Legacy of Hero: Rise of Kairon

Chapter 37: – The Silent Awakening

In the quiet clearing behind the Presidential Mansion, a waterfall flowed calmly over the rocks.Dante Valtier, eyes closed and breathing steady, remained motionless in a lotus position. The sounds of nature seemed synchronized with his presence.

"Hey, Dante... what are you doing?" Ethan asked, leaning against a tree.

"Can't you see?" Dante replied, eyes still closed."I'm channeling the Natural Primordial Aura."

Ethan crossed his arms, intrigued.

"Teach me. How does it work?"

Dante inhaled deeply and nodded.

"This technique lets you feel the Earth... life itself... and use it to amplify your power in harmony with the world. But be careful—it's unstable for those with unbalanced aura."

Ethan nodded, already mimicking the breathing rhythm.

"Got it... it's like connecting with everything around you, right?"

"More or less." Dante opened one eye and smiled."Did you know your grandfather created this technique?"

Ethan's eyes widened.

"Seriously??"

"Yeah. Ray Stormbreak invented it, and my mom, Diana, learned it from him. My father, Lorien, taught me. He has a technique called Seraph's Gaze. He can copy and refine other techniques... including this one."

Dante paused, raising an eyebrow.

"How do you not know this, Ethan? Your dad uses the technique too."

Ethan chuckled awkwardly.

"He's not the best teacher. He just says, 'Figure it out yourself.'"

Dante sighed, opening his eyes.

"And even like that... you beat me in the Draft."

Ethan shrugged.

"You know that game Legend of Heroes? I basically copy my grandpa's combos there. Works in real life too."

Dante narrowed his eyes.

"I lost to this guy... and he doesn't even train seriously. Freakin' prodigy."

He stood up.

"Wanna try the real thing?"

"Let's do it." Ethan grinned.

⛰️ Minutes Later – Back Waterfall

Dante and Ethan sat in meditation atop flat stones near the waterfall. The energy around them grew calmer. The vegetation responded subtly.Natural aura began to flow.

From a distance, Annie and Ryan watched.

"Since when are those two best friends?" Annie murmured.

"No idea... but they seem in sync," Ryan replied.

Annie smiled.

"Let's join them, Yan!"

They approached. Ryan remained silent as Annie asked:

"Hey, what are you guys doing?"

Dante replied, eyes still closed:

"Training Natural Primordial Aura. Try it, Annie. It's a great way to control your aura flow with nature."

She sat down eagerly.

Ryan hesitated, looking at his hands.

"I don't think I can. I don't even feel my aura."

"Just try," Annie said with a confident smile."You've got nothing to lose."

Dante nodded.

"Try to channel the essence of your aura... and sync it with nature."

Ryan closed his eyes.

Took a deep breath.

Focused.

🌌 Then... something abnormal happened.

A black aura with galaxy-blue edges began to emerge around Ryan. For the first time, it was visible to others.

Time seemed to stop.

From afar, Kane widened his eyes.

"T-That nerd... he lied to us?! He... he HAS aura?! And it's insane!"

Annie stared in awe.

"Yan... this is amazing. You have aura!"

But the energy flow began to distort. The space around them trembled. The trees bent. The waterfall froze midair. The ground cracked.

"D-Dante... this isn't normal," Ethan said, stepping back.

Dante steadied his stance.

"This aura... is insane!"

The Reversum, now excited and uncontrolled, was breaking free.

Ryan began levitating, his eyes glowing deep blue.Rifts opened in space, as if reality itself was tearing apart.

The young heroes stepped back.

"He's gonna suck us into that!" Kane shouted.

But then—

"Shadow Seal: Reverse Containment!"

Ryu appeared, forming a circle of living runes made of shadow around Ryan. The distortion slowly began to cease.

Ryan collapsed to his knees, gasping for air.

Ryu approached, serious:

"Dude... you do have aura?"

Ethan, still shocked, added:

"And it's dangerous, man..."

Eliara emerged from the trees. She ran to Ryan, watching him with awe and admiration.

"You... you're the strongest of them all."

That sentence pierced Ryan like an arrow. He closed his eyes, trembling.

"That power... I've seen it before. In my nightmare...When everyone was dead."

He shivered, haunted. In his mind, the apocalyptic vision from Chapter 31 returned — the bodies of his friends, fallen. And he... alone.

He touched the ground and whispered, voice low:

"This... isn't strength.It's a threat."

The waterfall resumed. Silence reigned.

The Reversum had been revealed —and the world had just changed once again.
