Into The Wild

Chapter 3: A Hard Days Night

Glass shattered as Yusuke flew out of the second story

window landing on his feet and screaming.

ASSHOLE!

His muscular shoulder tightened as Blue energy moved through

his muscles destroying half the house as well as the demonic spirits. Rushing

back in and running up the staircase, winding and winding up up they didn't

seem to end.

"Damn it."

Stuck Yusuke paused searching for his friends energy, a warm

cold energy dolloped in purple and blue energy.

Hiei the most dangerous of his friends, it was Hiei who

found the girl first swinging an iron poker sealing a room in salt.

The large china shelf shifted tingling, its contents having flown at the woman,a sharp breath

pierced the ache in Hana's rib cage. Stopping now would remove the adrenaline

forcing her to survive.

Launching forward Hana shifted sensing danger to her

immediate left Hana swung the iron bar hard as a hand caught it. Angry pomegranate

eyes stared down at the young woman as relief washed over her.

"The Hot one, are you ok?"

Hana hadn't realized she spoke out loud, and touched his

burnt right hand and wrist. Hiei had burned his way in, no doors would open so he made a door.

"That looks nasty, come with me."

Leading Hiei down a hall and turning left stood the man with

an axe.

The Serial Killer

Tsutomu Miyazaki, a child Murder infamous. He was gunned down on property, death was the only option for this man.

A crazed smile sliced across his manic face lips and palms Dripping with blood he began to rampage towards the duo Hana grabbed Hiei's arm and began

to run. Taking a long way around and slamming a door as the axe split into the

wood frame.

"Fuck that guy."

The sharp blade retracted causing both figures to hold their

breath. Anticipating a swing that never came. Hana sighed in relief, there was

a pause for now. A silence before the storm.

The large tower looked over at the an enticing beauty,

luring bystanders to their death, a beautiful view. Cold little hands slipped inside Hana's warm ones

The sudden giggles of three burned once pretty little girls, formed around the woman

Hana sat down on the little bed, springy and nice as the spirits manifested

"Hello beautiful girls!"

The smallest one, framed in Hana's arms hugging her, mouth

neck and chest burned and scarred. Latching onto Hana in joy.

"I told her you were alive."

"Rosie is not dying in this house a wItch told me."

Rosie said as a matter of fact and held out her hand to the

burned armed man.

"This is my friend, he's not dying here either."

Rose took Hiei's burned hand leading him to the ed and holding it out to show.

"Oh no the poor baby dragon!"

In no time all three girls began to fret cleaning the burn.

A tingling cold sensation moved up Hiei's arm tingling little bell voices

filled his ears. Their energy glowed pure and sweet he could feel the cool

breeze deep into the bones of his wrist, feeling as if he plunged into ice.

"Awww he's so cute!"

"It's a real dragon!"

"I wanna see! I wanna see!"

In moments Hiei the fire demon was bombarded by the small

girls. All clamoring to see and touch the dancing dragon bound to his arm.

Their sweetness melted the fire demons resolved, the girls

asked Hiei about his hair, his red eyes. Why he wore a bandana.

"Are you in a gang?"

"I bet he's in a gang"

"Gangsters don't wear headbands."

"Do too! All yakuza have their own rules. They have dress

codes too."

"Are you a yakuza?"

Bright worried eyes looked up into shining ruby eyes, the

small button nose sighed shaking his head.

"No."

Beaming at the simple word the girls showed Hiei's their art

and toys.

"This is where I read my books I have a little chair and a table and a pretty Flower Rosie brings me sometimes. Huh Rosie?"

Nodding in agreement the girls showed Hiei every inch of their world.

All the while Hana said nothing, her gray storm eyes focused

running through other scenarios of what could possibly happen next in this hell

house.

Currently waiting she heard more smashing as she screamed out.

"STOP PUTTING HOLES IN MY FUCKING HOUSE!"

She screamed as a silence overcame the noise

SORRY

Echoed through the home, Yusuke was being a fool.

Kurama was in the garden outside of the home unable to make it in the doors.

