Chapter 154: Chapter 155: My Guardian Couldn't Even Block a Single Punch?

With the order given, two vampires immediately advanced toward Smith. Without a word, they reached out to grab him, planning to take him down.

Snap!

Snap!

Two soft sounds echoed as their hands landed on Smith's shoulders.

However, as they tried to exert force and drag him away, they were shocked to find that Smith didn't budge. It was as though he were a mountain—completely unmoving!

Even with their vampire strength, they couldn't shift him an inch.

"What?!"

The two vampires were stunned, their eyes wide in disbelief.

"Sorry about the rudeness, but things are a bit urgent," Smith said, flashing them a grin before casually waving his hand.

In an instant, the two vampires were sent flying backward, as if a massive invisible hand had thrown them.

"What?!"

Selene and the other vampires nearby gasped in shock.

The man they had barely taken seriously was that strong? And… he had powers?

Who was this guy? Was he from another faction?

Did Klaus send him?

In a split second, Selene's mind raced through countless possibilities.

But now wasn't the time to think about that. She immediately used her enhanced speed to charge toward Smith.

However, Smith simply waved his hand toward her, and a wave of invisible power struck her.

Just like that, Selene—along with the other vampires who had followed her—were all lifted into the air, completely helpless.

In front of Smith, even vampires were like children, powerless.

"When will I be as strong as Smith?"

Number Six sighed from the passenger seat of the car, resting her chin on the window as she watched Smith effortlessly defeat their opponents. She couldn't help but murmur in admiration.

Back when the Mogadorians destroyed their home, only the nine key figures managed to escape. Each of them had a Guardian. But due to the rush of their escape, the Guardians' strengths were all different.

Smith was the strongest of the Guardians.

According to Smith, Six's potential was immense, and when she fully matured, she would be even stronger than him.

Six dreamed of that day every day.

But there was no denying it—right now, she was still far behind Smith in terms of strength.

Boom!

Suddenly, Six heard the familiar sound of an explosive shockwave, like thunder.

At the same time, she felt an overwhelming burst of power that almost made her gasp for breath.

Before she could react, she saw a flash in front of her eyes, and suddenly, Smith was sent flying across the room like a ragdoll.

He flew over ten meters and slammed into a wall, causing it to crack and crumble.

And standing where Smith had once been was a young man with an Eastern face. It was clear that this was the one who had struck Smith down.

"Are you kidding me?" Six gaped in shock. "Smith couldn't even block a single punch?"

This was Smith, the one who had been nearly untouchable until now. To see him get knocked down like this was completely beyond belief.

Thud!

Thud!

As Smith was sent flying, the vampires he had been controlling dropped to the ground, quickly moving to the shadows for cover.

"Your Highness..." Selene said with an apologetic expression, looking at Alex, as if to explain herself.

"No need to explain," Alex said dismissively, waving his hand to stop her. "Just make sure everyone's alright."

With that, he walked over to where Smith lay.

"Cough cough!"

Smith groaned as he struggled to rise from the ground, still in disbelief. He had been knocked back? And without even having time to react?

How could this happen? Humans were supposed to be weak—how could there be one so powerful?

He looked up at Alex, who was slowly walking toward him. His mind was still trying to process the situation.

"Okay!"

Smith quickly brushed the dust off his clothes and stretched out his hands toward Alex. A massive surge of power flowed from him, attempting to force Alex back.

Clang!

Clang!

Crack!

The force was so great that the cars behind Alex were sent flying, one after another. Even the ground beneath his feet cracked under the pressure.

Yet Alex remained perfectly still. Not an ounce of force had affected him.

"How is this possible?!" Smith's face contorted in shock, unable to believe his own eyes.

He had gone all out, but his power didn't even make a dent in Alex?

This was impossible!

Shhh!

Ignoring Smith's telekinetic attack, Alex's eyes glowed bright, and twin beams of heat vision shot out toward him.

"Hah!"

Smith gritted his teeth and quickly retracted all of his telekinetic power, forming an invisible shield in front of him to block Alex's heat vision.

Though the barrier held, Smith was shaking, sweat pouring down his face. He gritted his teeth as the sheer force of the heat waves pushed against him.

Blocking this much power took every last ounce of his strength.

"What kind of monster is this?!" Smith thought, his face turning pale.

"Can you block it for long?" Alex's lips curled into a small, dangerous smile. "Five seconds? Ten seconds?"

Smith's eyes widened. Was Alex seriously asking that?

His body was on the brink of collapse, and even the few seconds of blocking the heat vision felt like an impossible task.

"Aah!"

Smith screamed, focusing all of his strength into the shield, desperate to maintain it. He gritted his teeth, trying to hold on.

For a brief moment, he managed to hold the line.

But on the eighth second, his strength gave way.

Boom!

With a grunt, Smith was sent flying again, crashing into the ground, his body covered in blood. He couldn't even get up.

"How is this possible?" Six whispered in disbelief, watching Smith crumple.

She rushed to his side, unable to contain her panic. "Smith!"
