"My name is Keiran Vex.

Your world betrayed me… and now, I return it the favor."

Behind him, Omega-class mechas—machines not seen since the pre-cataclysm era—descended from orbit, crushing all defenses.

Zeron watched in silence from their new hideout in the ruins beneath Nova Ark.

"He's not just alive," Darin muttered. "He's leading the Crimson Orbit."

Zeron's hand trembled. The pendant his father gave him when he was five felt ice-cold against his chest.

"Why now...?"

"Why did he leave us… to burn…?"

Meanwhile, deep inside the shattered vaults of the original Guild Hall, a hidden archive activated.

Zui and Aelira had followed the trail left behind in the Verdict Grove, using an encrypted map encoded in Zui's DNA.

Inside, the twin girls found something terrifying:

Project Rebirth.

A simulation ran on an old cracked screen. It showed the creation of a humanoid mech—a fusion of organic matter and Krono, engineered from genetic material belonging to Zeron and Keiran.

Aelira read aloud:

"Subject Alpha-01.

Designed to withstand dimensional erosion.

Engineered by… Keiran Vex."

Zui's lips parted.

"My father… created Zeron?"

"No," a voice echoed.

From the dark corner stepped a woman—her body laced with mechanical implants, half her face covered with chrome plating.

"Your father resurrected him."

Outside the ruins where Zeron, Darin, and a few remaining allies had taken refuge, war drums thundered through the sky. Drones lit the air with blood-red beams.

The Emissary Army had come.

Dozens of hybrid mechas—half-alien, half-crimson tech—marched forward, led by a giant machine known as "Vessel X-13", which walked on three segmented legs and emitted psychic waves that made people go insane.

Zeron stepped forward, his hands trembling, his core still unstable.

Darin shouted:

"You're not ready! The Purple Krono hasn't fully awakened!"

Zeron gritted his teeth.

"If I wait until I'm 'ready'… there'll be no world left to protect."

He leapt into the cockpit of RazeWind, his prototype mech.

As the cockpit sealed shut, a flicker of violet danced across the display.

His mind spiraled. He saw images—his father standing in a lab, holding infant versions of Zeron and Zui. Then saw him walking away, into a gate of red.

Zeron's screams echoed inside the cockpit.

Then…

A hand reached into the illusion.

Darin's voice crackled over the comm.

"You're not alone anymore, Z.

Fight with us."

Zeron's mind cleared—and a massive wave of pure, violet Krono erupted from his mech.

He sliced through Vessel X-13 in a single, clean arc.

🧬 Scene 5: The Truth Layered in Lies

Back at the Project Rebirth archive, Zui faced the half-machine woman.

"Who are you?"

She removed the plate over her mouth.

"Dr. Enaris. I was the lead biologist behind Project Rebirth. Your father gave me one mission—make Zeron a vessel powerful enough to… withstand the Mirror Gate."

Aelira interjected:

"The Mirror Gate? That's just a myth—"

"It's not," Enaris replied. "It connects to the Crimson Orbit's source. It's not just another dimension… it's a prison."

Zui stared in disbelief.

"So Zeron was born to break into that prison?"

"No," Enaris said softly.

"He was born to replace what's inside."
