LUNA'S RETRIBUTION

Malina POV 

"Woah! Woah!!, where go you think you are touching", I said as I pushed the king back. 

"Just because you are the king doesn't mean you can get all touchy with me", I said as I walk out of the room as he stood still. 

'Did you feel it Malina, I felt different when he touched you, that spark lit for a moment'. She said and I rolled my eyes. 

'Don't get started Ashley', I said to Ashley, just to suppress voice and thought because I know where she was going exactly. 

Truth be told, for a moment when he held me, I felt this weird sensation in my body, this is the first time it has happened since Kane but while he held me, its just felt right, like I belonged there with him. 

Wait!, what the hell is going on with my thought, I can't just feel nice just because a random king held me in his arms. Maybe its because he is a king, and just like every she-wolf, my wolf craves power, that's definitely the answer, I thought to myself. 

"Malina, aren't you coming". Gerald called. 

Malina stop thinking about all this nonsense, just focus on the goal, keep offending the rogues till you find the one that killed your parent. 

I thought to myself and was about to move ahead when King Peter hands touched mine, send shivers down my spine once again. 

Seeing how he walked past me without looking back or stopping, I shrugged. Maybe what happened was just an accident and nothing more. 

"Will twenty people be enough?". Uncle Francis asked me and I nodded. 

"Let's go, there is no time to waste", I said to the team and they looked at me before nodding. 

"Malina, do you want me to come with you", I heard uncle Francis say. 

"Don't worry uncle, just sit tight and see what your children can do", I said with a reassuring smile and he smiled back.

"Team, let's go", I saod before heading for the forest. 

"Wait, you're kidding me right?, you expect us to walk from here to Cantele right", a guy on the team questioned. 

"Walk, who said you you were walking to Cantele?, we are running to Cantele and its just a 15km distance, you all are trained wolves right?, I don't see any problem with my plan", I said and headed into the forest. 

"But won't they see us coming if we move in a group of twenty", another guy asked. 

"That's why not all of you are coming with me. Like spies I will divide the group into three and thus we will surround them. 

"And one more thing, I know all of you are loyal to the king and its no new thing that your king and I are against each other in this case, so if any of you are planning to ruin my plan or go behind my back, I will kill you without thinking twice. I'm not afraid of your king. I'm not afraid of death or the devil, let alone a mortal, so think twice before making any stupid decision". I said and turned to move and I was standing face to face with the king. 

"So you are not afraid of me?", the king asked as he stepped closer to me and I pressed my lips in a thin line while looking at him straight in his eyes. 

"Of course not, didnt you know by now", I asked and he smirked. 

"Oh don't worry, I caught up alot, more than you can ever think", he said and bent down, taking a whiff of my scent, his beautiful eyes, making me gulp for a reason as I looked at him observantly, his lips only a few inches from mine. 

"Anyways I've come to tell you guys that despite what has happened between me and miss Malina, you should all listen to her, she's your leader and therefore y'all should be loyal" He said before he bent down and kissed my ear, making me go stiff as I looked at him shocked. 

"I wish you the best Mal,. This is the first time I am intrigued by something and I would love to see it to the end. Maybe I will reward you with the position of being my main spy if you are that great at finding information". He said and I scoffed. 

"Who want your fuzzy position. I am just helping the council out because of Gerald and besides its fun killing rogues and ruining their activities", I said and left with the team. 

"Umm leader everyone is changing into their wolf form, won't you do the same?". A guy asked and I smiled before shaking my head. 

"No I won't, I've trained my self to run long distance. Besides, I'm not in a hurry". I said as I saw everyone changing into their wolf form. 

'I just hope they don't catch me in one of these numerous lie I've told', I said to ashley and she hummed. 

'Well I don't see how that is a lie, you have trained yourself to run long distance and now you are good at fighting without transforming, so its a good thing'. Ashley said cheerfully and I rolled my eyes happily. 

Running along with the guys and I stopped, making them stop too. 

"You, the two near that tree, and you stop here and spread", I ordered and they moved simultaneously, I asked the other wolves to move in different direction before finally stopping. 

"Listen carefully y'all, Cantele lake is 3 kilometers ahead and its night, the perfect time for wolves to catch any scent. We can't let them notice us until its the right time to take them out". I said through the mind link. 

"Leader behind you", one of the wolf watching my back said. 

I turned back and saw four rogues bearing their fangs and claws ready for a fight. Before they could start the fight and howl to the other rogues, I moved fast and kept a distance between their head and necks, painting my skin with a new color. If those rogues are any good, they should smell the blood real soon. 

"Ho--how the hell did you do that", the wolf beside me asked with horror written on his face. 

About to respond to the guy on the team, four more rogues appeared out of nowhere, I wanted to send them to their graves but I couldn't, the guy on the team who saw my movement few minutes ago is still shaking. 

I took a few steps forward and I kept looking at them. This is something that happened few weeks ago, if I concentrate hard enough, I'm able to suppress other wolfs anger. 

"If you are going to come at me, then I will have to kill you and let me tell you I'm a nasty killer. Why don't you leave quitely and I promise you I won't harm you. Don't snitch on us and tell your boss, and forget all you saw here and leave", I said to the rogues and glowed my eyes to show the difference In our power and they left shivering. 

"Woah!, what in the actual hell was that, did you just scare the rogues into leaving?"

"I'm pretty sure she's part of them". 

"I'm informing the king about this". 

I hear them whisper behind me and I stopped in my tracks noticing how stupid I am for letting the rogues go. 

However is there really an excuse to cover up why a bunch of rogues just left calmly. 

Wait, they have stopped talking, maybe they are not think about it anymore. 

"Did you just ask a bunch of jerks to leave and they left like puppies?", I heard a deep familiar voice and the hair on my skin stood up as I felt his presense behind me. 

So this is why everyone kept quite. 

"Well aren't they some dirty puppies?, I asked and he smiled coldly at me before gripping my chin. 

"Even I know that sweetheart. I want to know why those puppies left without saying a word", He said and I smirked. 

"That's because I'm a really nasty killer with a reputation honey", I deliberately used the word honey since he called me sweetheart. 

"I've only known you for just 2 hours yet you defy me more than any one I've known my whole life but yet I'm intrigued by what you do", he said and I scoffed. 

"Well I'm honored but I remember clearly that we both went on different mission. So what are yiu doing here Mr. Dominic", I said and others around me gasped. 

"Mr. Dominic, I like the sound of that, however I word love it more when you scream that word for me", he said in my ears before winking at me and standing straight while I froze. 

Did he just say what I think he said, I though be fore looking at him accusingly but I was met with a serious look on his face, I sighed angrily keeping the matter aside. 

I will talk about this later, what is important now is to catch me a rogue boss and get some information.
