Marvelous Dragon ball

Chapter 31: Kame School existence

Rex pointed to a store across the street. "As I said, I follow Kame School. We have a technique called Ki Sense. It's like a bio-radar, detecting human bodies. For example, I know you have two agents hiding in that building. They're on the third floor, on the left side."

Coulson's eyebrows shot up. "I understand. I can't make any promises, but I'll suggest to the bureau that they adapt their methods to meet your needs."

Rex seemed satisfied. He stood up and offered his hand. "Well, Coulson, if everyone in your bureau is as polite as you, we'd get along just fine."

Coulson smiled, but his eyes were sharp. "Mr. Lee, if you don't mind, I have one more question."

"Ha ha! I was wondering why you were so nice!"

Coulson shrugged. "Mr. Lee, didn't you say you'd tell us anything, as long as we didn't interfere with your business?"

Rex was caught off guard. He sat back down, sighing. "Okay, what do you want to know?"

Coulson sat across from him. "Mr. Lee, from what I've seen, Kame School seems very different from Kunlun and the Hand. You seem to think it's superior..."

Rex knew this was coming. He smiled proudly. "It's because those schools are weak, but we're strong!"

Coulson looked at him skeptically. "Mr. Lee, please be serious."

"Alright, alright. It's complicated. Kunlun suffered a disaster a long time ago. I don't know the details, but they lost a lot of their knowledge and power. The Hand split off after that, so they're even worse off. Kame School, however, has been preserved, and its teachings are intact."

"So that's it!" Coulson nodded. "If you don't mind, where's your dojo located?"

Rex kept his proud expression. "The dojo is somewhere in the South China Sea. You need to find the mountain gate to get there. But it's special. If you're not meant to be there, you won't find it."

"So, you're like Kunlun, hidden in another dimension?"

"Not bad, Agent Coulson! You've done your homework!" Rex smiled.

"Of course, I can't just keep asking you questions. But I don't understand this. You're half Chinese, but our records don't show you've ever been to China. How did you become a Kame Style apprentice?"

"Ah, that..." Rex took a moment. "My sensei came to New York when I was a kid, and took me on as his apprentice."

"Your sensei? Who is he?"

The image of the old pervert popped into Rex's mind. "I'm just his apprentice. I'm not worthy of saying his name. You can call him 'Kame Sennin'."

"Kame Sennin? Kame School, Kame Style, Kame Sennin... He must be the greatest Kame Style master!"

"Yes! Kame Sennin is the leader of Kame School. He might not be the strongest, but he's the most respected."

Coulson watched Rex carefully. "So, he taught you all these abilities? Can you explain how, specifically?"

Rex frowned. "I can give you a general explanation, but first, why do you want to know?"

Coulson decided to be honest. "The truth is, your Kame Style is very mysterious, and we don't know much about it. My superiors ordered me to gather as much information as I can."

"So, you want to figure out how to restrain a Kame Style user?"

"No, no, we just want to learn more, to understand better. We don't..."

Rex raised his hand, cutting him off. "Don't worry, you don't have to explain. Even if that's true, I'll still tell you more. Think about it. This knowledge has been passed down and cultivated for thousands of years. Can it really be restrained?"

Rex smiled arrogantly. "So, are you ready to take notes, student Coulson?"

"Coulson coughed, pointing to his collar. "Well, since I came in, I've been broadcasting live audio and video to the bureau..."

Rex was speechless. After a long silence, he cleared his throat. "First, we'll start with the basics..."
