HeroCity's surveillance cameras kept recording.The chaos had finally begun to fade.

Between crumbling buildings and devastated streets, Kelvin Nox walked calmly, his katana resting on his shoulder.

Kelvin (murmuring):"Was that all?"

He slashed the air.The last remaining alien beast disintegrated into pure darkness.

From the rubble, Zen, Ryu, Abby, Annie, and Kane gathered behind him, staring at the wreckage in awe.

Ryu (panting):"Dad... where are those Heralds now?"

Kelvin's face darkened slightly. He scanned the horizon and sighed.

Kelvin:"They're gone.But... they took half the city with them."

His tone was meant to be serious—But it came off almost comedic.

Kelvin (suspicious):"Okay, where's Darius?Anyone seen that idiot?"

Abby raised her hand, not missing a beat.

Abby:"Sensei Kelvin... he said he had to finish the battle quickly.Final episode of Saint Godbreaker."

Kelvin:"WHAT?!"

Kelvin (fuming):"He left a bunch of teenagers to clean up aliens?!"

Ryu:"C'mon, Dad... you know how Uncle Darius is."

Kelvin reached out his hand.

Kelvin:"Give me your phone."

Ryu handed it over without question.Kelvin dialed furiously.

Darius answered. Cheerful as ever.

Darius:"Yo! Ryu! Did you guys beat the monsters?"

Kelvin (yelling on speaker):"DARIUS, YOU IDIOT!ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR MIND?!"

Darius:"Chill, man... I wiped out half of them.And dude—it's the finale of Saint Godbreaker! It's peak cinema..."

Before Kelvin could explode further, another voice joined in—Smooth. Arrogant. Deadpan.

Lorien (grabbing the phone):"Darius, that's unacceptable."

A pause.

Lorien:"...but what's worse is you watching it without me."

Kelvin (losing it):"YOU'RE BOTH INSANE!WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU PEOPLE?!"

Lorien (shrugging):"Relax, Kelvin.That show's way better than your little book... Art of War, or whatever."

The young heroes, listening to the call, stood speechless.

Kane (whispering):"How... did these guys make it to the top?"

Dante (sighing):"This is what happens when you mix Uncle Darius, my dad, and your dad.The Three Idiots of HeroCity."

They burst out laughing.

Darius (on the call):"Since when do you make jokes, Dante?"

Lorien:"Yeah, kinda offended, not gonna lie."

Kelvin:"...I hate to admit it, but Darius is right."

Dante blushed.

💔 A Quiet Scene – A Warrior at Rest

Elsewhere, Inavy Stormbreak lay wounded, chest still bleeding from Kai's final blow.

Ryan knelt beside him, eyes full of worry—Until Ethan returned, bringing someone unexpected.

Ethan:"I brought help."

It was Rose Eldara.Ethan's mother.Inavy's wife.The supreme healer of HeroCity.

She rushed to her husband's side.

Rose (teasing):"Come on, love.Get up already."

Inavy blinked, shocked.

Inavy (softly):"R-Rose...? You… came?"

They embraced tightly.

Ryan watched. Moved. Inspired.

Ryan:"He's hurt… his chest—"

Rose checked him. Then exhaled, amused.

Rose:"He was just... sleeping."

Ryan (in disbelief):"Sleeping?!"

Inavy scratched his head, embarrassed.

Inavy:"I was gonna fight again.But when I saw Kelvin was already there… I figured I'd take a quick nap."

Ethan (tearing up, punching him softly):"You dumb old man...!"

Inavy:"Ow... that one did hurt..."

Rose laughed.

Rose:"Men..."

🏡 A Place Called Home

Ryan continued to watch them.

That warmth—That family—He'd never known it before.

Rose (smiling at him):"Ryan, right? You're always welcome in our home.Dinner's ready. Join us?"

Inavy:"It's Italian night. You'll love it."

Ethan (grinning):"Sleep over, dude. C'mon."

Ryan:"I... I'd love to. Thank you."

They arrived at the Stormbreak Mansion—HeroCity's grandest residence.White pillars. Immaculate gardens. A legacy of light and chaos.

Inside, the hospitality was even warmer.

Rose cooked. Ethan showed Ryan his room.

Ethan (beaming):"Make yourself at home! This is my kingdom."

His room was a geek paradise.Action figures, arcade machines, classic comics, posters everywhere.

The doorbell rang.

Ethan:"That's Ryu!"

Ryu (entering, hyped):"BOYS' NIGHT STARTS NOW!"

They played games.Ate too much.Laughed harder than ever.

Even little Saddie, Ethan's younger sister, joined the chaos.

After dinner, while lying back, Ryan got a video call.

Annie's face filled the screen.

Annie:"YAN! We never call anymore!"

Ryan:"We literally saw each other today. And yesterday."

Annie:"I said call, not see, dummy."

Behind her were Abby and Eliara.

Eliara squinted.

Eliara:"IS ETHAN THERE?!"

Ryan:"Yeah. Boys' night. Ryu's here too."

Abby (blushing):"R-Ryu…?"

Eliara (to Ethan):"Ethan... tomorrow's our date.I leave for the U.S. the day after. Let's make it count, okay?"

Ethan (choking on his drink):"S-S-SERIOUSLY?!"

Ryu (face soaked):"DUDE, AGAIN?! ON MY FACE?!"

Everyone laughed.

Annie:"How about this—All six of us.Double date tomorrow. Each with our crush."

Abby and Eliara blushed.Ryan just smiled, quietly.

Later that night…

Lying in bed, Ryan looked at his hands.

Ryan (softly):"Reversum… huh?"

He stared at the ceiling.Unsure of the future.But for now—

There was warmth.There was laughter.There was home.

A breath of peace.