The creatures preventing him from entering The garden beast was powerful.

Too powerful.

In fact the spirits that dwelled in this home seemed to be of S class or higher. It would not bode well to continue without further information.

Communicating psychically with his comrades to reteat for now.

Regroup with more information and reconvene.

She will not flee.

Hiei's baritone deep voice echoed, witnessing the girl first hand he knew her heart. She wouldn't leave her family.

Bring her Hiei.

The fox ordered causing the fire demon to snarl. It was not good to order the general around.

Hiei did not take well to orders.

Even from his own close friends, yet he knew how the human was.

The dragon on his wrist writes feeling better, healing into his palm. It did not wish to be sealed again.

Dragons liked to be free, spread their wings, feel the breeze in their scales.

He felt stronger, more stable in his control of the hell beast.

The sudden swing of the door echoed as it slmmed into the wall the small girl vanishing form her place at the far room.

Blinking he grimaced unable to sense her presnse in this home full of spirits.

He would need to search for her.

Fleeing into the hallway it seemed to stretch forever. Scaling Hiei found a door slamming through the wooden panel to find himself in another hallway.

Snarling he felt her presence as the sound of crashes and grunts lured him to a room.

Entering he found the young woman fighting a black large mist of energy. A woman's face turned to Hiei hissing grotesquely, large blood red slots for eyes embedded in a cloud of thick black hair and smoke.

With a flick of his blade he slaughtered the beast. As a groan that seemed to come from the foundation of the home echoed.

The creatures death seemed to damage the home itself.

As if it were alive.

The blood from her temple trickled along her round cheek as she breathed in.

"Bout fuckin time!"

Raising his brows she breathed in, the dark marks brushing around her neck began to purple.

"Catch your breath. It won't do well to be trapped with the rest of your family."

Taking a breather she nodded grimacing.

Cold gold eyes glared at the six demonic ghosts.

Finally making it into the home to come face to face with multiple foes.

Each

yielding a weapon to strike against the red head. Evading and dodging with ease

Kurama felt saddened these demons were powerful, B class demons.

Easier than the Garden beasts, it was an easy kill. How could so many monsters reside in one place?

There couldn't possibly be this many? Could there?

The Fox wasn't even close to the core of the home. He felt a spiritual labyrinth Connected to the home. With high level spectors and spirits.

Too strong for a human to defeat, for the young Miss.

Rosario,

unable to track her scent anywhere. This house kept shifting, moving hallways

and bedrooms.

Whole staircases shifting up than down, narrow hallways led to a

bedroom, a wooden door with a carved rose knob. Sandel wood knob on a mahogany

door.

Creaking slowly the door swung open to reveal a large clean

room. Large tomes of books lined around the room nestled into shelves.

So many books the room was its own library.

Soft deep purple thick carpet flossed the room, there was no

bed instead a large round nest floating

in the center of the room hovering 3 feet from the ground. Fairly lights adorened the walls and around the swing.

Emerald eyes scanned the structure, a large wooden beam secured

the thick hook. Pillows and stuffed animals littered the bed. The room was

clean, the entire home was clean. Dusted and aired out, coming closer to find a

large stuffed fox, the faded color so gray it was unclear what was the original

color. One golden eye on the left side

had been glued and sewed repeatedly.

As the right stayed in place cleanly. No one could tell it

wasn't ripped from her brothers alligator. Turning the fox in hand Kurama found

the tail had been torn and ripped many times, layers of colored thread evident

as missing and over stuffed lumps were seen.

"Rose insisted on sewing it herself, she didn't like help

we brought it home from the hospital with her baby blanket."

Kurama turned to the sad mother admiring the fox, slightly

embarrassed Kurama replaced it and bowed

"Forgive this one."

A sad smile painted across Lilliana's face.

"Staying in one place too long is unsafe."

A sigh came from the red head his tall frame bowing. Deep

respect for mothers Kurama had, he loved his own mother deeply.

"I can handle myself."

The sadness of a mother triggered the protective instinct of

the fox

"How long have you been sealed in this home?"

