Sensing Kaguya's rather jealous gaze, Haruto looked up in alert and asked with some confusion:

"Kaguya-san, is something wrong?"

Kaguya puffed up her cheeks, wanting to ask who this "Asuna" girl was—but at the same time feeling like she didn't have the right to.

Just as she was stewing in frustration, Haruto reached out and poked her cheek.

Kaguya's face turned bright red in an instant.

As a proper young lady, Kaguya had almost no physical contact with the opposite sex. Her understanding of relationships was still at the "kissing equals pregnancy" stage.

Looking at the blushing Kaguya, Haruto felt like something had struck his heart.

So cute. Kaguya is way too adorable.

Iino had to quickly remove the jacket, after which the situation began to improve.

Fortunately, the girl's healing abilities seemed far beyond normal. The damaged skin quickly regenerated, returning to a smooth, pale sheen.

Relieved but troubled, Iino now faced a dilemma.

How was she supposed to get this girl out of here?

She couldn't just let her walk out fully naked.

That would almost certainly traumatize her for life.

As a member of the Public Morals Committee, Iino could not allow such a thing to happen.

(Even though, in most works of fiction, Public Morals Committee members are the main culprits behind disrupting public morals.)

Iino also tried to talk with the girl.

The fact that she had appeared out of nowhere on Shuchiin's campus was already strange enough.

But through conversation, Iino learned the girl was suffering from amnesia.

She had no idea how she arrived here, what was happening to her, not even her name or anything about her family.

Just as Iino let out a sigh—

She heard the rustling of footsteps nearby.

Someone was stepping on the grass.

Hearing the sound, Iino instantly became alert.

She had asked Secretary Fujiwara to go get help from the president.

But this area was far in the back of Shuchiin's grounds—quite a distance from the student council room.

Logically, Fujiwara couldn't have returned with backup so quickly…

Unless President Kaguya just happened to be taking a stroll near the artificial hill.

With that thought, Iino cautiously stepped out from behind the hill and looked around. And what she saw made her blood run cold.

Several male students from Shuchiin were approaching the artificial hill.

Their expressions were completely off—their eyes glazed over, leering with perverse hunger.

"Hey! You boys, back away! Any closer and I'll report you for violating school morals!"

Normally, shouting that someone was disturbing public morals was enough to stop any Shuchiin student in their tracks.

After all, no one wanted to risk being expelled from Shuchiin Academy.

But today, her words had no effect at all.

The boys continued advancing, drooling.

Iino started to panic.

Physically speaking, she probably couldn't even handle one of them on her own.

There was a huge difference in strength between boys and girls—a harsh reality.

And these boys had clearly lost their sanity.

Gritting her teeth, Iino stepped forward and stood in front of them, trying to block their path with her small body.

Her understanding of gender dynamics wasn't all that deep either. But she could vaguely sense what these boys intended to do.

If she really let them reach the back of the hill, that girl—

Iino didn't even want to imagine the consequences.

So she stood her ground without hesitation.

A few of the boys started shoving her, trying to move her aside. But no matter how many times they pushed, Iino didn't budge.

Eventually, frustrated by their lack of progress, one of the boys lost his temper.

He raised his fist high, ready to resort to violence.

Iino Miko shut her eyes tightly, her heart filled with fear as she braced for the pain. But in the next moment, she heard several dull thuds.

Yet, there was no pain. Her body hadn't been flung aside.

Cautiously, Iino opened her eyes a crack, and then fully.

The scene before her left her stunned.

There stood Haruto, holding a crowbar in hand. The group of boys had already collapsed to the ground, fallen into a deep sleep.

"Young people really do have good sleep quality, out like a light."

Haruto quipped casually…

Sometimes, the D-Class memory wipe technique really came in handy.

Soon after, Kaguya and Chika came rushing over, and were equally shocked by what they saw.

Iino looked at Haruto.

Normally, witnessing such a violent act, Iino would've rushed in to stop it without hesitation.

But today, being protected by Haruto through "violent means"—all she felt was a sense of salvation.

"Miss Public Morals Committee, you're not hurt, are you?"

Haruto's concerned voice pulled her back to reality.

Snapping out of it, Iino quickly shook her head.

"Justice is important, but from now on, be sure to consider the circumstances. If you get hurt, you won't be able to uphold justice anymore."

Haruto offered a bit of advice.

He had seen everything Iino did earlier.

This girl was willing to risk her own safety to protect someone else.

Iino nodded.

Whether she was still shaken or just feeling shy after being rescued—it was hard to say. But the usually talkative Iino was uncharacteristically quiet today.

"In any case, let's go check on the girl."

Haruto suggested.
