Chapter 129: : Ascension Echoes – The Orbit Wakes
📘 Chapter 129
⚙️ Scene 1: The Trial of Zeron
Inside the majestic halls of The Guild Citadel, a thousand projections lit the courtroom like constellations. Zeron stood, shackled in electromagnetic cuffs, surrounded by members of the Guild Council.
High Marshal Eravon slammed his mech-hand against the dais.
"Zeron Vex, you are hereby accused of breaching classified Krono systems, unauthorized awakening of dormant Archives, and suspected activation of a forbidden protocol—Codename: Null."
Gasps echoed through the hall. Even Astra, now bound behind him in stasis, pulsed dimly.
Zeron raised his chin.
"You think I planned this? The MirrorProtocol, the awakening of Keiya… I'm just trying to stop what's coming!"
Councilor Veyna stood, voice laced with venom.
"And what exactly is coming, Zeron? More traitors? Another war? Or the reawakening of The Crimson Orbit?"
The court darkened. A massive star-map projection appeared above.
It showed a red planet… no, an orbiting fortress—drifting closer to Earth.
🔧 Scene 2: The Crimson Orbit
In deep space, beyond Pluto's remains, a massive ring-shaped fortress blinked into view—slowly spinning.
Inside, a figure stood atop a balcony: clad in bone-colored armor and a cape of void-thread. His eyes glowed ultraviolet.
He was not human.
"Begin recalibration of the Ascension Drive," he ordered.
"Earth's resonance signal has awakened."
Beside him, a human knelt—his face hidden, voice warped.
"The Null Protocol has breached containment. The purple seed… is growing."
The alien turned, smiling.
"Good. Let the puppets play. We shall arrive as gods."
He walked toward a glowing chamber where thousands of hibernation pods were ready.
Above them, written in crimson glyphs:
"We were the first creators. Now, we reclaim our world."
🧪 Scene 3: Verdict Ivy's Whisper
Zui stood in a dense grove pulsing with Krono-light. The staff-like Verdict Ivy wrapped around her arm began to hum and stretch—sensing the disturbance in the planetary balance.
Suddenly, vines on the forest floor slithered back. A Verdentian Phantom, a corrupted guardian of the forest, rose from the trees, its face a mask of moss and steel.
"Who awakens the Heart of Ivy?" it bellowed.
"I'm not here to hurt you," Zui said, raising her blade.
"You carry it," the phantom whispered. "The fragment of her soul…"
Without warning, it attacked, its arms forming into jagged wooden blades. Zui dodged—barely.
But with a roar, her staff blazed in green and silver light, and Verdict Ivy transformed, growing wings of bark and leaves.
"Then test me," Zui whispered, stance steady.
"I won't fall until I understand the truth."
🧠 Scene 4: Angel-Type 0 Awakens
Back in Redlight Temple's ruins, Aelira sat inside Angel-Type 0, its cockpit syncing with her consciousness.
Images bombarded her mind—ancient wars, forgotten gods, a symbol… the Crown of Origin.
The mech's voice boomed inside her skull.
"You have awakened the pilot gene. Your flame is accepted."
Suddenly, her vision changed—she saw a flickering map of all Purple Krono seeds on Earth. Only three remained.
One… inside Zeron.
One… buried in a lost ocean trench.
And one… inside the Crimson Orbit.
📡 Scene 5: Darin's Discovery
Meanwhile, Darin escaped the Guild's traps using a clever Krono-hack. He linked into Zeron's personal log files and decrypted a ghost file hidden beneath seven layers of security.
Inside the file: a transmission sent years ago from Zeron's father.
"If you're seeing this… I'm likely dead. But listen, Zeron—your Krono is not broken. It's locked. The Ascension Lock. Only the Flame Bearer and the Ivy Child can break it."
"And when the Crimson Orbit moves… the Metaverse Core will awaken."
Darin's eyes widened.
"He's not the end. He's the beginning."
