Marvel: I Can Summon

Chapter 34: Chapter 34: Tony's Call

It had been three hours since Kyle fully absorbed Dumbledore's magical inheritance.

The wealth of knowledge was staggering—spells, potion-making, secrets of the magical world, and the study of magical creatures. It was like an entire magical encyclopedia had been downloaded into his mind.

The spells in Dumbledore's repertoire weren't known for raw destructive power like summoning meteorites or causing earthquakes. However, their utility and versatility were unparalleled. Spells like healing charms, the Imperius Curse, duplication spells, and the Traceless Stretching Charm all had immense potential.

Kyle found himself particularly intrigued by the Traceless Stretching Charm. He recalled Newt Scamander's suitcase, which used this charm to contain a space large enough to hold a region comparable to Yellowstone National Park—nearly 10,000 square kilometers.

Beyond knowledge, Kyle noticed a peculiar energy within himself: magic. The summoning ritual had bestowed him with Dumbledore's peak-level magical reserves. Moreover, to accommodate such power, the summoning process had strengthened Kyle's soul toughness and spiritual strength.

As a bonus, his Psychokinesis had been significantly enhanced. Previously capable of lifting 500 tons, his mental prowess had now tripled to 1,500 tons.

"Wingardium Leviosa," Kyle murmured, gesturing with his hand.

A nearby table rose smoothly into the air.

Kyle frowned slightly. Wandless casting was effective, but it consumed about three times more magic compared to casting with a wand. For basic spells like levitation or unlocking, this wasn't an issue. However, high-level spells like the Fiendfyre Curse or the Killing Curse without a wand could inflict severe damage on the caster's body.

For example, using the Killing Curse without a wand would result in the caster's arm being crippled.

Kyle realized that acquiring a wand was essential. The inherited knowledge detailed the process of wand-making, but the challenge lay in obtaining the core materials, which required components from magical creatures.

In Harry Potter's world, the most effective wand cores were unicorn hair, dragon heartstring, and phoenix feathers. Unfortunately, none of these magical creatures existed on Earth.

"Kamar-Taj might have what I need," Kyle mused. "If all else fails, I'll just track down Strange. Ancient One would surely intervene then."

For the next two months, Kyle focused on experimenting with wand creation. He tried countless materials—feathers, animal nerves, even synthetic substitutes—but none were suitable.

Just as he was contemplating more drastic measures, his phone buzzed.

"Hey, Kyle. Wanda and Pietro's suits are ready. Come by and pick them up," Tony's voice crackled through the line.

"Got it. Be there in a second."

Kyle teleported instantly, appearing in Tony's lab thousands of kilometers away.

"Hi, Tony," Kyle greeted, casually stepping forward.

Tony glanced at his phone, still mid-call, then looked at Kyle. "Really? You couldn't even hang up before teleporting?"

Kyle chuckled. "Where are the suits?"

Tony gestured toward a nearby table. "Right there. The red one's for Wanda, the blue one's for Pietro. Try it on."

Kyle picked up Pietro's blue suit and slipped it on.

"Press the button on the right side of your torso," Tony instructed.

Kyle complied, and within seconds, the suit reassembled itself, covering him from neck to ankle. He moved around, testing its flexibility.

"Impressive. It's lightweight and doesn't restrict movement," Kyle remarked.

Tony smirked. "Per your request, I didn't include any weapon systems. But rest assured, its defensive capabilities are top-notch."

"That's perfect. Wanda and Pietro don't need to fight on the front lines," Kyle said, satisfied. He reverted the suit to its compact form and stored both suits in his spatial storage.

"Thanks, Tony. I'll head back now. Let me treat you to dinner sometime."

Kyle was about to teleport away when Tony stopped him.

"Wait, Kyle," Tony called out, his tone unusually serious.

Kyle paused. "What's up?"

Tony hesitated for a moment before saying, "If… I mean, if something ever happens to me… can you look after Pepper?"

Kyle frowned but nodded firmly. "You're not going anywhere, Tony. But if it ever comes to that, you have my word."

Tony's lips curled into a faint smile, though the worry in his eyes remained.

Kyle said no more, teleporting away. A storm was brewing, and both men could feel it in their bones.
