Chapter 152: Lights,Camera & Dior
The sound of camera shutters clicking, stylists rushing, and the faint smell of expensive perfume filled the air. Aurora stepped onto the white studio set in an elegant, custom-made Dior silk gown. Her hair was pulled into a sleek bun, her skin glowing like diamonds under the soft light, and her eyes radiated a confidence that silenced the entire room.
Today marked the beginning of a new chapter her first day on the Dior "Essence of Eternity" campaign. Nicole Miller, the brand's face for the past two years, sat across the studio in a crimson robe, legs crossed, barking at her makeup artist. "I said contour lightly, not cake me. Ugh! Is that even real Chanel?"
Aurora exchanged glances with her stylist, who stifled a laugh. "Ignore her," she whispered. "You're the real star."
"I know," Aurora said calmly, applying a soft coat of Dior lip gloss. "Let's do this."
The director approached her with a script and a warm handshake. "Aurora, we're thrilled to have you. Dior's creative team saw your last fashion campaign and instantly knew you were perfect." Aurora smiled graciously. "It's an honor. I'll give it my all."
As the cameras rolled, Aurora posed with grace and poise. The wind machine caught her flowing gown just right. She spritzed the new Dior Essence of Eternity perfume on her neck, closed her eyes, and whispered the campaign tagline: "Timeless… like me."
Everyone in the studio clapped. Even Nicole, begrudgingly. "You're good," she admitted as Aurora passed her in the hallway. "But let's see how long you last in this world." Aurora smiled sweetly. "With all due respect, darling… I'm not here to last. I'm here to own it."
Meanwhile…
Back at the mansion, Gianna stood nervously outside Aurora's private glam suite, dressed in a cream co-ord set and heels that were clearly pinching her feet. She was excited no, determined to step into the world she had only admired from afar.
Aurora's assistant, Emily, smiled at her. "You ready, Miss Gianna? "As ready as I'll ever be," she replied, adjusting her sunglasses. "Aurora promised I could learn. I'm going to make sure I do." Emily handed her a clipboard. "You'll be shadowing me and our booking coordinator. First stop runway etiquette, posing sessions, and casting prep. The work begins today."
Later that day…
After hours of shooting, brand meetings, and an unexpected impromptu press interview, Aurora finally stepped out of the studio to breathe.
Ring Ring.
Her phone buzzed. Mark.
She picked up with a tired but excited smile.
"Congratulations, Peach," he said warmly. "I just got off the phone with your agent. Dior officially signed you for the global campaign. You did it."
Aurora's eyes welled with happy tears. "Really? Mark this is insane. This is everything."I'm so proud of you," his voice deepened. "And so is everyone here. I just wish I could kiss you right now. "I'll be home soon," she whispered. "But thank you, Mark. For believing in me when I didn't even believe in myself." I always will. Go shine, Mrs. Wilson."
Back at the glam suite…
Gianna was mid-walk practice in heels when Aurora returned. "Cousin!" Gianna rushed over, practically glowing. "How was it? Tell me everything! "I'll tell you on the drive home," Aurora said, hugging her. "But first thing's first go soak your feet. Those shoes are killing you."
Gianna winced. "You noticed?"
I'm a model, sweetheart. I notice everything."
