Multiverse Conquest Starting from Dragon Ball

Earth.

The Lookout.

In a flash of light, Jiang Chen appeared high above the clouds, standing on the sacred platform.

But he wasn't alone.

Several figures had already gathered there.

"Aspara!"

The others noticed his arrival and rushed toward him.

"What are you all doing here?" Jiang Chen asked, his gaze sweeping across the familiar faces, landing on Goku and the others.

"Aspara," Goku grinned, "Trunks is heading into the Hyperbolic Time Chamber for more training. We came to see him off."

Jiang Chen nodded lightly, then turned to look at Trunks.

Compared to before, Trunks now wore a more relaxed expression, the weight on his shoulders visibly lighter. Although the ones they'd lost couldn't be brought back, the restoration of Earth had brought him a deep sense of peace.

The group chatted for a while.

Eventually, Trunks entered the Hyperbolic Time Chamber, vanishing into its time-bending void to begin his training.

Goku and Vegeta stayed behind.

They had a request.

They wanted Jiang Chen's guidance.

He didn't refuse.

He began teaching them how to refine their Super Saiyan power, how to draw out its full potential with balance and precision.

At present, only Goku had nearly achieved mastery over the first stage of Super Saiyan. Vegeta was still struggling, barely reaching the second tier of the first form.

With Jiang Chen's mentorship, both were bound to progress steadily.

Time flowed quietly.

In the days that followed, Jiang Chen did not attempt to further combine forms beyond Super Saiyan 4.

For now, a two-thousandfold amplification was already his limit.

Attempting to stack further without full mastery would only destabilize everything.

Two months passed in the blink of an eye.

During that time, Vegeta, Goku, and even Trunks, who had emerged from the Hyperbolic Time Chamber, had trained intensively under Jiang Chen's watchful eye.

All three had made tremendous progress.

Trunks, in particular, had achieved complete mastery of Super Saiyan's first stage, a perfect form that radiated calm power.

His talent and growth were astonishing.

Then, on a seemingly ordinary day, 

BZZZT!

A sudden ripple tore through space.

Jiang Chen felt a strange shift in the air around him.

Floating mid-air as he demonstrated an energy control technique, he suddenly stopped.

"Aspara, what's wrong?" Goku paused too, his curiosity written all over his face.

Jiang Chen narrowed his eyes.

"A connection… to the Underworld has just been established."

He turned toward the sky, voice steady and resolute.

"Let's go. We're checking it out."

"The Underworld?" Goku blinked, clearly surprised.

"Alright!" Vegeta and Trunks responded immediately, eyes lighting up as they nodded in sync.

Jiang Chen didn't hesitate, and a shimmer of temporal energy surged forth, enveloping the trio.

"Whoosh!"

A rippling distortion swept through the air, this time lingering longer than before.

Moments later, 

"Whoosh!"

Underworld.

The familiar site of King Yama's palace is the traditional entry point to the afterlife.

Jiang Chen, Goku, Vegeta, and Trunks materialized all at once. But the instant they arrived, Jiang Chen's expression darkened. The Underworld had changed drastically from what he remembered.

The space was cloaked in a thick, oppressive darkness. Chaotic energy churned wildly, warping the dimensions into overlapping layers, distorting reality itself. Even Jiang Chen's temporal powers struggled to extend outward, something was actively resisting his influence.

Only now did he understand why the fortune teller hadn't been able to pierce into the Underworld.

In its current corrupted state, not even a mid-tier god of the spiritual realm could break through.

"Aspara, where are we?" Goku glanced around, his face a mix of confusion and curiosity.

"Is this really the Underworld?" Vegeta and Trunks narrowed their eyes, clearly uneasy.

"Goku, Vegeta, Trunks... we've got a serious problem." Jiang Chen's voice dropped low, his gaze scanning the fragmented horizon. The unstable space around them gave him a dreadful premonition.

And in that moment, a name surfaced in his mind, Janemba.

The monstrous demon from Fusion Reborn, Janemba, was born from the corruption of hellish energies gone unchecked. Originally a harmless ogre maintaining the soul-purification system in Hell, he had mutated when negative energy from across the Multiverse fused and exploded from the overloaded machine.

That evil coalesced into a grotesque creature that warped the very fabric of the afterlife, turning King Yama's palace into a twisted fortress, and imprisoning the judge of souls himself behind an impenetrable barrier.

Back then, only the fusion of Goku and Vegeta into Gogeta had been able to defeat him.

His power had even eclipsed that of Majin Buu and rivaled the monstrous Hirudegarn.

And right now, the scene around them mirrored that same distortion. The only difference?

King Yama was gone.

Whether he had been defeated... or consumed... was unknown.

"Let's stay sharp." The others nodded, with Goku visibly buzzing with anticipation, barely containing his battle-lust.

Jiang Chen extended his time energy, probing the distorted layers of space for anomalies.

As his power seeped outward, it brushed against something.

"It's here."

His voice was low, his eyes narrowing as he stared into the distance.

Suddenly, 

"Boom!"

The warped space tore open with a heavy pulse, and a thick, swirling vortex emerged. From its depths, a large, bloated, yellow creature bounced into view.

"Ee-vil... Ja-nem-ba... Eee-vil..."

The rotund beast landed with a jiggly thud, then sprang upright like a rubber ball.

Its coin-shaped eyes blinked as it caught sight of Jiang Chen and the others, drool slipping from its lips like a mindless child seeing candy.

"What... an insane power level..."

The instant Janemba's gaze locked onto them, a paralyzing pressure swept across the group. Sweat broke out on Goku's brow, and even Vegeta clenched his fists.

Jiang Chen's face grew serious.

This aura, it was on another level. And this was only Janemba's first form.

If he transformed into his second, leaner and far more dangerous form... things would escalate beyond control.

"Goku, Vegeta, Trunks, go scout the area. Try to locate North Kaiō if you can. I'll hold things down here." Jiang Chen instructed firmly.

Despite having returned from Earth, the corruption had severed his usual spatial senses. Even now, he couldn't connect with North Kaiō's realm. Letting the others remain would only risk their safety, Janemba wasn't an opponent they could handle at their current levels.

Better to send them searching while he kept the threat contained.

"Wait, " Goku hesitated, eyes flicking between Janemba and Jiang Chen.

"This isn't a fight you're ready for," Jiang Chen replied, knowing what Goku was thinking. "This thing's stronger than your average Super Saiyan 3. And once it transforms, the gap will widen even more. Janemba adapts. He evolves against strong opponents, and his next form is... a nightmare."

"What?!" Goku's eyes widened.

He had felt Janemba's power, but hadn't realized it outclassed even Super Saiyan 3. A form that multiplied base power four hundred times, and yet...

Vegeta and Trunks were visibly shaken too. They knew what that meant. This wasn't just another battle, it was a war against a phenomenon.

"Understood!"

Trunks was the first to move, quickly retreating into the fractured landscape in search of the path to North Kaiō's realm. Vegeta and Goku exchanged a look, silent but full of understanding, before vanishing in a burst of energy.

They both wanted to fight beside Jiang Chen.

But they knew better. This wasn't their battle to win, not yet. Staying behind would only slow him down. Without hesitation, the trio vanished into the shifting space. Janemba didn't even glance in their direction.

"Alright then... You'll be facing me!"

"Boom!"

Jiang Chen's hair snapped upward in a flash of gold, lightning dancing wildly around him.

In an instant, he entered Super Saiyan 2, and not just the base form.

He pushed it further, activating a two-hundredfold amplification.

The resulting power erupted outward like a shockwave, warping the very space around him.
