Infinite Evolution: My Idle Evolution System

As the B-Rank Hunter Party MoonShiners traveled deeper into the sandy terrain of the Gate Tyrant's Obsession, they saw many more massive corpses. Yet, even after five minutes of speed walking, they saw nothing beyond that. All of the monster corpses had been cleaned of everything valuable, so there wasn't even a profit to be had.

Stella could feel the surging irritation of her Party Leader, prompting her to keep her head low and just continue following from behind. As an Awakener of the Low B-Rank and a less versatile Mage-class, this was the only thing she could do. It wasn't like she had any auxiliary tracker skills or location skills, so her usefulness was extremely limited in this kind of situation.

Dominic realized this; everyone did.

However, it wasn't like they had any such skills either, so they couldn't openly criticize her about it without their reprimands backfiring on them as well. Therefore, they persisted in their trot in silence, even going so far as to breathe less loudly.

Ten minutes later.

Dominic, no longer able to hold back his anger, erupted. "What the hell is this!?! There's not a single monster in sight!! How are we supposed to make a profit from this??? Someone, please bring me the fucker who killed all of our prey! I wish to see his ugly face for myself—before I kill him!!"

Just then, a volcanic eruption of energy blasted out from an area atop a large sand hill to the side, startling Dominic and the other MoonShiner members.

"You dare speak of killing Yimin's Master!?? With your measly strength!???" Yimin roared in an ear-splitting, abyssal voice. "Yimin will kill you a thousand times over!!! Yimin will use your tendons as a necklace!!!"

"Who dares—!?" Before Dominic could finish his exclamation, wind whizzed past his semi-handsome face. Reflecting from his horror-stricken irises was a razor-sharp draconic claw and an eerily beautiful woman whose expression was twisted in anger.

BOOM!!!

"Captain!!"

By the time the MoonShiner Party members finally understood what was happening, Dominic had already been launched backward like a cannonball. He crashed through dozens of sand hills at many times the speed of sound.

Blood sprayed from his nostrils as his pupils unfocused and his consciousness momentarily left him.

"…Yimin…"

A deep, husky voice cut through the silence enveloping the stunned figures of the MoonShiner Party, urging them all to shift their gazes in the voice's direction. That was when they saw a hooded man, with only the lower half of his face visible.

Unbeknownst to them all, he had somehow appeared right next to the assaulter and mere feet away from them. It was also at this moment that they received a good look at the one who had just smacked their leader to another plane of existence.

Simultaneously, the Hunters' eyes widened in utter shock.

"A dragon demihuman!? How is this possible!???" they shouted, disbelief etched across their faces. "It's said that only… Unique A-Rank monsters and above are capable of transforming into a humanoid form… Does that mean??"

"Bingo!" Yimin stuck her tongue out and flashed a goofy smile. "Yimin is a powerful dragon! But now Yimin is but a humble sex slave of her Master—"

Cassius bonked the haughty woman on the back of her head. "Do not pay her any heed. Now, tell me, what do you plan to do from here?"

While on the receiving end of a glowing, shadowy stare, the B-Rank MoonShiners instinctively shivered. That was everyone except for Stella, who was currently looking at the nonchalant hooded man with a large flux of emotions surfacing through her facade of an expression.

'He's still alive… That's good…' A surge of happiness coursed through her body. 'It would've been a shame if I never got the chance to talk to him again. But that dragon demihuman… Just what is their relationship?'

Yimin, feeling the narrowing eyes of a vixen, shot her deathly glare toward the inconspicuous Stella. "Thieving bitch!" she spat, about to lunge forward and tear out the girl's throat. However, before she made a grave mistake, rationality returned to her. 'Master said I cannot kill any hoomans… Only that way will Yimin become a fuck mate for the Master…'

Yimin, although still flaring with killing intent, clicked her tongue before returning to her Master's side and interlocking arms with him. She then lightly pulled on her right eyelid and stuck out her tongue in Stella's direction.

'Shtupid thieving bitch! Master is Yimin's!'

For some reason, Stella felt incredibly annoyed over how that powerful dragonoid woman was staring at her. It caused an unfounded competitive spirit to bubble up, nearly making her return the favor with a smug expression of her own. However, she held herself back at the last moment when Cassius's harrowing voice took front and center:

"Did you not hear me before?" he asked, his question laced with concealed killing intent. "I asked what you plan to do. Will you oppose us or will you make the wiser choice and be on your way?"

"!!!" "!!!" "!!!"

The B-Rank Hunters felt an indescribable sense of fear overpower every other emotion they were feeling. Their hearts constricted, with a suffocating air free and abound. A few of them tried to speak up despite the suffocation, yet couldn't muster a single word.

Fortunately, John, as the one with the strongest will among the normal Party members, was able to just barely find his voice. "I-I am John, a member of the B-Rank Hunter Party Moo—"

"I know who you are; tell me your answer."

"Y-Yes," replied John, beads of sweat raining down his forehead. "We will retreat—"

"YOU BASTARD!!!!!"

OOOM!

Erupting out with a level of power at the very peak of the B-Rank, Dominic's booming voice bled the ears of all those present. His rageful aura engulfed the sky as he bounced off of a sand dune and blitzed toward the aloof and curious pair.

His anger was almost entirely directed toward Yimin, as he promised himself that he would kill the bitch!!!
