Kaelthar: The Iron Will

Chapter : Chapter 0 - Interlude

Long ago, in the boundless world of Aetherion, there existed seven great kingdoms, all governed under the watchful guidance of a singular, omnipotent being known as the Celestial. The Celestial, the creator of Aetherion, forged the realm from the void, crafting a world of unparalleled beauty and harmony. To enrich her creation, she scattered her divine "Treasures" across the lands and brought forth the Aether, a radiant force that became the very heart of Aetherion's magic, called Magica.

For countless millennia, Aetherion thrived under the Celestial's divine touch. By the Moonlit Calendar 3458 AD, her creations—humans, dwarves, elves, and other intelligent beings—had flourished, establishing vast kingdoms across the world. Though diverse in culture and purpose, these kingdoms were united in their dependence on the Aether, each shaping their own destinies.

Among the Seven Kingdoms, Vylthassar Kingdom, known as "The Eternal Throne of Balance". Nyxandria, known as "The Luminous Sanctum of Wisdom", The Kingdom of Knowledge and Wisdom. Nyxandria, the kingdom of knowledge and magic, is deeply tied to Solmyrion, the magica of "The Guiding Radiance". Nyxandria's symbolism is The Everseeing Eye within the Cosmic Spiral, representing the endless pursuit of knowledge and the mastery of Aether. This vast institution welcomes all people, regardless of race, to learn the mysteries of magic, science, and the Aether. It is here that scholars and mages from all corners of the world come to unlock their potential and explore the arcane arts.

The rulers of DurnKhazad are known as the Molten Sovereigns, chosen not by blood but by their ability to craft a weapon worthy of the gods. The throne itself, The Iron Seat of the First Flame, is said to be a relic forged from the heart of a fallen star. It is said that the blizzards whisper the names of fallen warriors, and the glaciers hold the echoes of an ancient power lost to time. Once a thriving empire, Vaelstyrheim now exists in a fragile balance between vengeance and survival, haunted by both its past and the spirits of its slain.

The sovereign is known as the "Lion King", chosen not by birthright, but by a sacred trial: The Ordeal of the Unyielding Flame. The throne, The Golden Seat of the Unbroken Oath, is said to be forged from the swords of a thousand fallen heroes, each carrying the spirit of its wielder. Valkareth stands as a bastion of honor and martial excellence, where knights, warriors, and champions train from childhood to uphold the kingdom's code. It is said that only the worthy may set foot in the Hall of Eversteel, a grand citadel where the greatest warriors in history are immortalized in legend. The kingdom's people believe that valor in battle is second only to honor in life, and even the mightiest must follow the Code of the Everblade—a doctrine that dictates selflessness, justice, and courage.

In an era long past, a band of heroes arose from across the Seven Kingdoms when war threatened to consume the realm. Known as the Heroes of Unity, they forged alliances that transcended borders and stood together to end the Great Malkarion War. Their bravery preserved the Aether and brought peace to Aetherion. However, peace proved fleeting. With the passing of the Heroes, the bonds they had forged began to fade.
