Chapter 21: (Part 10)
(PAKISTAN)= (International Cricket Training Camp of Pakistan for Juveniles [Stadium 1])
"Here it goes!!" Christopher slammed his bat against the ferocious ball before his eyes however, tossing the bat away from his arms the ball smashed over the wicket. "Tch! Another out." Zach uttered annoyed. Christopher, Zac, Mikael, Damian, Silas and Farran with the others panted hard. Their expressions widened. "So… they are the highschoolers. Unbelievable… we don't even stand a chance." Christopher panted dumbstruck.
"Captain Kenzo was right… we don't stand a chance against them. How in hell world did they follow their deliveries?" added Damian baffled. "Sigh~ is this all that they've got" sighed Ren disappointed. "And, here I thought I might have some fun…" cried Aigou as Elias patted his head. "Don't be sad. They just aren't meant for playing against us." he smirked at the shocked middle schoolers.
"Ah~! How much I miss the brats from last night…" moaned Isa, "At the end, I was enjoying that. Not getting bored like this." "Hey… don't you dare treat us like useless pieces of trash! We haven't given up yet!!" exclaimed Pierre wiping his mouth and grasping the ball from the ground below furious. "Ah! They can still stand." Noah pointed rolling his eyes.
"Come on, I am playing against you. Throw your best delivery." smiled Senri standing on the pitch and swaying with his bat. "Huff! Huff! Right! Come at us as well. We dare not give up! Not on the name of our Captain!!" declared Malik, grabbing his bat and standing against Nagi who wiped his glasses taking a deep breath. "Not giving up to the very end hun…? Persistent brats!" he glared aiming for another delivery.
"Argh!! I am bored to death!! Why don't you let me play captain?!!" asked Orion sitting below and eyeing Rauf who stared at the pitches before him. "Nothing good will come if he lets you play. You might break one of their legs or heads." uttered Evandor joining Rauf. "No fair~!!" Orion cried cross. Soon his gaze shifting at Kazuna who stood with his back on the wall not even slightest bit of interested in the practice before him. "I can't believe it… we still can't win…" panted Izack hardly sitting on the ground utterly defeated.
"They are monsters… is this how the outside world plays?" asked Zac speechless. "Hm, I wonder when those brats will come back from the hill?" sighed Noah. "I want to play them." "Me as well, those brats seemed really promising." endorsed Ren. "Wah!! It's no fun! I am leaving!!" Aigou uttered cross leaving. "Me, too…" Zach concurred leaving as well. "No one leaves!!" Rauf ordered as everyone stopped aimd their tracks. "Those freaks will arrive… the moment you leave." Rauf added.
"Really, do you think they will be able to make it back in time?" asked Nidou drinking his sports drink. "Heh, they will. I have a feeling that they will!" Rauf betted. "Captain Rauf said it! We wait for the little monsters!!" Noah clapped his leg. "But you won't play." Ralph corrected. "Huh? But why?" asked Aigou. "They will die if they don't rest now. They have been at it for three days." Rauf said.
"Oh no~" Orion sulked. "Or what? Do you want to play against corpses?" asked Rauf cross. "Of course not~ captain… we'll do as you say. Just meet and greet. Okay?" Elias asked slightly dissapoited. Rauf taking a deep breath gazed at the middle schoolers below, mercilessly being crushed into hands of defeat.
(International Cricket Training Camp of Pakistan WESTSIDE hill)
Kenzo jumping up and down, stared at the boys beside him rushing down with the same speed. "How long has it been?" he questioned. Cassiel adjusting his boxes gazed at the watch in his hands, "1 hour 11 minutes." he replied. "That's it." Xavier spoke. "We will soon reach the diverged path, everyone be very careful." he cautioned. "Alright." replied Feng. "Say, say. Seraph~ this mountain feels strange doesn't it?" Adam gazed over trees in search of something. "What is it?" Seraph asked back.
"Ever since we came here, I didn't find even a single animal over this hill. Not even a rabbit, a horse, a lion or even a bird nest at the very least." Adam replied still searching over trees one after another. "Now that I think about it… it does feel strange." Azazel agreed.
"Isn't that something to be happy about? Why are you lot finding it strange? Or was it that you wanted to witness yourself fighting a bear or plunging at a lion with a spear kind of thing?" Kenzo rolled his eyes assuming.
"But it does feels strange. How can such a green and lush habitat be empty all around?" wondered Helios. "Who knows? Haha, maybe just by the sight of that coach's face, the animals must have packed up their bags and left!" giggled Heber amused. "Or what if they are kept somewhere hidden?" supposed Gabriel.
"Where in the world, would they keep so many animals hidden on top of that?" Ryan exhaled. "I can't seem to disagree with Gabriel. However, we might be lucky on the contrary." Poseidon smiled. "Then, let's take it as a fishy blessing…" beamed Xavier. "Fishy blessing... such a fine name." endorsed Feng.
"Hey, be careful everyone I can see the two paths!" warned Kenzo adjusting his boxes and looking forward. "Remember to take the left one, all of you!" Poseidon recalled. "On the count of three! One! Two! Three! Change ways!!" Gabriel alerted.
And, as soon as the paths diverged the boys turned towards their left and raced down the path towards the base once more.
"Wohoo!! Did you guys see that?! It was so much fun!" enjoyed Adam."Is everybody on track?" Helios asked counting the boys approaching within his sight. "Yeah! All of us are here!" responded Azazel ardently.
