Chapter 2: Chapter 2 Meeting Captain Marvel
Beside him, Loki watched his face change, as if Thor had turned into an emoji. Loki was about to complain when a soldier came in to report.
"Your Majesty, Lord Heimdall discovered that an unknown person has broken into Midgard, which seems to be related to the Kree and the Skrulls. He ordered me to come and report."
"Oh?" Odin didn't seem concerned. "Neither the Kree nor the Skrulls can turn the tide. As for the war between them, it has nothing to do with Asgard."
As the King of Gods, Odin knows many things that others don't. The Earth, which nominally belongs to Asgard, is not as ordinary as it seems. As long as Kamar-Taj exists, even if Ronan the Accuser comes, it will not pose a threat.
In fact, there aren't many benefits to be gained from this plot. The Tesseract will eventually be brought to Asgard, and the advanced technology of the Kree is only relative to Earth. Although Asgard looks medieval, its technological level is actually the best in the entire universe.
But Thor still plans to go. First, Earth will be the place where many big events will unfold in the future. Second, it's easier to build a good relationship with Captain Marvel, who hasn't awakened yet.
You need a communication device, and you can stand in the front row as a shield during Ragnarök.
Besides, he has another plan.
"Father, let me go to Midgard. As a member of the Nine Realms, if other forces break in, at least we should make our stance clear."
Thor looked serious.
---
Earth, a mountain road in the western United States.
A woman in a leather jacket looks downcastly at a broken-down motorcycle.
"Hi, beautiful lady. Need help?"
A luxurious sports car stopped beside her, and a young man inside the car whistled and called out to her. At the same time, he looked at the woman.
Captain Marvel isn't bad looking at all.
The young man is, of course, Thor, who had been following Carol Danvers since she was at the subway station and also caused the motorcycle to break down.
---
Carol Danvers pondered for a while before getting into the car anyway.
---
"The car's not bad." At a speed of more than two hundred miles per hour, Carol, with her hair blown by the wind, felt a little better. The depression caused by various inconveniences on this backward planet in the past two days dissipated a lot.
---
"That's..." Thor was talking when he suddenly felt a warning sign and quickly jumped out of the car. At the same time, a fiery energy cannon blasted the door beside him.
"Who the hell are you?" Carol asked, her hands glowing. The skill shown by Thor was by no means something an Earthling could do—at least not something a playboy could achieve.
---
Thor called Mjolnir to his hand and curiously asked, "How did you figure it out? Is there something wrong with my performance?"
"Your following is too obvious. I noticed you long ago. And your approach is outdated," Carol said, firing several consecutive energy blasts. Thor blocked them with Mjolnir.
---
"Boom—boom—boom—" The two had fought for several rounds in a matter of breaths. Thor's lightning was scattered by Carol's energy cannon, and all of Carol's attacks were blocked.
"Hey, I'm not your enemy!" Thor shouted while defending.
Carol turned a deaf ear.
"Look, this is the power of thunder. You should know that Skrulls don't have the ability to discharge electricity, right?"
Smash!
"Stop, I have something to say..."
---
"Wait until you're on the ground, then we can talk..."
---
F**k! Thor was getting frustrated—this woman was too reckless. At first, they fought back and forth, but now they'd been going at it for half an hour...
"Hey, don't you want to know about Dr. Lawson? And your lost memory?" Thor finally had an idea.
Carol stopped and asked, "Do you know about Dr. Lawson? Do you know about my past?"
Thor breathed a sigh of relief; his hands were already numb. "I only have a general understanding, and you may not believe me if I tell you. If you want to know the cause and effect, then come with me. We'll find someone first."
"Where are you going?"
"Casino Bar."
