As William and the group walked towards Frostfire city , the magnificent high walls of the city were becoming visible.armed guards were stationed at the sides of a grand gate which was wide open , and they exuded a mighty aura that would make anyone thinking of stirring trouble to hesitate.

Currently there was a queue at the side of the gate , the guard stationed there had to verify the identify of those entering the Frostfire city for the first time .This was to ensure that no wanted criminal entered the city.

There were those who seemed to be residents of the city who went through the gates quickly and entered the city without obstructions.

William was planning on also joining the queue but Arya told him to follow her and led him together with the group straight to the city gates. The guards guarding the gates saluted Arya even stepping aside to allow them to enter.

It seemed that Arya was an important person inside the city since the guards showed her respect to this extent.

William was astonished by how grand the city's interior was , this was nothing compared to the small village where he lived.

"So William, where are you from?" Arya couldn't help but ask when she saw the astonishment on William's face .

" A small village on the other side of the black abbysal forest" Elvin and the others were shocked

The other side of the black abbysal forest ! Everyone knew how dangerous the black abbysal forest was so traveling across it safely was another matter, especially when you are alone.Besides no one could miss the fact that there was no trace of mana from his body even when he fought against the wild boar.

This could either mean that William was a strong expert who was proficient in concealing his true power or he was a normal person who had no mana in his body.

Majority of the group leaned more towards the former considering how William dealt with the wild boar but people who were not present in the scene would believe the latter since William was still young to be considered an expert .

Arya led the group towards a well built mansion that was located at the centre of the city .The journey here was a smooth one since the streets became less crowded as they moved on.

As soon as William and the others entered the mansion gates, the saw a woman with crystal blue hair similar to that of Arya's but this woman had a more mature look compared to Arya.this was Arya's big sister , Rebecca.

"Arya ,where have you been all this time ? I've been worried sick about you " Rebecca didn't even spare a glace at William and immediately started checking Arya's body for any injuries like a concerned mother .

After making sure that that Arya was not injured Rebecca immediately turned towards Elvin,anger written all over her face" aren't you supposed to be her protector ? You are supposed to watch over her !"

Elvin just kept quiet with his head down.

"Rebecca, it's not his fault i was the one who made the decision to go outside the city and I'm safe " Arya was very embarrassed since Rebecca always treated her like a child but she also knew that Rebecca only cared about her.

William on the other had didn't like Rebecca's attitude one bit , William saw how she sized him up and he instantly knew that they could never get along .

" Who's this ?" Rebecca decided to ask Arya as she pointed at William.

" This is William,a friend of mine " Arya didn't want to go into the details but from that statement Rebecca got a lot; William held a special place in Arya's heart since she considered him a friend .it had to be known that Arya didn't have many friends .

'when did we become friends ' William thought,if only Rebecca knew what William was thinking she would have instantly turned him into an ice sculpture.

The group went inside the mansion accompany by Rebecca. Arya dragged William away to show him his room , she presumed that he would be staying.

At the same time Elvin got summoned by Raymond, Arya's father who was also the city lord.

" Who is that young man who is accompanying my daughter?" Raymond asked Elvin .

" He claims his name is William my lord , we met him inside the black abbysal forest where he helped us in defeating a wild boar . William seems very strong " Elvin said respectfully.

Of course Raymond didn't mind who Arya walked with but only wanted to know what Elvin thought about William.

From the way Elvin spoke , Raymond could tell that even though Elvin didn't hold William in high regards he still respected William's strength.

After Arya showed William his room, Arya took William outside to show him around the city.They passed by many areas and Arya even showed William the auction house,which was the second largest building in the city after the city lord's mansion.

" Are there any academies around where i can learn about weapons ?" William asked Arya, he had not forgotten the promise he had made to his parents and all the villagers .

Arya was caught off guard by William's question " um there are no academies in this city , but there are other cities nearby which have academies "

"If you'd like i will personally borrow permission from my father to allow you to access the royal library" Arya offered her help after seeing that William didn't know anything about the world.

William could not understand why Arya was helping him out so much but he could only thank her .

William stomach rumbled , he had not eaten that day and the day was ending . William had not gotten the chance to roasted the wild boar from earlier.

"Let's go back to the mansion " Arya said as she led the way.They walked in silence back to the mansion .it was already dark and dinner was ready.

Martha , Arya's mother was waiting for both of them to return . The minute she saw both of them return ,she invited them to dinner.

William was surprised by how grand this dinner was ,to him it looked more like a great feast.

" William you're always welcomed to this family since you are a friend of Arya's" Martha said trying to make William feel comfortable.

" William, i heard that you came all the way from the other side of the black abbysal forest,so does your parents know that you are here?"Raymond asked .

William couldn't help but shiver a little, this was still a sensitive matter to him but he still answered " my entire village together with my parents were killed and now I'm on a mission to find those who did it and avenge them " William spoke with such hatred.

Raymond immediately felt bad about asking that question. It was Arya's first time hearing William speak with such hatred.

" Father i was wondering if you could allow William to access the royal library?" Arya took this opportunity to ask that question,it was also to help switch the topic of discussion.

"That wouldn't be a problem" Raymond agreed. Rebecca looked like she wanted to object but decided to just keep quiet.
