Let's Train Heroine

Chapter 263: Heroine On the Move

The gentle clink of teacups filled the room as Maris and Lucan sat in comfortable silence. Maris watched Lucan closely as he flipped through the pages of a thick, leather-bound book about regeneration magic. His brow furrowed slightly in concentration, his fingers tracing the words as he absorbed the intricate details of limb regeneration spells.

Lucan's calm and studious demeanor always fascinated her, and she found herself feeling content just sitting beside him.

She loved watching him focus. His quiet strength, his intelligence, and his unshakable calmness—it was part of what drew her to him so deeply. She took a slow sip of her tea, savoring the warmth and sweetness, but her eyes never left him.

Lucan paused for a moment, flipping another page as he leaned closer to the text. He murmured to himself, considering the theories and methods described.

Maris, meanwhile, felt a shift in the air. Her smile faded as an unsettling feeling crept over her, her connection to the scan magic she cast in entire region stirring. Her magic thrummed with sudden intensity. She closed her eyes for a moment, reaching out with her senses, and then her heart froze.

She could sense the unmistakable presence of four powerful beings—Nyx, Lilith, Iris, and Bing—each splitting off in different directions, spreading chaos and death among human cities.

"Lucan-sama," Maris said, her voice trembling as she rose to her feet. Her heart pounded in her chest, anxiety overwhelming her. "Nyx, Lilith, Iris, and Bing... They've all gone separate ways. They're attacking human settlements!"

Lucan remained calm, his eyes still scanning the pages of the book for a moment before he looked up at her. There was no urgency in his expression, only a calm, calculating demeanor. "I see."

Maris stared at him, her hands clenched into fists. "We need to do something! I can't just sit here while they're slaughtering innocent people!"

Lucan closed his book and placed it on the table beside him, taking a moment to stretch his arms. "Relax, Maris," he said, his tone measured. "Panicking won't solve anything. Think clearly."

"I am thinking clearly," she retorted, her voice rising. "We can't let them destroy everything."

"I know," Lucan replied, his voice soothing yet firm. "You'll head straight to Nyx. She's the most dangerous of the four, and it's crucial we eliminate her first. I'll handle the Bing. Elysia and Liora will take care of Lilith and Iris."

Maris hesitated, her mind racing. "But—"

"No buts," Lucan interrupted, rising to his feet. "You're the strongest among us, Maris. You're the only one who can take down Nyx. Send a message to Elysia and Liora with your magic. Let them know what's happening, and then go."

She took a deep breath, letting his words sink in. Slowly, she nodded. Lucan was right—there was no time to waste. With a wave of her hand, she sent a magical pulse out, contacting Elysia and Liora with the information. Then, without another word, she turned and left, her heart set on her mission to defeat Nyx.

Lucan stood up, stretching once more before heading out. His mind was sharp, his body relaxed. He would deal with Bing first. Let's hope he doesn't have to use Evil Magic power, but if he think about it then he really doesn't need to use Evil Magic ability since his other ability already improved at level where he might able to kill Bing.

The gentle glow of light surrounded Fairy Queen Elysia as she focused intently on mending the Spirit World, which had been ravaged by her fierce battle with Lilith. Delicate tendrils of magic flowed from her fingertips, weaving through the broken landscapes, healing the scars left in the wake of their confrontation.

Flowers bloomed where there had once been only destruction, and vibrant green grass spread across the once-barren ground. She poured her heart into the restoration, feeling the Spirit Realm's pulse beneath her feet, urging her on.

As she worked, she found solace in the rhythm of creation. Each patch of land she healed reminded her of her duty to protect the Spirit World and its inhabitants. But just as she was about to summon another wave of restorative magic, a sudden surge of energy rippled through her. Maris's voice echoed in her mind, urgent and filled with the weight of revelation.

Elysia, Nyx and her allies have split into four directions and are attacking the human population. You must stop Lilith!

Elysia's eyes shine. Lilith had escaped her grasp once before, but this time, she would not allow it to happen again. Gathering her resolve, she halted her repairing work and took a deep breath, feeling the air shift around her as she steeled herself for the confrontation that awaited.

"I will seal Lilith for eternity," she murmured to herself, determination coursing through her veins. With a final glance at the areas she had already restored, she summoned her magic and took off toward the location where she sensed Lilith's presence.

In a modest house filled with soft light and memories, Liora sat alone, surrounded by pictures of majestic phoenixes. She lingered over a particular image of a radiant phoenix soaring against a sunset, its wings spread wide in a vibrant display of colors. That phoenix had been dear to her—an embodiment of hope and beauty.

But that hope had been snuffed out during the chaotic assault led by Nyx and Lilith, who had left devastation in their wake.

The images around her were painful reminders of the lives lost: not just the phoenix she mourned, but also the King and Queen of the Phoenix realm, and over half of their population. Liora's heart ached with grief and anger. She felt hollow yet filled with a burning desire for revenge.

They had taken everything from her, and she swore that one day she would make them pay, even if it meant sacrificing her own soul.

As she clutched the picture, her resolve solidified. The time for vengeance was near. Just then, a surge of energy interrupted her dark thoughts—Maris's message reached her.

Liora, listen closely. The Nyx and others are on the move. I will deal with Nyx, and I need you to handle Iris and others will handle other.

For a moment, Liora was stunned into silence. Her heart raced with disbelief and excitement. "Iris... the Holy Phoenix who betrayed us…" she whispered, feeling both hatred and a strange sense of anticipation. She laughed—a sharp, cold sound that echoed in the empty room.

Without wasting another moment, Liora stood, her determination igniting her spirit. She stepped outside, her wings unfurling behind her, shimmering in the sunlight. The air was charged with a palpable energy as she prepared to confront her enemies. This was her chance, and she would not let it slip away.

"Let's see if you're as holy as they say," she whispered, her eyes narrowing with focus. With a powerful beat of her wings, she took off into the sky, heading toward the location Maris had indicated.

As Liora soared through the air, the landscape below blurred past her, the memories of her fallen kin fueling her resolve. She would find Iris. Read the latest on empire
