Early morning of the same day...
Siva and karunakar met on their way to work as usual. Siva asked '' karunakara, have you seen krishna since then?'' Karunakar '' no...'' with his hanging low. ''Did you think about what happens when you see her the next time?'' , ''no....'' still hanging his low.....
Siva sighed. ''What to do with you?'' smacked back of karunakar's head.
''I don't know.''with a low sorrowful voice. Hearing this Siva felt sorry for him ''finish your work before noon and meet me in muthyalaiah's coconut farm'' . Karunakar tried to reply but '' shhh. Don't talk anything. Come and meet me.'' closed his mouth without giving him any chance to open his mouth.Karunakar just nodded.
After that ,they seperated.
.. Karunakar finished his work earlier and headed to meet Siva. As he was nearing Siva, he noticed a female sitting on a cot. As he walked forward he noticed that the lady was none other than Krishna. Karunakar's heart sank down to his pit of the stomach. His legs trembled with every step he took towards her without taking his off her. As Krishna kept looking down he thought to himself ''what have I done? What if she doesn't look at me anymore? What if she avoids me ? What if she ignore me? What if she doesn't let me near her anymore? What to do...? What am I supposed to do then?''....and many negative thoughts hovered his mind as he walked towards her and stood infront of the person who's sitting with her head down. He took a deep breath and ''Krishna, can you look at me?''with a voice which is trembling fear. His mind is filled with negative and constantly prayed to god to let him see her face. As Siva saw karunakar stood infront of Krishna, he left them alone and went to the other side of farm.
Krishna slowly lifted her face but didn't look at him in eyes. She kept her eyes on his feet. As karunakar saw her face ,he fell on his knees in relief looking at her preciously. Krishna lifted her eyes as soon as karunakar fell on his knees...
Both eyes met midair. As karunakar looked into her eyes, he thought they're still like how he saw them the other day, on verge of her tears falling from her eyes, as if she is trying to hold her tears back with all her might. Krishna turned her eyes down again. ''Krishna , can you listen to me?''in a deep and low voice. Krishna just nodded without looking at him. ''Let me, hold your hand?'' karunakar asked extending his hand infront of krishna. Krishna hesitated a bit. ''Sorry, I shou....'' before he can finish his words krishna held his hand. Karunakar felt so happy. ''Krishna Priya, I like you, I've always liked you since we're kids...'' hearing this krishna's hands tightened the grip of her hands. He continued '' do you remember how I used to tell you that I will marry you when we grow up?'' Krishna nodded as her cheeks become wet with tears flowing continously. She didn't expect him to be serious. She remembered them clearly but didn't expect this situation. She just thought he was messing around her as kids do. '' I wanna marry you. Would you let me?'' She was beyond ecstatic. No words could describe how she felt. Without her knowledge she buried her face into his palms. She was crying but with uncontrolled happiness. She cried in his hands for a long time before she could control herself. As he saw her crying karunakar eyes moistened and few tears fell on to his cheek. Krishna lifted her face unable look into his eyes ''do you not remember the answer I gave you everytime you asked me'' in a nasal tone as she still couldn't stop her tears. Hearing this Karunakar felt as if he was on clouds,because he know the answer krishna told as a kid, '' I will marry you no matter how many times'' with a brightest ever smile on her face... Krishna told '' I will marry you no matter how many times'' with her tearful eyes and the same bright smile. Karunakar slowly reached her hand towards her cheek to wipe her tears off. He carefully leaned over till their foreheads met. Krishna held tightly on to his sleeves. They looked into each other eyes and did not talk anything . They just stayed like that. After sometime ,Karunakar pulled off as if he remembered something. Krishna looked at him confusingly and turned her eyes down as she felt his eyes on her with a small, adorable, shy smile. It's more like she was smiling with her eyes rather than lips. The more karunakar looked at her the more he fell for he ''what to do? How can I not fall for again and again after looking at her adorable face'' smiling to himself.
Karunakar ''Krishna , I just remembered Siva called me to meet him here. As soon as i saw you nothing came my mind. Can i go and meet him?'' asked with his left hand over her head stroking it gently. Krishna nodded and ''he was the one who told me that you will be coming here'' as if suspecting something. Karunakar ,in response to her suspicious look '' we just planned to meet here this morning, there's no way it is planned.'' shaking his head horizontally and continued'' it's pure coincidence that we met here'' with a gentle curl at the corner of his lips.
As they were talking,'' aaah, you better pick a place that is more private if you wanna flirt with her, idiot brother'' Aparna's voice came from their left side where Aparna was leaning over a tree. ''good thing I came late.'' She shook her head still having difficulty in digesting what she saw.
Krishna's face flushed with embarrassment and buried her face into her knees with her arms around her legs making herself small. Aparna and Karunakar chuckled at her adorable action and Aparna looked at her brother proudly with a huge smile from ear to ear.
