not survive inside without Faceless' help.
Just then, Roman and the Monkey walked into the scene with Sett's army.
Sett looked at them in curiosity.
"The armies we sent into the B-tier Tomb all died," Roman said with a frown. "Commander, this one is a tough bone to chew."
Sett smiled at the title.
"General, good work. Leave the rest to me."
Monkey frowned. "Me too. Me too. Commander, the B-tier Tomb is a tough bone to chew. The armies we send all died."
Sett's lips twitched.
In the end, he did not continue refining the land around him. Even if he continued to refine the lands of Kemet, he would not be able to move closer to the Cloud Door. The Lord Guardian was in that area and Sett was not confident of facing a Tier 5 combatant. Especially not someone with a reputation of being a cunning enemy.
In fact, Sett had not marked the entirety of the Kemet Tomb. He was far from that.
An A-tier Tomb was at the very least always 1,000 kilometers in size. That was the minimum size. The biggest A-tier Tombs could be 10,000 kilometers.
Sett had gained the ownership of this Territory by stealing from Egrith. But even Egrith was not the sole owner of Kemet. He had only marked 160-some kilometers of the Tomb.
I'd probably have to defeat the Lord Guardian to conquer this Tomb.
Sett took a deep breath.
Before that, he had to go into that B-tier Tomb. Usually, he would have to be very cautious. After all, once he entered a Tomb, it was hard to leave.
But with Faceless in his team now, he could leave a Tomb any time he wished. So, he decided to enter and check the B-tier Tomb himself.
First, he collected all his army and generals into his Inner Tomb. Then, he nodded at the girls and pulled them in as well.
Then, he called: "Faceless, let's move to the B-tier Tomb."
"On your command, master."
