MARVEL: THE ONE ABOVE ALL TIER LIST

Chapter 17: THOR VS Human Torch

After landing, the Human Torch, now out of his combustion state, looked at the struggling Iron Man and asked,"Mr. Stark, are you okay? I hope I'm not too late."

"You... the Human Torch?"

Tony, who had seen the introductory video about the Fantastic Four, immediately recognized the young man in front of him—he looked a bit like Captain America.

As for Thor, he seemed extremely pleased by the Human Torch's arrival. At first, he thought he wouldn't be able to teach this insolent brat a lesson across universes, but he didn't expect him to come knocking on his door himself.

Thor laughed heartily and said,"Human Torch? Excellent! I thought I wouldn't get the chance to beat you because of the distance between our worlds—but you've come to me on your own."

Tony quickly glanced at the damage on his suit and said awkwardly,"Ahem! I don't think this is the time for introductions. Let's first take care of this oversized idiot with the hammer."

"No worries—leave him to me!"

The moment he finished speaking, the Human Torch ignited once again, launching a wave of blazing fire from his hands toward Thor.

Thor raised his hammer and casually swatted away the flame. Then he looked at the flaming young man and said:

"Your powers feel strangely familiar. Could you be Surtur's illegitimate son on Earth?"

"Who's Surtur?" asked the Torch, confused.

Meanwhile, Surtur, who was watching the livestream, was immediately enraged by Thor's words:

[Surtur: You foolish Asgardians! Don't think you can tarnish my name just because Odin protects you! How could I, the mighty fire giant Surtur, father a weakling like this? We're not even from the same universe!]

Elsewhere, Odin was watching the stream too, and the veins on his arm holding the Spear of Eternity bulged.

There had always been a prophecy in Asgard that Surtur would bring doom upon it. Odin had feared him in silence for ages.

Thor glanced at the Torch and sneered,"Surtur is the fire giant from Norse mythology. Kid, I suggest you read more books—it won't hurt you."

The Torch thought: A fire giant? Sounds like a cool name, but I'm definitely more handsome!

Smiling eagerly, he shot into the sky, locking eyes with Thor.

"God of Thunder, let's see today if you can handle my heat!"

His flames turned blood red, and he shot straight toward Thor.

"Fool!"

Thor saw him coming and hurled his hammer.

The Torch, alert and agile, wasn't afraid. With his aerial maneuvering skills, he dodged the hammer and continued rushing toward Thor.

Suddenly, he heard a gust of wind behind him—the hammer was returning to Thor.

The Torch had never faced a weapon like that before and didn't have time to dodge.

Bang!

The hammer struck him hard, sending him crashing to the ground.

Though he didn't lose consciousness, the hit left him with serious internal injuries.

Meanwhile, Tony, who had been ignored by both fighters, didn't just sit idle. As the two fought, he launched several small missiles at Thor.

Thor's agility was nowhere near the Torch's, so he couldn't dodge in time.

Boom!

Thor was engulfed in explosions.

Tony muttered as he watched,"That should do it, right?"

But what Tony didn't know was that his newly invented missiles, though ten times stronger than regular ones, still weren't enough.

Isaac, watching from afar, muttered,"Looks like this pitiful kid, Tony Stark, has never watched anime. Doesn't he know smoke never means victory?"

Just then, Thor's hammer flew out of the smoke and slammed into Tony's chest, sending him flying.

[Warning! Warning! Armor damage at 80%! Structure critical!]

As the smoke cleared, Thor appeared, surrounded by lightning, his eyes glowing with thunderous rage.

Tony's attack hadn't weakened him—it had ignited his true power.

"You foolish mortals! You will now face the judgment of the God of Thunder!"

He raised his hammer high, summoning a bolt of lightning from the sky. Through it, Thor formed a thunder whip and lashed it directly at Tony, who was trying to stand.

Tony was struck again and thrown to the ground. This time, Jarvis didn't even issue a warning—the Iron Suit disintegrated on the spot. Fortunately, Tony was still alive.

At that moment, the Human Torch finally recovered and managed to stand. As he rose, he saw the shattered remains of Tony's suit.

What started as a 2-on-1 battle had now become a 1-on-1.

Iron Man was out, and only the Human Torch remained.

Thor walked forward slowly, eyes locked on the Torch with a sharp gaze.

"Now you're the only one left… are you ready to pay the price, you insolent brat?"
