SWNOVELXO Chapter 4: Encounter
As time went on and Deus slowly made his way towards Konoha he continued to train his abilities until he could activate them like second nature.
While he walked he held his palm out before him and covered it in lightning, unlike before he started condensing the lightning and coated it again. Even though it drained his mana quickly he was able to coat it three times creating a dense point of lightning that lit up the forest and caused the trees around him to shake violently and the wind to blow aggressively.
{Deus what are you trying to do?}
"Simply create the Chidori...but make it much stronger," Deus replied as he held the lightning blade in his hand
{I would suggest stopping you're running out of mana very quickly}
"I... almost... got it!" Dues replied running out of breath
[Warning host mana reserve is reaching a critical state!!!]
Once Deus saw that notification he stopped and fell to the ground devoid of energy.
"ha damn it...I almost had it," Deus sighed trying to catch his breath
Taking a few moments to catch his breath Deus looked around at the sky that was beginning to set and decided to go hunting and stop for today.
After spending ten minutes refilling his mana reserves Deus stood up and jumped to hide in a tree.
Slowly he moved from tree to tree looking for something to deal with his hunger.
{Deus go north there is a group of deer not too far from here} Pixel said
"Wait you can sense things?" Dues asked
[No and yes I can see anything within a mile radius of the host]
"I see that will come in handy," Deus replied moving north
Just like Pixel said he ran into a group of four deer in a small clearing. All of them lying down.
"Looks like I won't have to worry about food for a while," Deus grinded
Holding out his hand he created a lighting arrow and aimed at the closet's deer head. Releasing the arrow it flew through the air at incredible speeds and made a hole in the deer's head killing it.
[Lv.3 Deer Killed: +30 exp./+3 gold]
[Dragon heart: +30 exp.]
Seeing one of their own be killed instantly the other deer stood up and tried running away but another arrow already went flying hitting the slowest deer.
"Two is enough for a while and with my inventory, I don't have to worry about it going rotten," Deus said jumping down from the tree
Walking up to the deer he placed both of them in his inventory and thanks to the help of Pixel made his way to a small stream to clean the deer.
Arriving at the clearing he took one of the deer out and placed it near the water. Walking around the forest he grabbed some timber to use for a fire.
Creating a small bundle of sticks he made a small rope of lighting between his fingers and brought it near the sticks. It took some time but after a few connecting a stick was light and a small fire started.
"I was starting to think it would not work," Deus sighed stepping away from the flames.
Walking up to the deer he held it up and tied it upside down to a nearby tree with some vines.
Taking out his knife he began cleaning and butchering the deer.

"Finally done," Deus sighed sitting on a log and looking at the deer fully cleaned, gutted, and cut into dozens of pieces

Placing most of the deer in his inventory he began cooking the deer's shoulder blade. While he was cooking the deer and relaxing he received a notification from Pixel.
{Carful there is a group of three people moving towards you from the east they will be here in less than five minutes}
Hearing that Deus stood up and placed everything in his inventory. Putting out the fire he tossed all the sticks in the stream jumped in a tree and waited.
[Hsot if you are still hungry you can eat. As a dragon you can consume flesh raw}
(I'm still human at heart so I'm good and I still have the energy to fight I will be fine if it comes to it}
As he waited in the tree he soon heard the sound of people running towards him. After a few moments, the group appeared before him.
Two boys and a girl. One man with short blonde hair and blue eyes. A boy with white hair and face mask and a headband covering his eye. Lastly a girl with short brown hair and two markings on her cheeks.
(So it's them...But what are they doing here?) Dues asked himself
"Minato-sensei are you sure this was the place?" Rin asked
"I saw the smoke coming from here," Minato replied
"Minato-sensei Is right someone was here the ground here is scorched," Kakashi said touching the spot where Deus's fire was
(This is a good chance for me to introduce myself. Better than being found and seen as an enemy) Deus thought to himself
Decided Deus jumped down the tree at stood before them. Like he expected they each threw Kunis at him and Minato disappeared.
Dodging the Kuni Dues stood still he felt Minatos kuni and his neck and hand on his shoulder.
"Attack right away...I should have seen that coming," Deus sighed
"Who are you?" Minato asked
"My name is Deus I'm just a wanderer," Deus replied
"Aren't you a bit young to be wandering on your own," Kakaski said
"You seem a year years older than me so aren't you a bit you to be a ninja," Deus replied
"What are you doing here?" Minato asked
"Making my to Konoha to rest for a bit," Deus replied
"Wait did you lightning strikes near this area coming from the ground?" Rin asked
(Lightning strikes?)
{When you were hatching you released lighting which caused that damage around you}
(I see... No wonder I already ran into them)
"No I'm sorry but those were caused by me. I was training you see and seems like I drew a bit too much attention," Deus continued
(This kid caused something like that from training...how?) Minato asked himself
"Tell me who you really are I have never heard of a wander, no less a child possessing the strength to do what was reported?" Minato said pushing the blade on his neck
To Minato's surprise, he felt something as hard as steel instead of soft flesh. Looking down at Deus's neck he saw blue scales covering where the blade was.
(What is this?)
"I know you have questions and I am willing to answer them but could you not hold me a knife points you ask them," Deus said looking at Minato with his slit grey eyes.
