Into The Wild

Chapter 5: Eat, Kill, Rest, Repeat.

Chapter 5

The house was quiet, lights shining bright, an impression

someone was home; though the house had been vacant for some time. Shadows, roamed the halls.

A pressure overcame the area sealing the space like a dome as a young woman strode across yard

confidently, long straight dark hair rivered down her back dancing at the hem of her skirt. a silver cross shielded across her breast. Baring the symbolic protection from the light. Walking around onto the cursed land cautiously, eyes darting from corner to corner.

The air heavy as dread seemed to fill the area. Pausing mid stride a sudden cry pierced the air.

A yell for help screamed from the right side of the house. Filled with horror and fear an edge overcame the young woman as instinct caught her Running forward to the noise.

Was it Rosario?

Was she hurt?

Maria Rotino ran into the yard covered in a thick layer of

branches and leaves, her eyes searching and seeing nothing as another scream roared into the air, searching her eyes latched onto a young womans figure as it ran into the back door.

"Rose!"

Darting after the girl, through the hall of dead hedges, towards along the sides of the house

Small scratches began to slice and cut at her arms and legs, as hands began to reach out of the bushes snatching all around Maria. Black and red nails ripped out some hair.

Trusted by the assult from the topiary she called out

"Owe! ROSARIO Stop."

Darting left the loud clang from The rusted gate door smashed into the side wall, burning

pain came into Maria's calve. She hated running. Her breath catching a pain in

her left pectoral ached as her boobs bounced into her face.

Maira was not wearing the right bra for running not knowing she would be exerting so much exercise today. She had not planned accordingly

"Rosie stop running!"

Brown eyes shifted around notching ornaments and objects that seemed to bloom into space. Maria gained headway the young woman's figure rounded a

corner quickly.

"Fucking Christ!"

Muttering in annoyance, as she rounded the corner leaping

into the air dancing on her top toes. Ballet came in useful during a chase. Both girls were close due to their love of dance.

The right toe leapt into the air landing gently onto a

smooth surface of still floating leaves. Shooting from the ground a water

rotten hand ensnared the ankle.

Snatching the girl with a smooth small splash Maria was swallowed by the earth. Thick plastic

wrapped around the young woman as she flailed cocooning herself struggling as

water burned into her lungs.

The fire spread across her chest, fighting fighting sinking

lower to the bottom.

Landing in a gentle thud.

Maira stretched as she kicked away rising to the glass

surface breaking through the water. Wiping her face Maria blanked and swam

towards the edge. When a big smile spread across Lucas's face. Pain and suffering etched into his features

"Hey Mari."

Maria could only blink at the blue eyes hottie. He was dead,

she had mourned him, yet here he was alive and well in front of her very eyes. Shaking her head as she rejected the visage.

"Everything is ok."

How was he here? She buried him, they mourned him. Rosario felt lost and broken and he was dead

He was DEAD!

Maria suddenly became aware of her breath. Not having tasted

sweet air arising from the cold depths of the pool.

The pool.

Brown eyes shifted to the still water as a small bit of plastic folded discreetly another the water

"Oh my god."

Lucas hugged his girlfriend she was no longer alive he did not want to

show himself to her, skepticism kept Maria at bay and now she was here

"I'm dead?"

Whispering hollowly turning to the pool. The large gap in

the pool held the wrapped floating corpse. It didn't hurt.

It was so quick she felt as if a surge of energy pushed her to fight and make her way out. She couldn't be dead right?

No, this had to be a mistake.

She had just followed her friend. She followed rose.

"Rose?"

"She's not here"

She wasn't here, relaxation of her situation washed over Maria.

Crumbling she gasped in at her stupidity.

Everyone who comes here dies.

"Oh god."

Gasping in a hallow breath she began to tremble fro the icy chills across her skin.

Hugging onto Lucas he took her to his parents in the main

hall. They were salted and safe around the living area. The powerful spirits

welcomed Maria. Holding her as Maria cried into the ghost woman.

~*~

Kurama stood at the backwater finding the body of the young

woman. There was no way to save her, the CPR performed on the corpse was

useless. Sitting beside the pool Kurama turned seeing Maria and Lucas embraced as if melting into one.

There was no clear point where he started and she ended.

"Im sorry."

Maria shook her head looking up at Lucas and his bold blue

eyes. Eyes she had fallen in love with the moment she saw them.

"Rosario, is safe?"

Dark chestnut hair shook in worry Luka narrowed his eyes

"How long has she been missing!?"

He demanded frighting the new ghost

"Nearly a week."

Lucas pondered and sighed relaxed, knowing exactly where his

twin was, pale white hands reached out the the spirit soothing her aura

"She's fine, she will be back soon."

Maria looked to the house frowning

"The ambulance is coming."

