Love in the virtual air

I watched through the window as the sun rose, It's a really beautiful sight for the eyes. I wasn't able to get any sleep last night because my body is not used to sleeping in places like this. Though, I felt really tired, I couldn't sleep. I guess I'll just wait for the janitors to arrive.

After a really long wait, the doors finally opened. Without waiting for even a nano second, I dashed out the door. I looked really tired and my body felt so weak. My legs trembled as I walked through the streets. I could notice people stare at me and gossip but I didn't really care, all I thought about was my bed and food. Everyone left what they were doing and looked at me. I wished the floor could just open and swallow me, I tried covering my face when someone pulled me into a car. I looked to the side and saw Jiang Guangyu staring at me.

"What happened?" He asked but I remained silent, gazing out the window, causing him to repeatedly look over at me. I felt so refreshed as the gentle wind caressed my skin, the stress of the day seemed to melt away. Before I knew it, I had dozed off.

I gently opened my eyes to find myself in a spacious room with a huge bed which I laid on and a window that let sunlight in. I pressed my back on the sturdy bed frame and let my eyes wonder around. The room was fabulously decorated, with a desk, a book shelf and comfortable sofas. It scents like orange and honey with a little touch of raspberry's and I couldn't help but salivate for food.

Jiang guangyu walked into the room with a tray of delicious looking foods. It's as if he knows what my stomach wants. He handed it over to me with a half-smile on his face and I found myself collecting it and shove it into my mouth. How do desperate I look right now?

"Slow down, beautiful" He teased as he gave me a glass of water. I gladly took it and gulped it down my throat.

"Thanks!" I appreciated once I was done eating.

"Ok! Now that you're done. Remember our previous meeting? Have you made up your mind"

"No, I don't" I lied. I actually know what he's talking about but I can't really give him an answer now. "I-I have to get to work, bye".

I stood up from the bed and turned to make a quick exit, he quickly reached out and grasped my wrist, his fingers firmly wrapping around them. In one move, he pinned me against the wall, his chest inches from mine. I felt my heart race as I gazed up at him, his almond eyes bored into mine.

He leaned in and I could feel his warm breath on my ear which sent shivers down my spine as he whispers a soft phrase into my ears.

"You are not going anywhere till you give me an answer" He smirked as he pulled away. "Why are you sweating" He asked in a high tone clearing the tension in the air and I was snapped back to reality.

"N-No, I'm not. T-The room is hot" I stuttered as I walked forward and backward as I used my hand to fan my face trying to make sure he doesn't notice how awkward I felt.

"The AC is on; Do you have a fever? But if you insist let's go out, maybe you'll cool down". He said pointing to the ac so I just smiled awkwardly.

"N-no, I'll go…" I was about to decline when he held my hands and looked into my eyes. He was doing it again.

"Keep your answer to yourself, I insist we go out and you must comply." He whispered leaving me dumbfounded.

He tucked me into the passenger's seat and he drove off. I couldn't stop replaying events that happened few minutes ago. His beautiful almond eyes are the only thing that captivates me. I just wanted to take one last glance at him so I turned to his direction. He focused so well on driving and I felt something was missing.

"Hey! Why are you not wearing your cap and nose mask" I asked, but he shook his head signalling a 'no'. I won't take no for an answer. "Stop the car. Stop it now!" I shouted. I feel he was frightened a bit because of the abrupt way he stopped it.

"What, beautiful!" He asked and I know he's trying to control his temper.

"Wear your cap and nose mask"

"Why! you don't want anyone seeing my handsome face" He asked as he moved closer to my face.

"N-no. I just don't want to summon a crowd of people and reporters. And also, your car is too flashy so let's walk instead" I insisted and to my surprise, he did just that.

Now we were walking on the streets and it wasn't that bad. The only problem was our legs. We aren't camels that can travel a far distance without getting tired.

"Ok! I think we've walked enough and enjoyed cool breeze. Let's go back" he said trying to catch his breath as he crouched down so I did the same.

"No, we are just getting started, since we've gone this far, let's just go to the coffee shop then the amusement park. And you need to try street foods." I don't know why I suddenly feel at ease talking to him. He stood up straight before nodding.

"Fine! Let's go"

I was actually having fun with Jiang guangyu. I laughed a lot because he made stupid jokes and for the first time I did not think about Qin Liang. I never imagined I could have so much fun with a celebrity. Maybe he's not that bad after all.

"The amusement park! Let's go there; it's been so long" I cheerfully said as we approached the park but he just stared blanky at me. "You've never been to an amusement park?"

"Well…Since I was a child, my father never allowed me to go out. During field trips in school, he always took me to his office. So, I never had the chance to go to an amusement park" He explained. All I could feel was pity and tears filled my eyes threatening to roll down. Even celebrities suffer so much emotionally.

"Sorry! Let's go have some fun then" I sniffed in as we both made our way into the park.

We tried the roller coaster which I mostly get dizzy on but Jiang Guangyu kept a straight face throughout the ride, then we went on the Ferris wheel and did Virtual reality. We got some snacks and beverages before watching the fireworks display.

"Beautiful, right?" I whispered captivated by the scene as fire works lit up the sky. "Should we go to the arcade next?".

"No! Its late already. Anyways, have you gotten an answer?" He asked turning to me.

"I have to say 'yes' anyways if I don't wanna get fired" I accepted. I have to do this anyways; I can't lose my job. And fake dating Jiang Guangyu won't be that bad, would it?

"So…is that a 'yes'?" he curiously asked so I nodded.

He gave me a half smile which didn't seem right. He didn't look as happy as before.

"Should we go home?" I said breaking the silence as soon as the fireworks stopped.

"We?" He jokingly questioned, raising his eyebrows, So I hit him on the shoulder.

"I mean… walk me home."

"No! I can't walk again. I'll drive you home instead"

We soon got to the place Jiang Guangyu parked his car. Then he drove me home. I prepared myself for my mum's shout as I opened the door.

"Xiao Yue! Where have you been, why didn't you come home last night, what happened to you" Immediately I stepped into the house she was already waiting at the door and bombarded me with questions.

"Mom, calm down. I just worked overtime" I lied.

"Stop lying to me! I saw the article and you did not also go to work today, Rui Bei and Yi Xi called to ask of you". Argg!! Those fools.

"Sorry, I'll explain later. Can we eat dinner first" I said trying to make her feel better. She scoffed and brought some foods to the dinner table so we sat to eat.

"Now, explain!" She said as she crossed her arms waiting for me to speak.

"OK, I…" Before I could continue what, I was saying mums phone rang on the table. I peeked at the phone to see who was calling and she did the same. For some reasons the person who called was 'Husband' with an angry faced emoji.

"Is it dad?" I asked. Suddenly, her mood changed and you could see worry etched in her eyes. "That's dad, right".

She hit the table and immediately left to her room. I didn't really feel bad because she's always like that whenever I talk about dad.

I went back to my room after doing the kitchen duties and checked if the rumours of me and Jiang guangyu had gone down but it was the other way round. There was an article of what happened this morning. I decided to scroll up and see some comment and the comments shocked me; 'Jiang guangyu don't do this to Jenna' and more of this.

Oh! Jenna, i totally forgot about her!
