Monster Integration

Chapter 4188: Entering

Chapter 4188: Entering

Thud Thud!

We landed in front of a single-story circular building.

There were already quite a lot of people, and nearly all of them were Prime. Older Primes;

many of them had youthful faces, but one could feel they were centuries old.

Some are over a millennium. A lot of old monsters have come to this place to hunt for me. I am the elixir that could help them take the next step.

They looked at the Carter before turning to me with surprise and curiosity.

I walked with the old man toward them with a gait full of confidence.

I met their eyes and smiled while they looked at the broken formation that flashed and swam on my body, with my aura fluctuating to its rhythm.

"Another friend from a different Prime world. Mind telling us which Prime world you have come from?" asked the elvish woman.

"No," I replied.

Surprising her, and many before, anger flashed in her eyes. She is from Elansor, one of the Golden Prime organizations.

"You are being a rude young man," said the elf, who looked even younger than me.

"I am not being rude, Prime. It's just that I don't want to share that information," I replied.

I wouldn't have explained myself either, but her organization had saved my life once.

Though I might have been able to run away on my own, the help they provided, including that medallion. Which helped me a lot many times.

"So, what happened to you?" she asked, looking at the runes flowing around me.

I could see nearly everyone focusing on me.

"I killed what I shouldn't have," I replied with a sigh and brough out the chair before sitting down.

Surprising many, with some having a shock in their eyes.

It is the first time. I hadn't clocked my core.

Since I got the core and space within, I have always been careful about it. I keep needed things in my storage, but when the thing is my core, I cloak it.

Show it that I had removed it from the storage, not from the core because only Primes have that ability.

Not all Primes. Only the most talented and powerful.

One gets it during their breakthrough into Prime. Though one needs powerful inheritance, pure energy. The most important condition is being ultimate limit Sky Sovereign.

They kept staring at me for a couple of seconds. Directly or indirectly.

"Carter, have you heard the news about Irmatis?" asked the man with purple metallic skin.

"What happened?" asked back the old man.

"Their shaman died. Killed, actually," replied the man with purple metallic skin. Immediately, a shock appeared in the old man's eyes, and he looked around.

Seeing that, the purple skin man shook his head.

"It's not one of us. It happened in the nine-lotus," he informed, and an old man took a sigh of relief before shock appeared in his eyes.

Irmatis is one of the three most dangerous cults. Their watch is bad for the old man and his organization.

Seeing Irmatis is a vengeful organization. One wouldn't want to get suspected by them. "Who is it? Has red-hunter finally killed him?" asked the old man. To that, the purple- skinned man shook his head, shocking the old man even more.

"Its someone unknown. He had aced the test of lotus, and the shaman had challenged him,"

"When the challenge ended, only the unknown man came out declaring that he had killed a shaman.

"He is also suspected to have killed. Rokus of Heavenly Rose. He had followed him as he came out of it and wasn't seen since them," replied the purple-skinned man.

"So, likely a breaker, Rokus. Even High-Prime wouldn't be able to kill him since he can fast with his law," said the old man, while the purple-skin man just nodded.

Their mood is somber.

If I had been in their place as the head of the individual organization, I would have been worried too, and hoped that Irmatis would find the person that killed their shaman. Though not openly. They show they are scared of the cult, but only through expression. They will not say it through the words. That would put them in trouble.

I listened to the other conversations that were happening openly, looking at the time when this place would open.

I have laid the base for my identity through various strategic steps, but only going inside will cement it.

I waited calmly as more and more people arrived.

They looked at me and talked. Some talked directly. Some talked to others about me. I kept

the altitude brazen with a hint of politeness if the other person was polite.

Soon, ten minutes have remained, and the conversations become hushed.

Some stopped and sat down. To get themselves in the best condition to face the challenge because the rewards are great.

I am also interested in the reward, but I would focus on consolidating my identity.

Thankfully, both are the same things.

Finally, the time passed, and a gong-like sound rang out from the building.

As it did, its thick wooden doors began to open.

We all walked toward it. Nobody rushed as they would remain open for ten minutes. However, most will remain stepped inside within a second.

People begin to enter inside one by one.

"I am looking forward to seeing you advance grade understanding of the ancient runes," said

old man Carter as he appeared beside me.

He didn't believe it. I have an advanced-grade understanding of the runes.

Which is good because it will be fun to see his expressions then.

"Get ready to be shocked then," I replied and stepped into the gate.

For a moment, it was dark before it became clear. I found myself in a large dome with a

circular while stele in front of me.

The stele isn't big. It is as big as me, with three layers of formations.

These are no common runes but ancient runes, with each layer corresponding to the grade.

The outer layer corresponds to basic runic knowledge. The middle corresponds to the intermediate, and the smallest formation in the center corresponds to the advanced grade.
