Infinite Evolution: My Idle Evolution System

Chapter 347: Opening The Doors To HELL

"Hehe~"

Flora giggled from the moment she handed over the vial all the way to the point where Cassius concluded his transformation into an Incubus. He acquired an EX-Rank Incubus Noble Bloodline, all while she goofily giggled.

However, when she eventually realized where she had messed up, her eyes watered as she snapped back to reality. But upon seeing Cassius, she once again lost track of her train of thought.

Divine.

That was the only word that could appropriately describe Cassius's true appearance.

He was already beyond handsome prior to activating the Incubus Noble Bloodline, but after acquiring it, he reached an entirely new level of physical attraction. Just a single flutter of his ethereal eyelashes was enough to have Flora gasping for air, her heart beating in her chest.

"What is it?"

Blushing profusely, Flora stuttered, "I-It's nothing, Big Bro. I… I just… You look different."

Cassius appraised his new look. "I suppose so," he indifferently agreed, not caring that much about his newfound otherworldly beauty. 'I'd much rather have otherworldly strength.'

Suddenly remembering what had originally troubled her, Flora hesitantly said, "A-About our deal. You'll still join the Aluria Family, won't you—"

"I'll think about it." Cassius shrugged the question off while walking away from the dumbfounded Succubus Princess. "Until next time, little Flora."

Silence…

"Mother is going to murder me…"

Cassius went on to spend the next few days doing stuff with his family and… extended family.

He also finished up everything he had to do before Ascension, which included giving the last few S-Rank Hunters a new direction without the presence of the Gates. He reassured many concerned Hunters and civilians that he'd do what he could to bring back the husks of those who had been transported to the Dissonant's Mothership.

He didn't make any promises, for he honestly had no idea what exactly he was dealing with. But from what he did say, hope was reignited in the people.

Until it ultimately came time for departure from Earth and Humanity's 0th Floor.

"Cass… Must you really go…?"

Stella was the first to speak through teary eyes. Standing alongside her was Sasha, Aya, Viola, and the other girls. They sorrowfully watched as Cassius, Hellion, and Yimin prepared to enter through a massive skull-decorated door emitting hellish energy in the middle of Tokyo, Japan.

"It's my time to move on," said Cassius, a small smile painting his exquisite features with a warm glow. "And it's not like I'm going to be gone forever. I simply need to clear the way of all danger first."

"Promise…?"

Aya was the one to speak this time, doing so while holding Cassius's piercing gaze.

Cassius chuckled, rubbed her head, and replied, "Of course. I'll be returning no later than a year from now. Until then, stay here—safe and guarded. No harm will come to you as long as you don't leave the Isolated Solar System."

Sasha's eyelashes flickered. She grabbed Cassius's hand, placing in it a charm in the shape of a sword.

"What's this?" he asked, curiously scrutinizing the sword charm.

"It's… It's nothing much," said Sasha. "It isn't a fancy item like the ones you gave us, but I fervently believe that it'll keep you safe all the same."

'So, a good-luck charm,' Cassius thought warmly, wrapping the bluish sword charm around his neck. "I'll keep it close. Thanks, Sasha."

"Mhmm…"

"Mo—m!" Aya screamed, her cheeks puffed out. "We helped you think up the idea and make that charm as well! Why are you hogging all the credit for yourself!?"

Sasha showed a small scarlet blush, a bit ashamed of herself.

'This woman is dangerous,' Stella narrowed her eyes. 'With a body like that and a need for attention… Dangerous indeed.'

Hellion and the other girls were thinking along the same lines, all of them staring daggers into the embarrassed blonde MILF. She felt like curling up into a ball and forever hiding her face away.

Competing with young girls like this—it was silly!

'Wait, competing…??' Her eyes widened. 'What am I thinking about?? He's my stepson, nothing more, nothing less. Yes… That's our relationship.'

Noticing the turbulent emotional state of her mother, Aya's cheeks filled with even more air. She approached her and pulled her away from the immortal-like man. They then left the scene, though both of them took more than one last glance at Cassius.

"This is our cue to go," Cassius chuckled.

His soft eyes flipped between Stella, Viola, and the rest who'd be staying behind. He also saw Bella, Gina, and Leon, who were making departure preparations of their own. It was obvious that Bella wasn't planning to wait like Aya and the others.

But whatever her schemes might involve, Cassius didn't really mind. After all, whenever they met nowadays, she always brought him gifts in the form of Rank 6 Vampire Duke Blood and other such goodies.

In fact, he was more worried about the trouble she'd get into when her father realized how much she had stolen from him...

While looking around, Cassius realized that Count Sayzer wasn't present. However, assuming that he had returned to Nightingale, he set the matter aside and secretly glanced at the crazy-eyed Flora hiding among the crowd.

'That girl is not going to give up so easily, is she?' he sighed. 'Then again, it's not like she's the only crazy stalker in my life.'

He subconsciously thought of Bella, who was currently wildly flailing her arms while quietly shouting orders at her two bodyguards. An insane giggling session then followed as she groped the air, seemingly imagining any number of unspeakable things.

"Haiz…"

Finally, Cassius returned his focus to those staring him down with moist eyes. Even the usually stoic Viola felt something tugging at her heartstrings.

"Until next time."

His smile was brilliant enough to paint a blush on the faces of everyone present, effectively taking away from their original sorrow. He then went around and rubbed each of their heads before turning to face the hellish door, at which point his expression hardened.

His sudden change in demeanor did something to the fiery-haired Kaida, who was standing in the back. A spark coursed through her, turning her several shades redder.

"Going to eat more yummers, Master!?" Yimin jumped up and down as she stared down the ominous door like one big buffet. "Yummers, yummers, yummers! We're going for yummers!!"

Cassius responded with a karate chop to the head that shut her up. "You only think with your stomach."

"That isn't true, Master!" Yimin retorted defensively. "Yimin also thinks with da fists!"

"...How does that make it better…?"

Hellion, who was watching their 'intimate' interaction, revealed a friendly smile. Deep within her golden eyes, however, there lay a darkness that threatened to devour the world.

'Should I find a way to dispose of this clingy dragon later?' Her thoughts spiraled in a scary direction. 'Maybe.'

Deciding it was time, Cassius snapped away from Yimin and Hellion. He then beckoned open the Doors to HELL. A hot energy outlined the doors, radiating enough heat to melt snowfields.

After the energy completed its circuit around the doors, they opened up, releasing gusts of hellish winds that swept through the gathered crowd. This moment was also being broadcasted on live television, so people from all over the world witnessed the opening of the Gates to HELL.

It was unlike anything they had ever seen.
