Marvel: The Tokyo Avengers

"Some places speak without words. Others scream."

Previously:

Xylo hunted and defeated the chaos trio alone — Scissor Kiss, Gunbounce, and The Mute — revealing glyphs burned into their skin.

The Avengers now suspect someone else is pulling the strings. A glyph master.

The trail leads them to the ruins of a forgotten temple deep beneath Tokyo.

🎬 [ACT I — Into the Depths]

Scene: Shinjuku – Underground Ruins Entrance, Midnight

The team gathers at a hidden sewer chamber. Scarlet Onna's threads flicker with warning. Her eyes narrow.

SCARLET ONNA:

"The barrier here is ancient… but broken. Something let itself out."

ONMYO FLARE (reading the walls):

"Glyphwork from the Edo era. Forbidden sealing magic."

NEKOBURST:

"So who decided to open the ghost jar this time?"

STARWAVE (glancing at Heartlight):

"We splitting up again?"

KURO:

"Pairs. Minimum exposure. If you feel cold… run."

They enter the temple.

Darkness consumes everything.

🎬 [ACT II — Pair Missions]

⚔️ Kuro + Scarlet Onna

They walk through a corridor made of bone-gray stone. The walls whisper.

SCARLET ONNA (softly):

"The threads are stiff. Something's warping time."

Suddenly, her own threads lash back at her. Controlled by unseen hands.

Kuro growls and shifts partially into his lunar beast form, his claws glowing faintly.

KURO:

"They're mimicking your thoughts. That's not magic… it's memory."

Scarlet Onna reels back as a shadow in the form of her dead sister appears.

SISTER'S SHADE:

"Why did you leave me behind in Kyoto?"

SCARLET ONNA (teeth clenched):

"You're not her."

Kuro howls — the sound reverberates like an ancient bell. The memory shatters.

🌙 Heartlight + Starwave

They walk through a golden-lit hall. Mosaic hearts line the walls, glowing pink.

HEARTLIGHT (nervously):

"This place is weirdly... romantic?"

STARWAVE (suspicious):

"Which means it's definitely cursed."

They step into a circle — the light dims. Illusions of their best moments flash around them — rooftop nights, first smiles, gentle laughter.

HEARTLIGHT:

"I remember this…"

Suddenly, the illusions twist into nightmares — Starwave choking on stage, Heartlight falling mid-flight.

STARWAVE (grabbing his hand):

"It's using our bond. Don't let go."

They blast outward — her sonic kick + his radiant wings forming a resonance burst. The illusions crack.

🐾 Nekoburst + Xylo

Creeping through a ruined prayer hall filled with hanging charms. Nekoburst's ears twitch.

NEKOBURST:

"It's quiet. Too quiet."

Xylo's hands twitch. The air changes.

Suddenly, reflections of them appear — moving independently.

NEKOBURST (growling):

"I swear to Mephisto if these are doppelgangers—"

XYLO:

"No. They're choices. Echoes of who we were."

Her double wears a school uniform, frightened.

His double is younger, hands dripping with blood, eyes wide and broken.

YOUNG XYLO (whispers):

"You never stopped cutting…"

XYLO (cold):

"No. I just got better at it."

He slashes the air — the copy fades.

🎬 [ACT III — The Whisperer]

They regroup in the central sanctum.

The walls hum. Glyphs ignite — one by one — until the whole chamber is glowing red.

A figure floats down from the shadows.

A monk-like robe draped in scrolls, hands made of ink-black paper, and a face with no mouth — only moving kanji.

✒️ The Whisperer

THE WHISPERER (glyphs on face shift):

"We sealed it for a reason. You broke the silence."

KURO:

"Who sent you?"

THE WHISPERER:

"The question is — why haven't you screamed yet?"

He flings a scroll. It explodes midair — and words become weapons.

The team scatters.

Scarlet Onna's threads are unraveled by ink

Onmyo Flare's charm blades burn mid-chant

Xylo tries to cut through the kanji — but they morph and deflect his hand

STARWAVE (yelling):

"We're not letting some ink puppet out-write us!"

She stomps and unleashes a pure frequency pulse.

Heartlight boosts it with a burst of radiant love-light.

The Whisperer twists midair, forming a glyph shield — but the burst cracks through.

Kuro lunges with lunar claws and tears across the Whisperer's kanji-covered chest.

The Whisperer screams — but it's silent.

He disappears in a swirl of burnt paper and blood-red ink.

🎬 [ENDING SCENE — The Glyph Shard]

Among the debris, they find it — a broken scroll core, still glowing.

ONMYO FLARE:

"This... this was tied to Mephisto's prison magic."

SCARLET ONNA:

"He was one of the Sealed Nine. A voice taken to protect the world."

HEARTLIGHT (grave):

"Now someone's letting them out. One... by one."

The Avengers look around, exhausted, burned, but unshaken.

NEKOBURST:

"Then we're gonna shut the scroll before it rewrites this city."
