"Mission?" Jiang Chen's eyebrows twitched.

"Your wish cannot be fulfilled. Please state your first wish again." Porunga's voice sounded once more, without further explanation.

The second elder immediately looked at Jiang Chen.

"Porunga, then transport Gine Oba San here and send my voice to her." Taking a deep breath, Jiang Chen didn't ask further. At this point, he vaguely understood the reason behind the situation, so he changed his wish directly.

"Understood!" As the second elder relayed his words, Porunga's eyes glowed red once more.

After a moment, a flash of light appeared, and Gine suddenly materialized before Jiang Chen.

"Aspara?"

"Is it really you?" Gine's face lit up with excitement.

"Gine Oba San!" Jiang Chen smiled upon seeing Gine.

"Aspara, Bardock!" Suddenly, Gine seemed to recall something. Her expression changed slightly, and she spoke urgently.

"Gine Oba San, it seems Bardock Oji San has a mission and cannot be transported here."

Jiang Chen gave a bitter smile and gently explained.

"Ah!" Gine's expression shifted with the realization.

Jiang Chen opened his mouth, then hesitated for a moment before speaking softly to the second elder.

"Second Elder, I want to know what Bardock's mission is." Although Jiang Chen had his suspicions, he asked out loud to confirm and to help Gine understand the situation more clearly.

"Alright." The second elder nodded and quickly relayed the words.

"Bardock, he is the creator of history. He will travel back thousands of years to shape the legends of history. Returning him is beyond the capabilities of this dragon." Porunga's voice echoed.

"Just as I thought!" Jiang Chen nodded slightly, fully confirming his suspicions.

"Thousands of years ago?" Upon hearing Porunga's words, Gine was stunned.

"Please state your third wish." Porunga's voice sounded again.

"I wish to gain the ability of Kaioshin or the teleportation ability from Planet Yardrat." Jiang Chen's expression shifted slightly as he spoke.

He had long planned this wish. Teleportation, being one of the most prominent abilities in Dragon Ball, was undoubtedly valuable.

"I'm sorry, but this wish cannot be granted. Kaioshin's power is not within the reach of this dragon. As for Planet Yardrat's teleportation, it is a divine technique and cannot be granted through this dragon's wishes. To obtain it, you must travel to Planet Yardrat or train on Kaioshin's planet." Porunga's voice responded.

Jiang Chen was stunned by this response. Teleportation could not be obtained through Shenron's wishes.

"Please state your third wish." Shenron's voice echoed once more.

Jiang Chen took a deep breath, forcing himself to calm his turbulent thoughts. He spoke again.

"Please allow me to transform into a Great Ape without losing my sanity."

This was one of his prepared wishes. Since he had not gained this ability on Planet Vegeta, he thought to use Shenron to help him.

The second elder quickly relayed the wish.

"This is quite simple."

"However, I will need to enhance your bloodline." Porunga's voice sounded again.

As Jiang Chen nodded, in the next moment, a red light instantly shot toward him. In an instant, Jiang Chen felt as if every cell in his body was on fire, while waves of powerful insights began to surge from within.

Sweat started to bead on his body. He had no idea how much time passed. Nor did he know how long the sensation lasted.

When the figure of Shenron-Porunga disappeared into the sky, transforming into falling streams of light and the dimness in the sky cleared away, Jiang Chen finally opened his eyes and a trace of surprise appeared in his pupils.

Unconsciously, he clenched his fist as power surged out from his body.

"Crack, crack, crack!" The joints made crisp sounds.

As if recalling something, Jiang Chen instinctively activated his scouter.

"Beep! Beep!" The scouter's readings quickly fluctuated. In just a moment, a new reading appeared in front of him.

"2700."

"2700, an increase of twelve hundred points?" Muttering to himself, Jiang Chen's expression became excited. He hadn't expected that simply gaining the ability to transform into a Great Ape without losing control would result in a boost of over a thousand Battle Power. 

Moreover, he had a sense that his body's potential had further increased. This twelve hundred points was definitely not the limit. If he continued to train, he felt he could squeeze out even more.

The enhancement of his bloodline seemed to have caused significant changes to his body.

Meanwhile, Gine, standing nearby, widened her eyes, her expression full of shock. Even though she didn't have a scouter, she could feel the immense aura emanating from Jiang Chen.

"Aspara!" Gine instinctively called out.

"Gine Oba San!" Hearing her voice, Jiang Chen snapped out of his daze, then smiled and spoke.

"This…"

Gine instinctively looked around and hesitated to speak.

"Gine Oba San, just wait a moment." Jiang Chen quickly spoke, then turned to thank the second elder.

The second elder smiled and nodded.

"Let's go. The Great Elder has arranged a place for you. Please follow me."

After thanking the second elder, Zeno stepped forward and addressed them.

"Thank you!" Jiang Chen nodded with a smile, then followed Zeno along with Gine to their designated residence on Namek.

On the way, Jiang Chen explained the entire situation to Gine. As she listened to Jiang Chen's recount, Gine's eyes widened in astonishment.

"Aspara, you mean you left long ago?" Gine instinctively asked.

"Yes, Gine Oba San, I was preparing for a mission earlier, but I discovered Namek along the way. I also learned that Frieza planned to destroy Planet Vegeta, so I decided to use the Dragon Balls on Namek to summon you and Bardock here," Jiang Chen nodded and quietly explained.

"That's really incredible," Gine said in awe.

"Gine Oba San, don't worry. The Dragon Balls will cool down in just one hundred eighty days. By then, I can summon Raditz too. Then, we can go find Kakarot."

Seemingly understanding Gine's concerns, Jiang Chen smiled and reassured her.

As for Raditz, Jiang Chen hadn't used that wish. He had avoided summoning him to prevent unnecessary trouble. Raditz had a scouter on him, and trying to remove the scouter and bring Raditz over would take at least two wishes. That would be too wasteful, so he decided to wait for another opportunity.

As for Kakarot, Jiang Chen didn't want to interfere with his growth trajectory. Even though it seemed like they were in the older version of Dragon Ball now, that was only an assumption. 

No one knew how things had changed. After all, Dragon Ball involved multiverse probabilities. If they altered the timeline too much, who knew what might happen— perhaps a Kaioshin from another dimension or a red-haired Trunks might show up, or a Super Saiyan 4 Son Goku could appear. It would be a huge mess.
