After a long process, Tony managed to remove the Extremis virus from Pepper. Goku knew he had to give them space, so he just teleported to his room.

When he arrived, he sensed that someone was in the apartment, and he also noticed that it was dark. So when he turned on the lights, he saw him. It was Nick Fury.

"Hello, Goku. My name is Nick Fury, and I'm here because of what you told my agent about the... 'disturbances,'" Fury said with his imposing posture.

Goku just gave a small, arrogant smile and emitted his dark aura. Turning slowly, his smile widened.

"Disturbances? I would say I am eliminating the imperfections of this world," said Goku.

"Call it what you will. What I know is that you have a power that could be... useful."

"Useful for what? For your 'Avengers'? I've seen your heroes. They're weak, their ideals are a sham," Black replied contemptuously.

"Don't underestimate humanity's determination. And don't underestimate what we can do when we work together. We need someone with your strength. There are greater threats than you can imagine," Fury said.

"Threats? Maybe you see it that way, but to me they're just enemies who will help me become stronger," Goku replied.

"I know that we humans are not that strong, but we will still protect the planet. But it would be much easier with you."

"Your arrogance is as annoying as everyone else's. Do you think you can control me and give me orders, mortal?" Goku said.

"It's not about control. Think of the chaos you could prevent by using your power to avert disasters on the planet," Fury said.

Black crossed his arms, thoughtful for a moment, though his expression remained one of superiority.

"Interesting proposal, mortal. But my destiny is already set. And it doesn't include playing 'hero' with a bunch of weak humans," Black said.

Black throws a small sphere of dark energy that hits near Fury, not hitting him directly, but causing the ground to crack.

"My offer still stands. When you get tired of playing god, or when you realize there are battles you can't win alone, you know where to find us," Fury said, unperturbed by the previous exchange.

He got up from his seat and left without another word. Goku stood there for a moment until he regained his sense of logic.

"Why did I act more like Black than myself?" he thought to himself.

"System, use the Random Skill card."
