Chapter 150: Chapter 150. Meeting Grandma

The girls and I left the hotel, and I drove the new Rolls-Royce. As we drove, we noticed many billboards featuring Itzy. Their video promoting the cure had already gone viral.

When we arrived at the headquarters, I decided to join them because I wanted to visit Yeji. As we entered the office, I saw many unfamiliar faces already discussing their plans. The discussion stopped when they noticed someone had entered.

"Sorry to disturb. I'm just dropping off my girlfriends," I said, as Sana, Jihyo, and Momo each kissed me and then moved to their respective chairs.

"No problem, Neo. We're just discussing how we will promote GV," JYP said.

"You can continue. I just wanted to see Yeji; I haven't seen her in a few weeks." I walked over to Yeji, and she hugged and kissed me. The other members of Itzy also greeted me with kisses, which caught the attention of others in the room. They didn't realize Itzy had this kind of relationship with me.

I chatted with Yeji for a while and told her that after her busy day, we should meet her parents. After that, I left the office, and they resumed their meeting.

Today was the day So-Hee would finish her taping in the mountains. I drove there to pick her up. It was also the day that J&J would deliver the serum to the world. Many countries would send planes, and J&J would dispatch personnel to monitor the distribution.

Even though races were separated by seas or mountains, people still found places to gather and share their thoughts about global happenings. The internet helped people connect easily with one another.

"Thank goodness the cure for cancer has been discovered," someone remarked.

"The research for cancer has been ongoing for 200 years, and finally, Gray discovered it," another person added.

"The Gray family is quite mysterious. We don't know where they came from or how they amassed their wealth. They only resurfaced two years ago," someone else noted.

"I don't care about who they are or how they got their wealth. I'm just happy they are helping humanity," another person chimed in.

"There have been claims that the Grays were connected to the death of the general, but the U.S. government turned a blind eye to it due to the overwhelming evidence against the general," someone commented.

"He deserved it. But I think the last message attached to the files was telling: 'I'm young, but I'm not innocent. Try kidnapping my family again, and I'll destroy you.' Neo is young and currently the richest man," another person stated.

"I read somewhere that Neo intentionally wrote that to let people know they are capable of doing something like that," someone remarked.

"Anyway, I'm happy with the Grays. They are the only wealthy family willing to share their wealth with humanity," another person said.

"The world should thank them. One of my friends in Asia applied for help from their charity, and it was approved. You just need to show that you are studying hard and are a legitimate case of struggle, and they will help you," someone shared.

"Oh, the same thing happened with my sister. My parents told her she couldn't attend college due to financial struggles. But when she saw their interview on television, she applied for charity, was approved, and is now enrolling in college," another person added.

"I heard they also hired many homeless people to work for them. Such a noble family; they deserve recognition for that," someone commented.

"The great thing is they are helping not just the U.S., but also other countries. I also heard they are building a department for investigation, apparently because many financially stable people want to apply to take advantage of them," another person said.

Different social media platforms were buzzing about this. It was currently trending number one, followed by the Gray family and then GV.

While people were discussing all of this, Neo was already walking up the mountain. So-Hee had just texted him to say they had finished taping. Once he reached the top, he saw So-Hee waiting for him.

"So-Hee, did you wait long?" I asked as I approached her and gave her a kiss. I turned around to pick up her belongings.

"Not really. Let's go, Neo. I wanted you to meet my grandma. She's currently alone at home," she said.

We began descending the mountain and soon approached the parking lot where my car was parked.

"Tell me where you live, So-Hee," I asked.

So-Hee opened the car's map and pinned her location. "Just follow it. Neo, can I sleep? I'm kinda tired," she said.

"You can sleep. I'll wake you up when we get there," I told her.

She nodded and fell asleep. Neo enjoyed the drive while I focused on the road. Hours passed, and we were nearing So-Hee's house.

"So-Hee, we're already here. Wake up," I nudged her gently.

"Yawn, so refreshing. Let's go, Neo! Let's meet my grandma," she said as she opened the car door. She waited for me, and we walked together.

"Grandma, I'm home!" So-Hee called out as she opened the door.

"Oh my! So-Hee is already here. Grandma missed you so much!" her grandma exclaimed, looking at So-Hee. Turning to me with a smile, she said, "So this is your future husband? Come here, child; let Grandma have a conversation with you." She pulled my arm to the living room.

"So-Hee, the food is ready. You prepare it while I have a conversation with your husband," she said.

"Hello, Grandma," I said, bowing my head respectfully.

"Are you the guy with many girlfriends? So-Hee always talks about you. Are you serious about my granddaughter? Please don't hurt her; she has experienced a lot," Grandma said firmly.

"Don't worry, Grandma. So-Hee will be safe with me, and I will love her. My name is Neo Gray. You can just call me Neo," I replied.

"Gray? Hmm. Are you connected with the Gray family that has a charity and the one that gave the cure for cancer?" Grandma asked, studying me.

"Ah, yes, Grandma. I'm the eldest of the Gray family. How do you know about my family?" I asked her, knowing the answer but wanting to keep the conversation going.

"Your family's reputation is widely known today because of your contributions to humanity. So-Hee is lucky to meet you," Grandma said.

"No, I'm the lucky one to meet So-Hee," I replied.

"Let's eat. The food is ready," So-Hee's voice rang out.

Grandma and I walked to the kitchen, continuing our conversation there. We talked about my current girlfriends. Grandma didn't have a problem with me having multiple girlfriends, but So-Hee was a little shocked when I mentioned that I had claimed three more within the span of a day.

After eating, I gifted Grandma the timeless glow. She didn't hesitate to drink it, and immediately, she transformed back to her previous youthful appearance. She kept thanking me for this new opportunity, which made So-Hee very happy for her grandma, who could now work without worrying about her well-being.

"Grandma, Neo, and I will sleep first. I'm quite tired," So-Hee said. She wasn't sure if her grandma would agree with Neo staying in her room.

"Go ahead. Just don't make too much noise. I'll be going outside to enjoy being 30 again," Grandma said, leaving the house.

"Now that Grandma is gone, can I enjoy you, So-Hee?" I turned to her, hugging her waist tightly against my body.

"Hehe, so eager, Neo. Let's go to my room." Soon, So-Hee's playful voice mixed with soft moans could be heard.