Thick manic red brows rose and smiled as she sighed sadly.

"Three days after we moved in this house, it was a migraine I

lied down for a nap and."

A simple shrug, guilt flooded the mother as she looked at

the red head.

"Eventually Lucas found out about the monster, Rosie

believed him instantly. My Beau not so much."

Shuichi Minamono listened to this weeping mother hearing her

story and pain. The red head bowed deeply.

"This one will free every soul trapped in these walls."

Liliana smiled shaking her head

"The only soul that Matters is Rosario's she can't die here."

Shuichi bowed making a vow to the spirit, the sudden

crashing from the east side drew everyone's attention.

The ghost woman fled and Shuichi rushed out of the room as

the door slammed closed.

Hana cocked the loaded gun and turned to Hiei

"Ready?"

The usual flirtatious woman shifting into a fierce warrior

running into battle. Blasting past spirits, when a large woman slammed into

her. Grungy wet drenched hair, pale white body, lunging at Hana off the winding

spiral stair case.

The two women fought, fist to face slamming into walls, Hana

wrapped her ankle around the woman's head slamming her into concrete. Rolling into

a crouch Hana shot the woman square in the face, as she burned and melted into

mist.

Kazuma Kuwabara knelt on one knee, blood dripped down his

face. A glowing yellow solid sword in hand slicing apart ghouls, teeth clenched

and screaming, a sword in his stomach, several deep slices in his sides and pig

sticked.

Regaining her breath, Hana lunged forward and chucked a holy

water and Sulfer grande. The blast ringing through Kazuma's ears. As Hana

shoved him out of the third story window. It was the only way to protect him.

Returning her focus back

to the ether, beckoning Hana alone as she was meant to be, without fear or

hesitation Hana stupidly jumped off the railing down into the black abyss, staring

down at nothing

As if frozen in time when the sudden snap of wide orange

yellow eyes locked into her Blue gray ones

Unafraid two beings

in a standoff each waiting for the other when Hana lifted her right arm cocking

the weapon Without hesitation a finger

confidently slid around the trigger. A

tight sensation wrapped around her waist and gut. This was it, with a deep breath ha sharp

yanking her finger snatched the trigger down.

The massive bang defeaned as she was pulled to the left, a

thick green vine wrapped in layers around the girl toreHana from the monster

soaring through the air into a solid mass, the sound of shattered glass echoed

in Hana's ears groaning into a slam landed hard popping her left shoulder out

of place.

"GO!"

Lucas shouted when someone lifted her up and ran pulling the

young woman off the property. A black shadowed figure lunged landing beside

Yusuke. Kurama dragged the young woman to the street as the house screamed, all

windows shattered as well as the door way.

The air turned still, as if time itself had stopped, in the

deep black halls a solid black mass stared back at Hana. Bright orange eyes shined

on the hurt figure.

The thunder pounded in her ears as she stepped forward

trying to lunge at the demon, the thing

holding her back was pissing Hana off, pulling a gun from her jacket

pointing at the demon Hana fired fast.

Ear piecing shrieks resonated shatter cars and nearby homes,

lifting the stillness around the neighborhood.

Kazuma coughed several times saliva mixed inside the blood,

"Fuck."

All her planning all her resonating skills, gone this was

the shot. She missed. The rage in her aura peeked as she growled between her teeth.

"We need to get him out of here."

Kurama reasoned lifting his bleeding friend.

"Fuck!"

The American screamed losing her shit.

"Rosario, we need to leave."

"FUCK!"

Shuichi was right it didn't matter, there was only one

option. With sheer rage Hana glared at the silent empty house. Mocking Hana in

silence as they retreated back to the hotel.

Hana stood pissed glaring at the board, Kurama used his energy

to heal the many wounds on the brave Kazuma Kuwabara. The only human in of the

group, his kindness knew no bounds. He had bowed to aid Hana. At his moment

Kurama was proud to have Kazuma Kuwabara as a friend.

"Thanks Kurama."

"Shallow wounds heal easily,."

