Legacy of Hero: Rise of Kairon

Chapter 35: – Yon’s Final Prayer

"Yon...?"Inavy's voice echoed through that dreamlike plane."Why are you here...? And why do you look so much like... Ray?"

The man before him, with wise eyes and a serene expression, replied with a bittersweet smile.

"Because Ray was my reincarnation.""What?!" Inavy's eyes widened."Yes. His purpose was to correct my mistakes..." Yon sighed. "And... he was also Earth's Guardian."

Inavy fell silent, the words hitting him like lightning through his chest.

"What do you mean...? He... was all that?"

Yon snapped his fingers, conjuring a floating bench of light. He sat calmly and gestured for Inavy to join him.

"Ray was a purified version of me. He inherited none of my memories or sins... only my essence. He didn't hold my full power, but carried immense wisdom. That's why his aura calmed everyone around him." Yon smiled, nostalgic."So that's it..." Inavy closed his eyes, emotional. "That guy... he had something special. Something indescribable."

"He was a great man," Yon added.

Silence.

The ancient spirit continued:

"When Ray died... the world became vulnerable. But there was still hope. A new chosen one. Someone who represents true rebirth.""Who?" Inavy asked."Ryan Valeborn."

"What?!" Inavy's eyes widened again. "Ryan...?"

Yon nodded slowly.

"The Reversum is my final prayer... before I died at the hands of my son—Tyrus. I knew Chaos alone wouldn't be enough against what's coming. Against... Kairon.""But why Ryan? Why not a Stormbreak... or a Valtier?"

"Because they already carry my blood. I wanted someone who represented zero... nothingness. Someone with no powerful surname. No aura. No prestige."Yon smiled, eyes glassy.

"Ryan is proof that even a 'nobody' can save the world. He is my will... to restart everything — without making the same mistakes."

Inavy felt a sharp pain in his chest. The puzzle pieces were falling into place. But one doubt still lingered.

"Yon... what's your story with Kairon?"

Yon's expression turned somber.

"Kairon was my son... my instrument of cosmic balance. I ordered him to destroy a planet… one where the love of his life lived. An alien named Elliot.""Are you saying—""Yes," Yon interrupted. "I destroyed that planet myself... I killed Elliot. Then I exiled him from my realm. I… was wrong. And he, who had always been just, decided it was time to return the favor. He will destroy what I love most: humanity."

The silence became heavy. A tear ran down Inavy's face—not out of fear, but responsibility.

"Don't worry, Yon," he said firmly."I'll protect our planet. Me... and my friends. And together... we'll help Ryan grow stronger."

Yon smiled one last time, his body beginning to dissolve into particles of light.

"Remember, Inavy... Ryan Valeborn is the key to defeating Kairon..."

Presidential Mansion – Ryan's Room

In the dark room, Ryan slept deeply... until he heard an ethereal, ancient voice.

"He is coming... you must... AWAKEN."

His eyes snapped open, panting.

A vortex of black energy with galaxy-blue edges swirled around his body. Shattered glass surrounded him. The mirror… cracked. But the reflection wasn't his usual one.

"My hand… this aura…" he whispered.

As he touched the mirror, his reflection smiled back. A blue glow pulsed in his left eye.

"Is this what they feel...? When aura floods their entire body...?"He grinned.

"I feel... powerful."

The Primordial Reversive Aura now enveloped him fully. The Reversum had awakened — and the world would never be the same again.
