Chapter 39: Chapter 38: Legendary Kamen Rider Build Form
"…Do you really have to be so extravagant?"
Ryuga's mouth twitched as he stopped walking.
"I just went to Heure to ask around," Ora replied, ignoring his sarcasm. "I heard this alien Ghost Rider has a younger sister—or was it a long-legged beauty?"
Cough, cough, cough!
Ryuga looked up at the sky, feigning ignorance.
Talented individuals often carry a touch of arrogance—especially women. Unfortunately, Ora was both: a woman and a master of time.
I remembered an incident where a rogue Rider scarred Ora's face. She killed him on the spot. No corpse remained.
Thinking of that, I sighed. Seems like collateral targets—like regular humans—should just be crossed off my list. Otherwise, I might not even know how I'll die.
Thankfully, my main targets weren't ordinary people. Compared to Ora, they were much weaker. After all, she's only mastered a fraction of time, but even that makes her a formidable opponent. Being able to protect herself with it? Not bad at all.
"By the way, you only have that one outfit, right? Let's go buy you some new clothes!"
Inspired by a sudden idea, I dragged Ora off to shop. With my current abilities, walking around was no issue. Any Rider who says he's too busy to take a girl shopping is full of it.
A little spending to keep Ora happy? Totally worth it—especially since she paid. Her magical tablet could generate money out of thin air.
I also confirmed something else about Ora: she has a thing for silver. Everything she bought—jewelry, dresses, shoes, even stockings—was silver.
After an entire morning of shopping, Ora still wasn't satisfied. But as it was nearing lunchtime, I convinced her to follow me to a food court—the same one where a certain major Zi-O incident was about to unfold.
Don't get me wrong—I wasn't here for lunch. My real objective was to meet the destroyer of worlds: Tsukasa Kadoya.
On the square, the out-of-control Alien Ghost was wreaking havoc. Naturally, Sougo Tokiwa arrived on cue—with Gates, who had mostly recovered.
Since Gates had obtained the Ghost Ridewatch (stolen from Oma Zi-O), the two didn't need help. They swiftly subdued the Alien Ghost.
Just as they were about to land the final blow, Heure suddenly appeared.
"Are you sure you want to finish him off?" he shouted. "If the Alien Rider's power is destroyed, the human inside dies too!"
Zio and Gates hesitated.
In that moment, a longsword shot forward, striking them both. Gates was knocked back, even forced out of his transformation.
"Kamen Rider… Agito!" Gates growled. "You again?! You blocked me this morning too!"
"Don't get excited too soon."
The supposed Agito smirked, pulled out a card from his belt box, and inserted it into a pink, camera-shaped driver.
[KamenRide!]
[Hibiki!]
Purple flames engulfed him as he transformed into Kamen Rider Hibiki.
"What the hell?!" Gates and the others were stunned.
Watching the sudden turn of events, I began explaining to Ora, "See that guy? That's the one I told you about—Kamen Rider Decade. He uses cards to transform into other Riders."
"Wow... So there's actually someone besides the Demon King who can handle the power of all Riders?" Ora exclaimed.
"You thought I was lying before?" I said, exasperated. "Anyway, don't wander off. I'll go say hi."
Without waiting for a reply, I walked directly toward the battlefield.
"I say, Mr. Tsukasa, isn't ganging up on a baby Demon King a little unfair? You're a full-level boss. You and an Alien Rider versus a newbie? That's just bullying."
"…Huh?"
Tsukasa froze. Surprised someone called him by name, he instinctively paused. Zio used the opening to push back the Alien Ghost, but instead of attacking, turned to face me.
"Who are you?" Tsukasa asked.
"Ryuga," Sougo muttered.
"Ryuga?"
Gates and Tsukuyomi echoed in surprise.
"I'm just a passing Kamen Rider—remember the name!" I said coolly.
"…"
Tsukasa stared blankly: I have a lot of things to say, but I can't even begin.
"Hahahahahaha! This is killing me!"
Suddenly, a man in a white trench coat fell from the second floor of the plaza, rolling on the ground laughing hysterically.
"I never thought I'd see you get shut down like this, Tsukasa!" he shouted, still laughing uncontrollably.
"Haidouin…" Tsukasa muttered, face darkening.
"So you're here too, Haidouin Daiki?" I commented.
Daiki, aka Kamen Rider Diend, stopped laughing just long enough to mutter: "Mrs. Haidouin? What the hell? I was planning to be your friend, not your girlfriend!"
"Anyway," I said, ignoring him. "Are we gonna fight or not?"
"…Of course we are."
Tsukasa was clearly annoyed. He hadn't even gotten to say his signature line before I stole it.
"Since you say you're a Rider, then transform!" he challenged. Tsukasa didn't sense any hostility from me. If I were an enemy, he would've attacked already.
"Gladly."
I pulled out my Evol Driver from the system space and snapped it onto my waist.
"Huh, is that a Build Driver?" Gates asked.
"Doesn't look like it," Tsukuyomi said. "Color and markings are different."
"So he's a Rider too?" Ora muttered, watching from a distance. "Wait—that belt… I've seen it in Swartz's Kamen Rider Build data…"
[EvolDriver!]
The belt's activation sound confirmed her suspicion.
"Now, who should I choose for my first transformation?" I murmured, stroking my chin. "Let's go with something nostalgic—an iconic one."
Power surged through my left hand as a red and blue full bottle materialized.
After taking a sentimental glance at it, I inserted it—along with the Knight System bottle—into the Evol Driver.
[Build! RiderSystem!]
[Evolution!]
[Are you ready?]
"Transform!" I shouted.
[Best Match! The Moon of Steel Returns! Rabbit-Tank!]
[Fu-hahahahahaha!]
Several metallic rings spun around me, the transformation sequence beginning. Red and blue light enveloped my body.
When it was over, I stood tall—not in some half-assed knockoff armor like the Zi-O version, but in the original, full form of Kamen Rider Build. Only the belt was different.
