MARVEL: THE ONE ABOVE ALL TIER LIST

Chapter 13: N05 -The Ravagers

[Fifth Strongest Organization – The Ravagers]

[Organization Overview: "The Ravagers" are an interstellar mercenary syndicate composed of various spacefaring mercenary groups. A brutal organization that respects only power and money, willing to do anything for the right price.]

After the rankings were announced, Marvel's List began broadcasting live footage of the Ravagers in action—scenes of looting, arson, murder, and pillaging filled the screen.

As mercenaries, most of their work was dirty. The first impression of the Ravagers was one of chaos and savagery.

[Tony Stark]: It's hard to believe that intelligent life capable of space travel can still be this barbaric.

[Star-Lord]: That's slander! At most, we've done a little petty theft. No arson, no murder, no pillaging! And sometimes we're just hired for a few dirty jobs, that's all.

[Yondu]: Shut up, you idiot! We don't need to justify ourselves. We're free in this universe—we've done both good and bad. No need to explain ourselves to anyone!

[Thor]: These lowly creatures prey on the weak. They have no honor! Like stray dogs, they serve whoever feeds them.

[Isaac Leclerc]: @Nick Fury, what's your opinion, Director? If the Ravagers turned their gaze toward Earth, and Captain Marvel wasn't around… do you really think your S.H.I.E.L.D. could protect it?

[Nick Fury]: …

Although Nick Fury had long been aware of the malicious intent of alien forces, the footage still gave him chills. He hadn't expected such savagery to persist even in the interstellar age.

His hand instinctively reached for the pager in his pocket… The mere touch of it brought him a sliver of comfort.

"It's time to activate the Avengers Initiative."

That was Fury's serious thought.

He was certain that after seeing the brutality of these so-called space mercenaries, the other leaders would finally approve his plan. Earth now felt like a primitive village surrounded by bandits on every side.

No one could say when these space pirates might strike—and destroy everything.

In times like these, deterrence was essential. And S.H.I.E.L.D., alongside Captain Marvel, was the best available option.

Meanwhile, Isaac—as usual—was tossing insults at S.H.I.E.L.D. while eagerly looking forward to the reward for the fifth-place ranking.

[Rank Rewards – Choose One of Three]:

Upgrade for all main ships of the Ravager mercenary teams + Team-type Interdimensional Travel Pass

Each Ravager team receives a star-destroying weapon mounted on their ship + Team-type Interdimensional Travel Pass

Each Ravager leader receives a Resurrection Fragment + Team-type Interdimensional Travel Pass

"Damn!"

Isaac Leclerc was stunned by the sheer scale of the reward.

Compared to this, Hydra's ninth-place reward seemed laughable.

The Ravagers consisted of multiple squads, each led by a commander. This meant their rewards were distributed in bulk—at least five times greater than the reward for sixth place.

That thought got Isaac even more hyped about the rewards to come for the top four spots.

Elsewhere, in the Ravagers' private group chat, the commanders were fiercely debating which reward to pick.

In the end, they went with the first option: upgrade all main ships + team interdimensional pass.

Isaac raised an eyebrow in surprise at the decision.

Weren't mercenaries all about greed? How did they resist the temptation of resurrection cards? And what about those who sided with Nick Fury and picked resurrection—how must they feel now?

Apparently, the Ravagers had more strategic awareness than most leaders.

[Whitehall]: Are they insane? Why pick just one? Resurrection is life!

[Baron Strucker]: I don't get these aliens… Isn't resurrection more useful? Why waste it on ship upgrades? If you're alive, you can just steal another ship!

[Yondu]: You Earth apes have never stepped off your little planet. How could you possibly understand a predator's mindset?

The Ravagers analyzed the resurrection reward and found it lacking.

First, it didn't enhance team unity. Second, it was useless to them.

At their level, if they died, even ten resurrection cards wouldn't save them.

As for the star-destroying weapons? They didn't want to become targets of the universe's major powers.

Their choice was smart—and pragmatic.

Nick Fury, monitoring the chat, let out a sigh of relief. If a space gang like the Ravagers got their hands on a star-destroyer… the universe would be doomed.

Even the leaders of great cosmic civilizations were relieved. Had the Ravagers picked the second option, a galactic alliance would've formed immediately to wipe them out.

Until now, the Ravagers had been tolerated because they were disorganized and occasionally useful for dirty work. But if they became an actual threat?

They'd be eradicated without hesitation.

The Ravagers understood this. That's why they deliberately avoided escalating matters.

As Yondu continued to boast in the chat, Isaac watched him with a hint of admiration.

These chaotic madmen… weren't as brainless as they looked.

And as the fifth-place announcement ended, a new message from Marvel's List appeared:

[Announcement from Marvel's List: The top four strongest organizations will be revealed within the next 24 hours!]
