Isekai Journey Of The Magic Archer

Chapter 956: A rough model

[Rein's POV: ]

"So, that will be it for today's class."

He finished writing on the board and placed his magic chalk down.

"If you finish taking notes, please place your utensils down and pay attention."

He usually went on till the end of the class but now, even though not even half of the time had passed, he was already done with his portion for today.

"Teacher, are we going to talk about our model?"

"That's right, Miss Quin. However, I'll appreciate it if you all don't ask me any questions before everyone is done."

"Oh, yes!"

Quin was asking questions like always, but one didn't need any special knowledge of what was going to happen now that he was done teaching.

The festival is approaching, and I'm pretty sure we will start the preparation and stuff since the President called a meeting of the student council members today.

'Still though, that isn't important at the moment.'

[{ "I can't believe that bastard ditched us today as well." }]

[{ "He didn't ditch us, Uriel. He… just got busy with other things." }]

He was the headmaster, yes, but if you tell someone that you will be meeting them the next day, at least you should tell them you won't be available a few hours before they get to your office!

[{ "I didn't like how he left Harry there just to tell us he would postpone the talk to the evening." }]

We got up early after spending a long, tiresome night. We hurried and didn't even play in the shower. Ate breakfast in a hurry and even made lunch in a hurry just so we could talk with him on the time that he wanted us,

But, what do we get as soon as we get to his cabin?

'Nothing!'

He was not there, the place was empty and Harry was just sitting on the window waiting for us.

'And he also only delivered the message before flying away into the faraway sky…'

I don't know what the hell came up that he had to run away so early in the morning, but whatever it might be, shouldn't he at least tell us about the rescheduled talk himself so that we at least know something important is going on!

This was very improper behaviour, even for the headmaster.

[{ "I genuinely didn't like it." }]

[{ "I understand that. But you should tell that to him instead of repeating it like a Green Pritooer in my head. I'm getting distracted." }]

He was still writing something in his notebook even though he had already written down everything present on the board.

'He was taking unnecessarily complicated notes when the topic that sir Jez just taught was about the diversity of Mana elements, something he knew very well as someone who couldn't have just one kind of elemental spirit.'

Yet here he was, just like every other day, writing down who knows what in that nearly endless notebook of his.

"Everyone done?"

It almost seemed like everyone else was done copying things from the board, but Eon was still going on.

"I'll wait for five more minutes."

And, he was the only reason that Sir Jez had to give that time limit. Even he knew by now how he writes hell long stuff that doesn't even relate to the ongoing things in the class…

'Yet, as he had found out over time, whatever this bastard of mine writes in this notebook that might be worth more than a fortune to anyone who understands that stuff, is not something he should interrupt.'

Just like a great mind creating some kind of groundbreaking thing in the serenest flow of their lifetime, Eon also creates things that are too complex for even our teacher's to understand sometimes.

The only difference between him and those geniuses is that he does what they could only do on a fine day in almost every other class of any teacher that is teaching.

'Some of them are even asking the (Source providers) for what exactly is it that he writes in that notebook.'

Which is funny, hehe, since they are paying him to get only a glimpse of his notes when they could just ask him for them in their class or by calling him directly.

'He's a nice dummy so he would give them whatever he was writing at the moment.'

And even though he doesn't write things that aren't going to be appropriate for the ongoing class or for the teacher that is teaching at the moment, all who look at that notebook's contents would just simply give it back to him.

"Alright, finally done."

They would only understand the gist of his notes since his handwriting is god forsaken, but from whatever they understand, I know they would know that the things he is writing are in fact related to whatever they were teaching… just at a level they don't teach in the basic classes of first year.

"Seems like everyone is finally done this time."
Your next journey awaits at empire

But that was his notes.

Someone like me who doesn't even take out pen and paper in a class shouldn't criticise the efforts of hardworking people like him.

"Alright then let us all start with giving a round of applause to Lucifer for providing the idea that our class will be finalising for this time's festival competition."

Claps, shouts, and cheers broke out in the entire classroom and everyone seemed genuinely excited about how his idea was selected over everyone else's.

'There surely were other candidates, but instead of any of them, his idea of creating the original version of the floating island was the most unique.'

And, he didn't just give the idea…

"Alright alright class."

There was something more that he prepared to win over the rest of the class.

"As we had seen yesterday, this is the rough model that Lucifer had proposed for the actual model that will be of a much greater scale than, well, let's say any other class's."

-Snap!

The teacher snapped his finger, and everything present on the board was replaced by a red blueprint design of a roughly created model that had a unique mechanism to keep the land floating, a certain geological and microbiological detailing, as well as a rough idea of a lot of things that created the entire picture one needed to know what we are going to make.

He didn't spoon feed them a lot, leaving a lot of room for them to think things and improve his structure and, Eon even left some loopholes in his own design for them to correct… making it the actual rough idea that this class, or any class needed for what they wanted to make.

"This is a good idea Lucifer. A great idea even."

The teacher praised his idea once again..l why is it that they prise only him when I did half of the work on that thing?

'Hmph!'

Well, I don't mind it really. I only wanted to make the great core, but I know only Zoe can make it as well as it is supposed to be so we just stopped and didn't bother with that idea.

'I mean, she will make it as well as it could be, and she's most likely going to win this whole competition thing anyway.'

But at the very least, I wanted to be part of something that can match up with something created by some of the greatest minds of this world, a divine being, and a descendent of one of the rulers of hell.

"We roughly know what we are going to do with this, which pushes us ahead of the rest of the classes that will still take a day or two to come to the conclusion."

The project itself isn't going to be anything simple.

The scale we were planning on right now was most certainly not going to fit in a classroom or in some simple room.

'We will need a special place just to build this thing, and while we are building it, we will have more than a few dozen people on sight looking after the rest of them and their work.'

It's not going to be a small project so just thinking how we will be pulling this in just three weeks is giving me a headache…

"I'd like to suggest we start working on this starting today. At the very least, let's come together and finalise the structure, the composition, and the various components."

Sir Jez looked at the rest of us with an excited look, showing just how much excited he was for this little adventure.

"We aren't going to do the hard work today, but we will be going to the workshop that we will be using for this project… it is a place I personally use, so some of you might like it as well."

We've heard about the place he was talking about. Eon had been excited to visit that lab for a while as well.

'According to him, the place that Sir Jez owns is much better than the labs that we have in the academy when we talk about the freedom of use and accessibility.'

We wouldn't have to worry about the restrictions in that place, and since that place 'probably' has most of the things that we have in the academy as well as a few other places that Sir Jez got from his family members, it's going to be a fun time for the Boys.

'As well as a few girls as well, perhaps.'

Sir Jez was aiming for victory even though he was against individuals that had more practical and technological knowledge than him.

"Let's do this, everyone!"

"Yesssss!"

"WOHHHHHH!"

"YEAHHHHHHHH…!"

Even though he was… even though we were pitted against the odds, he was excited about what fun thing we will be doing together.

[{ "He's quite lovely, don't you think, Eon?" }]

This class didn't like him because he was super nice or anything, but his free nature is what makes him so special to this class, to us, and to me.

[{ "He sure is a fun person, yes." }]

You couldn't dislike a vampire that's going to take you to His house now, can you?