Kurama could tell he blocked a lot of attacks, the gentle

giant seems to have grown stronger.

the sudden slamming and crashing alerted the four men to a

tornado of rage that exploded upon them.

The ten minute assault left the room destroyed as the door slammed to the

bathroom and the sound of running water echoed.

After about two hours Hana walked out of the bathroom

wrapped in a towel, freshly groomed clean faced bronze skin woman

Her long lashes blinked at Kazuma, snatching some clothes Hana

slither back into the bathroom with a gentle tap of the door. It took only a

few moments before the young woman appeared

Kurama blinked at Hana as she exited the bathroom, men's

basketball shorts and a baggy t shirt with a rock band on it. PRINCESS one of the greater rock bands of all

time. Four men dressed up in make up and spandex. Looking exactly like women.

Gray cold eyes locked with kazuma as she glided to his side

kneeling. Back straight head held high.

Kazuma blinked gulping as she stared at him.

"I fucked up, I ran in half cocked and we got dry fucked in

the ass. I'm sorry. I won't make that mistake again."

Kazuma Kuwabara flushed deep red, the blunt American attitude

threw off the gentle giant as he nodded.

"No apologies necessary, really it is this my honor to aid

Miss. Ha- uh Rose?"

Hana blinked and gave a big bright smile easing Kazuma.

"Hey.. uh miss Rose."

"Just Rose is fine."

With a blush Kazuma nodded and bowed in respect.

"What are in those shot gun bullets.?

"Shells."

Kazuma blinked

"Like sea shells?"

Rose giggled kneeing behind the bed producing a large black case

the slipper slicing through the case to reveal red and white 12 gave shot gun

shells.

"This type of ammo are shells, some come with bird shot, tiny

little pellets, that won't kill a man just pepper 'em a bit, this here is buck

shot, that'll tear a hole through a truck. Hunting etiquette dictates birdshot, buckshot,

birdshot, buck shot, buck shot, buck shot buck shot.

I go for efficiency."

Delicate fingers ran along the underside of the case as a

gray hide. Dessert slid out to a canvas of bullets shells.

"And this Is for demons."

"Bullets can't kill demons."

Everyone turned surprised to the half breed king. Yusuke

stared at the shell large carved in symbols, the shiniest silver he had ever

seen. Instinct told everyone these were special bullets.

"Rosario."

Stormy blue eyes snapped to emerald orbs glaring at Shuichi

Minamono. He smiled gently trying to do his best to soothe her. Knowing how to

deal with women

"This is too dangerous for a human to handle."

"I know.. That is why I asked for help…"

Enunciating each word slowly as if speaking to a toddler.

Shuichi Minamono blinked, no one had ever spoken to him this

way, Demon nor human. The sheer indifference surprised the fox. This was no

ordinary woman. She was strong, smart. Cunning. He smiled at her words, the crass little thing was nearly upset.

"Its my fault really, I asked for help from Yoko Kurama, I

didn't expect whatever this watered down version of piss this is. Imagine my

surprise after hours of research to finally find the great Yoko Kurama, and he's

a putz. I should have gone with Genkai first."

All three men shut their mouth glancing at the red head. His

face in angry embarrassment. Rosario walked to the board unaware or uncaring

about her fierce words. Though factual the four men were unused to the crude

language of the American.

"Let's not cry over spilt milk. It's time to reset, our salt

piles are safe as they can't touch them. He lost 16 souls so he is weaker. That

means he will need to feed, we have to keep as many humans away as possible. I

can lock the house in a grid to deter weaker souls. He will attract evil souls, there's nothing to be done about that

and as long as there are no assholes walking by we don't have to worry. But

I'll cast a misdirection spell along the forest side. For early morning joggers and Hikers they are idiots."

"Hikers are not idiots."

"Anyone who gets up at 5am to walk through the woods is a

fucking moron, begging to be eaten by something vicious and Evil."

"There are no evil souls, just souls."

"Tell that to the trillions of people in hell."

No one spoke as none could argue with the mad woman plotting

away her revenge. Yusuke sighed

"Any more food in the fridge?"

