Chapter 59: Chapter 59: The Legendary Fat Sheep

Hearing Shizune's voice, Tsunade snapped out of her daze as if waking from a dream. In the blink of an eye, she bent down, tightly grabbed the purse on the ground with one hand, and pulled Shizune with the other. The two of them bolted out of the store like lightning.

A hearty, bold laugh rang out behind them. "Boss, we're heading off now. Catch you later!"

Before the words fully echoed in the air, the two figures had already disappeared into the distance.

Peter stepped to the door, watching them vanish down the street. A faint chuckle escaped his lips, and he shook his head, muttering to himself, "Perhaps from today on, Tsunade's title will no longer be 'Fat Sheep'... but 'Goddess of Gambling' instead."

His eyes sparkled with an indescribable glint, as though he could already see Tsunade tearing through the gambling halls, sweeping the tables clean.

---

Capital of the Fire Nation

"Lady Tsunade, are you absolutely sure about what you said?" Shizune stared at her, eyes wide with disbelief.

"Of course!" Tsunade replied firmly. "We're definitely going to make a fortune this time!"

On the way, Tsunade had excitedly explained to Shizune how she had gained a miraculous gambling ability from the mysterious store.

Although Shizune listened patiently, deep inside she doubted the truth of such a tale. She was convinced that Tsunade had fallen victim to an illusion cast by the store owner, getting thoroughly duped in the process.

However, when she saw how confident and spirited Tsunade was, she didn't have the heart to burst her bubble.

Sighing quietly, Shizune accepted the situation with reluctant resignation. She decided to assume that Tsunade had simply lost all the money in some delusional game—and that there was nothing more to be done about it.

As Tsunade spotted a casino just ahead, her eyes lit up with excitement. She grabbed Shizune's hand and practically dragged her toward it.

"Shizune! Just watch how I turn five million into fifty million!"

Shizune remained silent, already mentally picturing the moment Tsunade would lose everything. After all, hadn't Tsunade said something equally bold before every gamble she'd ever made?

And every time, without fail, she'd lose it all…

Just then, several burly men suddenly appeared, surrounding them. They were intimidating, with scarred faces and threatening auras that made passersby avoid eye contact.

One of the larger men rubbed his hands with excitement, grinning. "Lady Tsunade, you've come back to pay your debts, huh?" His eyes locked onto the purse Tsunade held, filled with obvious greed.

Tsunade's heart sank. She had completely forgotten that she had previously taken out a five-million-tael high-interest loan from this very casino… and lost it all.

She instinctively moved the purse behind her back.

Seeing this, the burly man's face darkened. His tone turned menacing. "What's this? Trying to default on your debt and walk away like a deadbeat?"

Tsunade's lips twitched. Things had reached this point—there was no other choice. With a reluctant sigh, she handed over the money bag.

Regret filled her heart. If only she had chosen a different casino… She could've repaid the loan after her big win. But now, her journey had ended before it even began.

The men carefully counted the silver taels. After a while, the leader gave a satisfied nod and grinned. "Not bad. Exactly five million taels. Since you're a regular, we'll waive the interest this time." With that, he tossed the empty purse back to her.

Tsunade stared at the now-empty cloth bag in her hand, devastated. How was she supposed to gamble with nothing?

At least Chen Daozi had borrowed 20 taels back then. She didn't even have startup capital now...

She felt like a tiger caged in iron bars—possessing incredible gambling skills, yet unable to unleash them. The frustration gnawed at her, making her want to scream.

"Damn it!" she suddenly exploded. "If that damned old man hadn't converted the Senju land into commercial property, I could've sold it for so much more! How could it have fetched only a little over 30 million?!"

As it turned out, when Tsunade had returned to the old Senju territory, she discovered the entire clan land had already been demolished and transformed into a bustling commercial zone.

Only the ancient houses of her great-grandfather, Senju Hashirama, and her grand-uncle, Senju Tobirama, had been preserved. In the end, Tsunade had no choice but to sell these two ancestral homes.

What she hadn't expected, however, was that just these two buildings fetched over 30 million taels! If she had been able to sell the entire Senju estate, the number would've been astronomical.

It made her wonder just how much Sarutobi Hiruzen had pocketed under the table all those years…

---

Just as Tsunade stood there, overwhelmed with despair, a silver note worth ten thousand taels suddenly appeared in front of her.

She looked up in surprise. It was Shizune.

Shizune held out the note with a small smile. "Lady Tsunade, you have to win this time. Otherwise... we might have to eat Tonton for dinner tonight."

Tsunade took the banknote seriously, her expression resolute. "Don't worry, Shizune. This time, I'll definitely win. Just watch!"

With those words, she strode into the casino. The large "GAMBLE" character stitched boldly onto the back of her robe seemed to glow beneath the golden sunset.

"Chen Daozi turned 20 taels into 37 million. Now it's my turn—Tsunade—to do the same!"

---

The once-raucous casino suddenly fell silent as Tsunade walked in.

Gamblers, dealers, and servers all stopped what they were doing and turned to stare at her.

Newcomers, puzzled by the sudden hush, asked the regulars, "Who is that? Why is everyone acting like this?"

"You don't know her? That's the legendary 'Fat Sheep' of the gambling world."

"What?! That's the one?!"

"Yup. She loses every time. If you bet against her, you'll walk out rich!"

A wave of excitement swept through the room. Those who had never seen her before looked at her with a mix of curiosity and glee, as if they had just stumbled across a treasure chest full of gold.

Everyone followed her as she headed toward a dice table. In seconds, a crowd had gathered around her.

The game was simple—betting on the total sum of three dice: big or small.

The dealer expertly began shaking the dice cup. Meanwhile, Tsunade's ears twitched ever so slightly.

In that brief moment, she had already determined the exact outcome of the dice roll.

"I'm betting on big," she declared confidently. Without hesitation, she placed the full 10,000 taels on the table.

The crowd instantly reacted. Every single gambler placed their money on the opposite—betting on small.

No one wanted to bet with Tsunade.

The dealer checked both sides and slowly lifted the cup.

And then—

Shock swept through the crowd.

The dice total was big.

A stunned silence fell. The gamblers who had confidently wagered against Tsunade stared in disbelief.

"This can't be happening!"

"No way—it's big?!"

Murmurs and gasps filled the room. People looked at one another, trying to make sense of what had just happened.

Had the legendary Fat Sheep… really just won?
