Chapter 77: Chapter 77 - The Demon Emperor’s Bloodline

Dugu Yan sat alone in her room, feeling downcast. Normally, Meng Bei would be by her side, holding her close, but tonight, he was probably comforting Ning Rongrong instead...

Her expression was filled with worry.

She didn't know whether Meng Bei truly loved her or if he was only with her because of her grandfather's coercion.

What would she do if Meng Bei had never genuinely liked her from the beginning?

Dugu Yan bit her lip, unsure of what to do.

But no matter what, whether Meng Bei loved her or not, she could no longer bear to be apart from him.

Dugu Yan placed her hand on her stomach, silently contemplating.

Meanwhile, Ning Rongrong dressed herself in an elegant princess gown, meticulously prepared to captivate Meng Bei.

White stockings, polished leather shoes, and a delicate tiara adorned her head—each detail perfectly tailored to catch Meng Bei's eye.

She giggled mischievously, eagerly anticipating what would happen later that night.

At the same time, Liu Erlong carefully dressed in a tight-fitting black gown that highlighted her mature curves. The way it clung to her body, especially when she bent over, accentuated her alluring figure.

"Xiao Bei… will definitely come tonight, right?"

And then there was Xiao Wu. Unlike the others, she hadn't dressed up at all. Instead, she wore a strange fishnet outfit—so revealing that it was practically transparent.

Unfortunately for all of them, Meng Bei didn't visit anyone's room that night.

Instead, he stayed in the vine house that Tang San had built for him, focusing entirely on the mysterious reward from his system—

"The Demon Emperor's True Blood!"

A crimson orb of blood floated mid-air, uncontained yet stable.

Meng Bei could feel the overwhelming power emanating from it. Within the blood, mystical runes continuously shifted and transformed. The pressure from it seemed to distort the surrounding space.

As he gazed at the blood, it transformed into various powerful creatures—first a dragon, then a phoenix, followed by a kirin, and then a divine ape.

From legendary beasts to ordinary animals, the blood displayed countless forms.

Finally, it settled into the form of a snow-white rabbit and flew straight into Meng Bei's mouth.

The moment he absorbed the blood, Meng Bei's eyes shone with divine light, piercing the skies.

The weather changed abruptly. The wind howled, and snow began to fall, covering the land in white.

Meng Bei's consciousness was pulled into an ancient era.

He saw a snow rabbit locked in battle with a dragon amidst the stars.

The aftermath of their fight shattered galaxies. A single scale could destroy a planet, and a drop of blood could extinguish a star.

In the end, the snow rabbit emerged victorious, tearing the dragon apart. The dragon's blood dyed the starry sky red.

Meng Bei witnessed the rabbit's rise—from an ordinary creature to a formidable Demon Emperor. It tempered itself through countless battles, slaying beasts and divine creatures alike until it reigned supreme.

The creatures the blood transformed into earlier were all foes defeated by the Demon Emperor.

The Demon Emperor had absorbed the blood of its enemies, growing stronger with every battle until it became invincible.

Now, a fragment of that power resided within Meng Bei.

Only then did Meng Bei realize that the Martial Soul Evolution Elixir he had taken earlier was derived from the Demon Emperor's Bloodline—although it had been diluted and refined by the system for easier absorption.

The raw Demon Emperor's Blood, however, was far more violent.

Had Meng Bei not already strengthened his body, he might have struggled to absorb it.

With the complete Demon Emperor's Bloodline, Meng Bei felt reborn.

Although his soul power hadn't increased, his overall strength had undergone a massive transformation.

Most notably, he could now fly—a feat usually reserved for Titled Douluo.

Meng Bei wasn't a Titled Douluo yet, but his power had reached a comparable level, enabling him to defy gravity.

In her room, Xiao Wu suddenly felt an intense bloodline resonance.

It was as if a snake had encountered a dragon—an instinctive, irresistible urge.

Unable to suppress her feelings, she hurriedly threw on a coat and ran toward Meng Bei's vine house.

Outside, the snowstorm intensified, and temperatures plummeted.

Tang San shivered inside his room.

Despite his Mysterious Heaven Skill and status as a Soul Elder, he couldn't resist the bone-chilling cold.

Unable to sleep, he began meditating.

Suddenly, through the window, he spotted a figure wrapped in a coat walking toward Meng Bei's vine house.

He caught a glimpse of rabbit-like ears on the figure's head.

"Xiao Wu?"

Tang San's heart skipped a beat.

But after a moment's thought, he relaxed.

Meng Bei already had a girlfriend. Meeting Xiao Wu late at night was probably just for cultivation.

Tang San even attributed Meng Bei's rapid progress to secret training methods and resumed his meditation, no longer worried.

Meanwhile, in Meng Bei's vine house, Xiao Wu rushed in, throwing off her coat.

She leaped into Meng Bei's arms, her body trembling.

"Meng Bei, I'm so cold. You're so warm!"

Her voice was soft and alluring.

Meng Bei's interest was immediately piqued.

Dressed in her fishnet outfit, Xiao Wu looked like a trapped rabbit begging for mercy, igniting Meng Bei's desires.

Although Meng Bei hadn't planned for such an encounter, Xiao Wu's advances struck his weak spot.

With the power of the Demon Emperor's Blood, Meng Bei was now stronger than ever.

Despite Xiao Wu's formidable 100,000-year cultivation, she was quickly overwhelmed and exhausted.

Meng Bei gently lifted the drained Xiao Wu and placed her in the swinging vine basket that Tang San had built.

He pushed the swing, sending Xiao Wu soaring through the air.

Excited, Xiao Wu let out cries of joy, experiencing sensations she had never felt before.

The snowstorm drowned out the sounds of her excitement.

As dawn broke, Xiao Wu curled up in Meng Bei's arms like a content kitten, playfully asking for a baby.

Suddenly, someone knocked on the door, startling Xiao Wu.

"Cough, cough… Come in."

Tang San entered, glancing at Meng Bei, who was still wrapped in blankets.

"Xiao Bei, are you okay? Your breathing seems off."

Meng Bei coughed lightly and replied:

"It was too cold last night. I think I caught a chill."

He pulled the blanket tighter around him, hiding Xiao Wu underneath.