"Yeah my mom cooked some roast."

The men stared between one another uncertain about the young

woman. Each one watched as she began looking through scrolls of Sanskrit. Rosario

acted as through her family were not dead. She relied on them. If they did this

she would lose them all. They would be truly gone.

Kurama's emerald eyes were glued to to the young woman emerging

in her hand plans.

Quite the general.

The cool voice Hiei echoed inside his head, telepathy a

skill both prefer than communicating aloud.

Yes, her ambition will get her killed.

Hiei knew the young woman would never stop, her brash

behavior caught them all off guard. Yusuke enjoyed it grinning brightly when

she threw her arms around the unexpected male soaking the wind from his longs.

The sudden embrace felt warm, the feeling expanded when Rosario gave a great

big kiss on the cheek goodbye.

"Get you killed next time."

The half breed king laughed his chocolate eyes filled with

adoration.

"We will stop by tomorrow gotta get this lug head home."

It took Kazuma longer than it should have to get the joke. A

shout of protest drowned in the sea of laughter.

"Shizuru will murder me if I don't get you home in one

piece."

Departing the hotel leaving Kurama and Hiei, Rosario turned

to Hiei smiling playfully a coy grin on her lips

"Bye Hiei"

Rosario sang his name sweetly causing a scoff.

"I would invite you to stay, however I'm Latin and we get

pregnant easily."

Hiei glared the audacity to presume he was attracted to her. She was in fact attractive. But she was not his territory.

"What the hell makes you think I would fuck you?"

Rosie broke into a smile shrugging

"I'm an orphan, you're an orphan, we're both twins lost

without the other. I have no doubt we

wouldn't go down the rabbit hole barring our souls into the black night."

Hiei glared insulted vanishing. Leaving Kurama and Rosario

alone.

Stormy blue eyes stared down the emerald orbs. He could see

the stubbornness in her eyes, sheer unwillingness to retreat. A smile draped

her face turning to the bored.

"We only have a few days before the next murder house victim

is claimed."

Staring intently at the board.

"Demons are enticing, he wants you, for what I'm unsure. Rosario

is only human."

A large bright evil smile spread across her face.

"Don't you know anything about humans? They're monsters,

drown their own children, kill their own wives. Murder is second nature, you

kill for survival we kill just to kill."

Her bold eyes peered into Shuichi's very aura, it was

uncomfortable, unfamiliar territory. Leaving Shuichi with that uneasy thought

the American delved into her plans.

A feeling crept over Kurama, instinct told him she would

die. He must do everything in his power to protect this frail human. He was

honored bound to do so.

"How shall we proceed?"

Rosario sighed shrugging

"I have no idea."

The calm woman shrugged huffing as she fell back onto the large

comfy bed focusing on the cracked ceilings. An awkward silence befell the two.

"I'm stumped. This has never happened before."

Popping up into action Rosario just stared at the board and

shook her head and sighed.

"What's wrong with me? This has never happened. Am I losing

brain cells? Did I die in the murder house and this is my own illusion of hell

trying to kill the itachi demon over and over in a loop of madness until I hang

myself in the bathroom?"

With a sudden slap to her own face Rosario jolted and shook

off the pain.

"Ow."

Shuichi minamono blinked at this strange girl as she shook

her head

"Rosario."

Shuichi intervened concern coated his coiled muscles.

"The night was long, rest will ease your mind."

Storm gray eyes bore into the fields of green in sheer

stubborn rage.

"That thing killed my family, if it were Shiori would you

rest?"

The very question shocked Kurama, the words rang true in a

single head bow the red head conceded as Rosario stared at the board in angry

determination.

After a few more moments she sighed and slumped down knees

up. Sadness consumed to young woman as salty tears stained bronze cheeks.

Breaking down leaving Shuichi unsure of how to deal with a

crying young woman. Frowning and thinking of the many times EMTs covered

someone with blanket, Shuichi lifted a black wool blanket with cut ends and

rainbow polka dots in horizontal lines. Rose took the blanket instantly

wrapping herself in a cocoon and cried into oblivion.
