Chapter 47: (Spectacular night.)
Chapter forty seven:
Later on in the night, we walked along the empty road in front of the theater. The kids walked ahead of us as Pietro Maximoff spoke to me.
"This is lame. I can't believe you're making them return the candy." Said Pietro Maximoff.
"I can't believe what a bad influence you are." I replied.
"Who peed in your cheerios?" Said Pietro Maximoff.
"Peed in your cheerios?" Replied Vision.
"Look, I'm just trying to do my part, okay? Come to down unexpectedly, create tension with the brother in law, stir trouble with the rugrats, and ultimately give you grief. I mean, that's what you wanted, isn't it?" Said Pietro Maximoff.
"What happened to your accent?" I replied.
"What happened to yours?" Said Pietro Maximoff.
Vision just stared at me. He didn't remember me having a accent.
"Everything's fuzzy. I got shot like a chump on the street for no reason at all and the next thing I know, I heard you calling me." Replied Pietro Maximoff.
"What? You were shot?" Said Vision.
Before he could get a explanation, my son's arrived from their recent candy trek.
"They've got full size candy bars a few blocks up. dad, can we go?" Replied Tommy Maximoff.
Before I could reply, Tommy used his speed to dash over to the house and get the candy.
"Next stop, cavity town." Said Tommy Maximoff.
"Right on. You got super speed!" Replied Pietro Maximoff.
"If you're gonna break the sound barrier, please take you Billy with you." I said.
"Really?" Replied Tommy Maximoff.
"Yeah, just be careful." I said.
"No need to worry. I'll go with the kids. Gotta make sure that they know with great power comes great." Replied Vision.
"Management and conduct?" Said Billy Maximoff.
"Yeah... Bet you can't beat me." Replied Vision.
"Already did." Said Tommy Maximoff as he grabbed Billy and ran away.
Vision laughed as he also ran away. The boys and Vision had a great time walking around the pumpkin festival and receiving treats from the boot up. Tommy unwrapped a piece of candy and popped it in his mouth.
"Wow. That's the fifth candy I've seen you eat." Said Billy Maximoff.
"You've been keeping count?" Replied Tommy Maximoff.
"Somebody is going to get cavities." Said Vision.
"Unlike Tommy, I brush my teeth." Replied Billy Maximoff.
"Hey!" Said Tommy Maximoff.
Vision just laughed before he patted them on the back.
Billy Maximoff then stood where he was, trying to focus on what he was hearing. He heard the screams in his head, and he knew it was either coming from inside or close to the town.
Billy then heard the screams again, and that's when he knew it was Vision.
"Tommy it's Vision!" Said Billy Maximoff.
"What?" Replied Tommy Maximoff.
"We have to tell mom!" Said Billy Maximoff before he started to run away.
"Dad! Dad!" They shouted as they saw me sitting with Pietro Maximoff on a block of hay. I then got up to see what the problem was.
"What? What is it?" I said.
"I heard Vision in my head. He's in trouble. I don't understand. What's happening to me?" Replied Billy Maximoff.
"Where is he? Where's Vision?" I said.
"Hey, don't sweat it, sis. It's not like he can die twice." Replied Pietro Maximoff.
My eyes then glowed red as I turned back around and sent Pietro Maximoff across the street with a blast of my red chaos magic.l
"Billy. I need you to focus." I said.
"I see these. Guns... Soldiers... They think that he is dying." Replied Billy Maximoff as he saw flashes of Vision disintegrating.
In a instant, I channeled my red chaos magic and used it to freeze the people around me. The only people who weren't was my kids.
"Dad?" Said Tommy Maximoff.
I didn't respond, as I closed my eyes and exerted a immense amount of red chaos magic that engulfed Westview.
The dome surrounded Westview and began to expand, which fortunately saved Vision from completely being torn apart. He laid unconscious on the grass. The hex engulfed the S. W. O. R. D base and the unlucky agents outside of the Westview, turning them into clowns and other sideshow characters. The dome kept going for miles, making the hex even larger.
Once the deed was done, I opened my eyes. They still glowed red, but slowly went back to normal.
