Chapter 29: Chapter 29: Joining the Task Force, Meeting 096 at the Beginning?
The white man seemed to be a chatterbox. Seeing that many of the people around him were newcomers who didn't know much about the Mobile Task Force, he immediately started to show off his "talent":
"What? You thought the Foundation only had one Mobile Task Force? You must be kidding."
He simply sat on the ground and began to explain:
"The basic structure of each Mobile Task Force will vary greatly in order to best accomplish its intended objectives. Combat task forces closely resemble military hierarchy and organization, while smaller units may have informal or otherwise classified chains of command."
The white man counted on his fingers: "Mobile task forces vary in size, composition, and objectives. A battalion-sized combat task force trained to deal with highly aggressive individuals may consist of hundreds of soldiers as well as support personnel, vehicles, and equipment and can be deployed in whole or in part around the world to deal with threats. For example, the 'hammer drop' I just mentioned!"
Immediately, a new comedian appeared to offer his support: "What about the hammer dropping?"
The white man's tone was full of envy, and he said, "Nu-7-Hammerfall is a battalion-sized task force. With three company-sized teams of special forces infantry, a light armored vehicle company, a tank platoon, a helicopter squadron, a chemical-biological-radiological-nuclear (CBRN) platoon, a combat engineer platoon, a nuclear weapons specialist (NWS) team, and additional combat specialists and support personnel..."
At the end, he concluded with pride: "In short, Nu-7 is the most powerful task force in our Foundation in terms of conventional weapons firepower!"
Others also retorted: "Tsk, they are just conventional weapons. How can they compare to thaumaturges? How can they compare to those immortal iron lumps of Samsara?"
When these words were spoken, the white man felt insulted and immediately started arguing with the man.
"FK! Guns and cannons are the romance of men."
The man was not to be outdone: "Armor is a man's dream!"
Here you are a 'village fool', and there I am an 'abyss gazer'.
This back and forth has given Marvel audiences a deeper understanding of certain task forces.
"What the hell? So complicated? Oh no, so cool?"
"'Spear of Hecate' sounds powerful. How does it compare to superheroes?"
"I think 'Abyss Feeder' is also quite interesting. Don't forget, the ocean occupies more than 80% of the planet's area."
"Damn it, are you all crazy? These are deadly jobs!"
Different from the style of the live broadcast room.
S.H.I.E.L.D.
With each name of a task force and its ability spoken on the screen, Nick Fury's face turned paler. By the end of his speech, his dark face had almost turned a shade paler.
Are you crazy?
You are an organization that contains anomalies, but why is the armed agency so terrifying?
Not to mention anything else, just a 'Nu-7-Hammerfall', in the Marvel world, is enough to serve as the entire firepower of some small countries!
Add to that all the thaumaturgy, memes, reality benders...
Nick Fury was numb.
He had previously thought that the SCP Foundation was nothing special. Now it seems that even without those strange objects in storage, these mobile task forces alone are enough to threaten S.H.I.E.L.D....
In the picture.
The quarrel between the two was stopped promptly by the instructor as some confidential content emerged.
Leon Lake was also called into the office by the instructor.
"Please take a seat!"
The instructor treated Leon Lake much more seriously than he treated the two quarreling fools.
After Leon Lake sat down, the instructor explained:
"Leon, with your excellent test results, you may not stay in our Nine-Tailed Fox for long, and you will be transferred to a higher authority by your superiors."
The two people who were being scolded nearby pricked up their ears instantly.
Leon Lake nodded calmly.
"Those two idiots may have already told you that, yes, our nine-tailed fox is actually not bad."
The instructor lit a cigarette and said with a smile:
"Mobile Task Force Epsilon-11 handles security within the SCP Foundation under the supervision of MTF Alpha-1. In other words, we're the special ops team deployed to Foundation sites when standard protocol fails and multiple breaches are imminent."
As soon as he finished speaking, the chatterbox white man stuck his neck out and said, "That's right, Leon, just like you people say - 'We are fast-moving, moving wherever we are needed'!"
"Shut your filthy mouth, you idiot!"
After being scolded by the instructor, the guy shrank his neck again, but he was still winking at Leon Lake.
The audience in the live broadcast room were in tears and laughter.
At this point, most people understood. This nine-tailed fox is specifically responsible for handling security issues within the Foundation, such as containment breaches.
Phew~
The instructor exhaled a puff of smoke, then smiled and said, "Don't worry, containment failures don't happen every day, and..."
Perhaps because he was worried about scaring Leon Lake, he wanted to explain, but before he could finish his words...
Beep beep beep!!!
Beep beep beep!!!
"Warning, containment breach has occurred within the site!"
"Lockdown Response Code (LRC): 21/A/NTT-Black!"
Along with the warning, shrill sirens also resounded throughout the Nine-Tailed Fox Task Force training base.
Everyone watched helplessly as the instructor's face turned from white to red, and from red to black.
This is such a slap in the face.
However, now is obviously not the time to care about these things.
The instructor stood up and shouted, "Damn it, time to work!"
Before he finished speaking, several people in white coats rushed into the office.
"A containment breach has occurred at Site 21! We, Mobile Task Force Epsilon-11-Nine-Tailed Fox, are requested to take immediate and appropriate action at Site 21 to combat at least one non-terminable containment object..."
The instructor's face was serious: "Which containment failed?"
"SCP-096..."
"What!!!"
