Chapter 353: Two Stages Of Oneness With The Sword.
The state of full body requires that one have total control of their body. This is the only way that loss of power during movement will be achieved.
Swordsmen like him are required to achieve the state of full body in order to become true swordsmen, not just mere men swinging swords.
In fact, the state of full body is not that special. The main difference is that people who have achieved this state will be equal to those who use spells.
The power of the body will become completely reproducible with the sword. But the power that they can produce is at most the same level as their cultivation in either body forging or energy forging.
The special advantage of the path of the sword only begins to show itself in the second state of the oneness with the sword. This second state is called full energy.
The state of full energy is when the power of internal energy or life energy and the body is combined. In that state, the power that can be produced will be doubled.
The power granted by the state of full energy is similar to the power granted by armaments. So no one should say that the Sword Way sect is a lot inferior to the Blood Skull sect. They are only partly inferior because a sword can't compare to an armament.
Unfortunately, only truly talented people can achieve the second stage of oneness with the sword. He has not even achieved the first stage, so he is still lacking.
Because he wasn't talented, he didn't get admitted to the Blood Skull sect, and because he still isn't talented, he hasn't done well in the Sword Way sect. He isn't an S-grade yet like the bald headed child.
All of these inadequacies have led to the situation where he has to be hiding like a rat from disciples of the Blood Skull sect. Just thinking about it caused the veins on his forehead to throb in anger.
He finally couldn't keep it in anymore. He opened his mouth and said with frustration, "I don't like it."
The scholar said to him, "Be quiet."
He was berated, so he became angrier. He roared and said to the scholar, "Jessick, I'm warning you. Don't test me now. You have no right to tell me to shut up."
Someone smacked him on the head to shut him up. He turned to them to explode in anger. But before he could make a move, the person pointed to something in front of them.
He hadn't been paying attention to their surroundings, so he didn't know where they were or what was going on around them. After a direction was pointed out, his curiosity was temporarily piqued, and he swallowed his anger in favor of seeing what's going on.
He looked in the direction that was pointed out and saw two disciples of the Blood Skull sect. One was riding on an iron horse, and the other was riding on a golden and fluffy lion.
This wasn't the first time he was seeing them. In fact, this was the third time.
The first time he met with them, they had just finished a battle and were looting their spoils. The second time was 30 minutes ago when a bunch of them were surrounding a guardian beast and its treasure.
This time, he has encountered them after a battle again. They are clearing the scene of battle and resting.
He looked around and realized that the people around him were telling him to keep quiet so as not to draw the attention of the two disciples. He didn't like it at all.
It would have been fine if the person they told him to shut up to was a disciple at the peak of the second mortal coil. But they had asked him to shut up for someone at the fourth transformation and another one at the first transformation.
It is one thing for them to ask him not to fight these two earlier. Now that his own companions are telling him to draw the attention of these two, he felt as if he had swallowed shit.
He had swallowed his anger earlier because of curiosity. But now that his curiosity has been satiated and he realizes that what he had swallowed was shit, he has to vomit it and spit it out of his mouth.
So he sneered and said, "Just two younglings. Not even halfway done with the second mortal coil. One of them even just started. Yet we are scared of them. What a shitty situation we are in."
The scholar tried to shut him up by clamping his mouth, but he struggled and separated from them.
He stretched out his hand as if to grab something. As he did so, one of the swords in his basket behind him rose from the basket and fell into his outstretched hands.
He grinned and said, "I wanted to fight them right from the first time I met them. I couldn't do it then, so it is good that I can make up for regret now."
This decision to fight them wasn't entirely made out of anger. He is angry that he is afraid and wants to prove himself. But he has also picked the right target to use to prove himself.
For him, it is one thing to be afraid of disciples of the Blood Skull Sect at the peak of the second mortal coil. He can understand that he is right to be afraid in that situation. But he can't understand why he has to be afraid of someone at the fourth transformation of the second mortal.
He understands that if there is someone that he can defeat in the Blood Skull sect, it has to be these two. So this is the right opportunity for him to prove himself.
He said to himself with the highest level of determination he could summon, "Not only must I fight, but I must also win and I must sever his life with my blade."