Kurama stood calmly going over the events of the last hour. Detailing his discovery.

Upon arriving at the manor a trail led to the back yard,

slinking around the corner to the side yard, immediately his green eyes were

drawn to a small puddle Eerily still, a black flower bled in its depths. The

pale hand reaching out alarmed Kurama as he jumped in without hesitation. Swimming

to the bottoms string arms wrapped around the bagged woman dragging her to the

surface.

Lugging the body Kurama removed the bag down exposing the

pale blue face.

Relief washed over the red head. Maria the young woman

searching for her friend. Pressing into the woman's chest repeatedly. The

presence of souls surrounded him as he turned to See Maria. Her sad brown eyes just watched us. He tried to see her to no avail.

 Blue lights and

Sirens illuminated the streets, luring curious neighbors to witness the body

bag pull into an ambulance.

Whispers began to question?

How?

Why?

Was the demon not satiated?

Was it a curse?

Was it the last child?

Shuichi Minamono arms crossed sternly, emerald pools of

concern watched the ambulance turn. As the police and neighbors began to leave.

Around a corner soft foot falls rushed forward. Ocean Permitted the air.

"Red?"

Rosario rushed forward in a see through swim top a black

bikini with yellow daisies a single bag in hand hair wet and brushed. The sea

wrapped around every strand, salty sand ebbed in bronze flesh.

Emerald eyes washed over round full breasts, wide hips thick

thighs. Child barring hips Spanish women were wonderful breeders. Known for

carrying well. The emerald eyes loop back up across her the toned flat torso over

the perky hardened breasts. Goosebumps rolled across her chest. As the collar

bones indented beautiful. His eyes focused on the perky nibbles. Leaf green

emeralds sparklers through red lashes as the blush adorned Rosario's cheeks.

In a slow motion Rosario lifted the left hand and punched Shuichi

Minamono square in the eye socket bursting the orbital rim and knocked the red

head on his ass

Shuichi stared at the orange pink sky, fading into deep

purple black sky. Her curved finger burned into his eyes as he closed. Her body still lingered, and his mind sort of edge over him.

Deep within his psyche A hunger seemed to echo across his body.

A wild purrr He could not quite suppress.

Rosie shook her hand looking at the house and walking

towards it when Lucas stood before his sister

"What happened?"

With sadness Lucas turned to his right as Blue eyes looked

over to the soaking wet Maria.

The gasping breath was all Rosario could do as she tried to

hug the young woman and failed repeatedly.

"I'm so sorry I didn't believe you"

Both girls cried unable to console each other.

"My father will be broken, please be there for him."

Rosario or sobbed into a mist. A statuette mess across the

grass.

A creamy hand reached for Rosario's shoulder when she

grabbed the wrist and flipped him upside down.

Hot wet tears waterfall onto Shuichi's cheek. Rage shined

into dark gray skies.

Pain.

Instinctually Shuichi wrapped his arms around the woman

hugging the curled young woman.

Warmth, it had been unfamiliar for so long. The soothing

comfort seeped into her bones, her arms latched around Suichi clutching for

dear life.

Lucas watched this creature cradling his sister frowning. Witnessing

a love between the two, knowing Rosario she

would not reciprocate easily. She was a stubborn one his sister.

"Get somewhere safe tonight."

Kurama bowed as Rosario didn't seem to put up much of a fight.

{SPIRIT WORLD}

Files and documents lit across the massive desk. So many souls so many people.

Lost and trapped in that house. Souls under Prince Koenmas Protection. he had failed them. Cost them unnecessary pain due to pride and stupidity.

The photo of Lucas sat on his table. A level 10 psychic before his death.

His soul powerful, strong.

It was the file that made him nervous.

He had the Black grimoire. It was in the home with the soul demon. Anyone who knew and welded its power could take over the world. He would need to get it back.

Killing the Soul eater was the most important.

"GEORGE! Execute protocol Suenoyo. I want everyone ready within 12 hours."

"12hours! Sir! Is there a massive disaster? We only execute that protocol in the event of a cataclysm or the end of days. Is this really that serious?"

Koenma trembled this was bad. He needed everyone looking for that book. His fingers slammed on the intercom

"Attention! Requesting volunteers to help execute protocol Suenoyo. Every ogre who volunteers will get a 200 year credit and travel the bridge of life."

George the ogre was in complete shock. To reduce his sentence by 200 years would leave George free and clear.

His 1000 years sentence would be complete. His soul can move on. Most people sold more years to spirit world. They were cowards in their first life and even bigger cowards in this one too, afraid to move on knowing what will wait for them.

"Sir. Are you sure."

"Prepare the Reapers."

The green creature nodded swallowing the lump of fear in his throat. Who would jump at such on opportunity? So many files so many souls.

What would the prince do? How could he make it up to them?
