Chapter 33: Ch33: Morning
Kakashi stirred slowly, as the morning light slipped through the curtains and warmed his skin. He didn't open his eyes right away there was something soft brushing against him, something wet, warm.
A low breath escaped him when he felt her lips wrap clumsily around the head of his cock.
His eyes fluttered open.
Kurenai was between the sheets, head bobbing gently under the covers. Her movements were slow, unpracticed, but full of intent.
She was clearly trying tongue flicking against him as she took more into her mouth. It wasn't perfect, but the effort, the sight of her doing it half-asleep, was enough to make his pulse quicken.
A soft groan left his throat as he reached down, fingers sliding into her hair, gently guiding her.
"Good morning," he murmured.
She hummed around him, embarrassed but determined. The vibrations made him twitch in her mouth.
When he finally came, it was with a soft grunt, his hand tightening just a little in her hair. She swallowed what she could, wiped the rest with the back of her hand, and looked up at him with flushed cheeks.
Kurenai crawled up beside him, lips brushing his.
"I remembered last night," she whispered.
Her thighs shifted slick again. The memory had made her wet.
"Shower?" He said as he smirked.
She nodded, and she took his hand, leading him into the steamy bathroom.
Water poured over their bodies, and Kakashi backed her against the cool tile wall. He kissed her deeply, hands roaming her wet skin.
She gasped as he lifted her with ease, pinning her to the wall. Her legs wrapped around his waist just as he slid inside her.
Their morning rhythm was slower, more tender, but no less intense. Each thrust echoed softly in the shower's hush. She moaned against his mouth, arms tight around his neck.
And as the water washed over them, they moved together, breathless, but already needing more.
….
The scent of grilled rice and miso filled the small kitchen. Morning sunlight streamed through the window, casting golden light across the floor.
Kurenai sat sideways on Kakashi's lap at the table, both of them wrapped in towels, steam still rising from their damp hair.
She held a bowl of rice in one hand, gently offering him a bite with her chopsticks. He opened his mouth obediently, chewing quietly as one arm rested around her waist, fingers trailing lightly over the edge of her towel.
"You're comfortable," he murmured.
"Mmm," she smiled, leaning back against his chest. "I should be. You kept me up all night."
"And you started the morning if I recall," Kakashi said with a smirk on his face.
Kurenai nudged him with her hip, laughing softly. The warmth between them was natural. They ate slowly, feeding each other in lazy silence, as their bodies relaxed, pressed close.
Outside, the village stirred to life.
Eventually, Kurenai sighed, finishing the last of her tea.
"Team 8 has a tracking mission this afternoon. Inuzuka's been eager for something more active."
"Yes, my team is the same, it's time they do a C-rank mission," Kakashi said.
She looked over her shoulder at him, fingers brushing his damp hair. "Will I see you after?"
"Of course, you can also look for me through the snakes," Kakashi said.
"Promise?" She asked with anticipation as if she didn't have a mission she didn't want to leave his side at all.
He pulled her closer, placing a kiss on the nape of her neck. "Always."
By late morning, they stepped outside together fully dressed now, Kurenai in her dark red Jōnin outfit, Kakashi back in his ninja vest. The sky was clear, the village bathed in sunlight, and the hum of life.
At the crossroads, they paused. He gave her one last glance calm, unreadable, but softer than usual.
She smiled. "Don't be late."
"I never am." He joked.
They went their separate ways Kakashi went toward the Hokage's office with his hands in his pockets, and Kurenai went down toward the training fields, where her students were already waiting.
Kakashi approached the Hokage's building. Without his usual mask, his face was fully visible, a change that had become normal since the fusion of souls.
His Sharingan remained sealed under the special technique Kushina had created for him.
Waiting at the entrance were his students: Naruto, Sakura, and Sasuke. Sasuke, now Kakashi's direct disciple, stood slightly ahead of the others, a subtle sign of their close bond.
"You're late!" Naruto exclaimed, hands on his hips.
"Got caught up in some paperwork." Kakashi gave a smile as he casually lied to Naruto.
They exchanged greetings and entered the building together. Inside, the mission room was filled with ninjas. The Third Hokage looked up as they entered.
"Ah, Team 7. Ready for a new mission?" Hiruzen said as he caught sight of Kakashi's changes and flashed him a smile that most men understood.
But when he thought of his stupid son being depressed over a woman, he couldn't help but shake his head and thought that Asuma needed more time to train his mind.
Kakashi saw him and smiled as he touched the back of his head. He knew this old man was also a pervert like Jiraya.
"Yes, Lord Hokage!" they chorused well, except Naruto.
"Yes, Old man!" Naruto shouted as he responded differently than the others.
The Hokage nodded and gestured to a man standing nearby. He was older, with gray hair, a beard, and glasses. A towel hung around his neck, and he held a bottle, the scent of alcohol faintly noticeable.
"This is Tazuna, a master bridge builder from the Land of Waves. Your mission is to escort him safely back to his home." He said as he introduced the Sloopy Old Man.
