MAFIA : I will rise to the top

We escaped from there and came to the surface but as soon as we came out of alley we saw Don there standing with 5 guards

" Boys do you really think you can escape from me , you also thought you could kill me in little italy ha haha "

" You both disappointed me , especially you Tommy I told you you be dead if you cross me "

My mind descended in despair was there really no way then surrendering to police, now what will happen to my family nonono i can't allow it

I spoke

" Boss , we came here to talk to you in private we wanted to clear up misunderstanding between us boss please for the sake of all these years "

He replied

" Tom listen in this line you are dead the moment you cross someone you should not have , don't worry i will not kill Sarah and Luigi "

" I will give you both a quick death and will also personally take care of Sarah tom that's the least i could do for all these years "

I fell in despair I was regretting it , i underestimated salieri I should have been more careful it is not a damn game

Gun shot rang from behind salieri and it was none other than Luigi who helped us

Both me and paulie took advantage of chaos and took cover

Gunshots continued in little italy , we took out 4 of salieri men and paulie went back in to alley to clear out rear and I stayed in front to distract salieri

Then I took out a small whiskey bottle which was in my pocket , it was a mystery as Tommy stopped drinking long ago but still I used it

I took out a piece of cloth and stuffed into mouth of the bottle and used a lighter to set it on fire and threw into salieri cover

" Aah "

Scream came out as soon as i threw the bottle

Salieri came out of cover screaming , he was covered in blood and his coat was covered in fire which he was exhausting by rolling on the ground

Fire exhausted but left deep marks on salieri clothes i went near him and aimed my gun at him he said

" Tommy , don't make a mistake you can't made , the commission would find you and destroy you "

" You think you can end all this by killing me you wolf , i raised you for 8 years you were just a damn cabbies rotting i. This city , i give you wine , woman and money i kept you on top and this is what you give me cough cough ..."

" Boss , you grew careless and sonner or later you would have fell along with us due to your arrogance and carelessness"

" Bang "

I shotted salieri in the head and then saw lifeless body of Luigi with a shotgun in his hand resting against the wall

I came near and close his eyes and said

" Luigi I will take care of your daughter now you can rest in peace "

I cheked my watch and found out only 5 minutes are left the earlier chaos made the streets empty and also made all salieri members withdrew in the restaurant

Paulie already made sure ralphie couldn't come to cafe by scam calling him to triads land

I ran through alleys when I heard police sirens coming to my location

I was still running and then I found a pawn shop and used that as a temporary hideout

A loud bang echoed throught the streets of little italy and if you look from outside you can see yellow flame rising in the sky , this incident was too big that it will alert half of the lost heaven

I took advantage of further chaos and picked up a car and ran away

While I was in my car and going to my home

The system message came

I looked at the screen but was confused what background will be edited like what will it declare Tommy a lost Italian family heir huh well i think should use it

Well all options are great like first one could get me connections but i ain't interested in it ,

Second one could give me great knowledge which can be helpful if I want to become a scientist and third could give me dark connection and some great skills

First is cancelled for me already , now between second and third you see agent skills can't help protect my family instead will put them in more danger

Second is helpful and maybe I can open a corporation with my knowledge like how howard stark took stark industries to the top from his knowledge in technology

I selected second option and suddenly I felt a huge ringing sound and boom a lot of info came into my mind

I halted my car in the middle of the road because of it and then came car honk and a fucking loser shouting

" Hey are you fucking drunk in broad daylight huh ...."

My new knowledge helped me stay calm and behave more elegantly so i just ignored him and drove away

Soon i came near my street but this time I was feeling guilty because they nearly got hurt because of my recklessness so I swore that I will never let it happen again

Afterall a true man learn from his mistakes

I stopped my car and came to the door of my house and knocked

Sarah opened the door soon and hugged me in relief and said

" You were gone for 12 hours Tommy do you know how worried I was "

Well i did not hide it and told the truth and also about Luigi death

She cried and was angry for my recklessness too but I was able to calm her down by apologising to her

After 1 hour the whole affair was settled and now I was there sitting in the chair in the dinning table reading newspaper and thinking about future

I was looking forward to live my life to the fullest and now my next target is Empire bay
