Chapter 207: Going out
"You want to go out?" Bibi Dong looked at Mo Luochen, now twelve years old but already carrying himself with the calm composure of a young man. Her eyes narrowed slightly. "You do realize there are people just waiting for Master Mo to leave Spirit Hall—so they can try to kidnap you."
Her tone was casual, but the possessiveness beneath it was unmistakable. It was clear she didn't want him out of her sight, not even for a moment.
"I need to temper myself through real experience," Mo Luochen replied calmly. "Only by stepping outside can I grow in all the areas I've excelled in."
Bibi Dong sighed, then gave a reluctant nod.
"Fine. But you must take Green Dragon Douluo and Blue Dragon Douluo with you. Also, Lightning Dragon and Ice Dragon Douluo. No exceptions."
Mo Luochen agreed with a respectful nod.
Green and Blue Dragon Douluo were just two among many who had been stuck at the Soul Contra level for years. But thanks to Mo Luochen's cultivation techniques and alchemical pills, their strength had surged—just like many others within Spirit Hall. In fact, even Mo Luochen had lost count of how many Titled Douluo the Hall now possessed.
Under Bibi Dong's direct command alone, he had already met more than twenty Titled Douluo—not even counting Ghost and Chrysanthemum Douluo.
Such power was becoming normal within Spirit Hall. Unlike the far future, where cultivation systems were more refined and widespread, this era still viewed the Titled Douluo realm as a peak only geniuses could reach. But now, with advancements in technique and alchemy, even the moderately talented were stepping into that once unreachable domain.
The four he was taking with him—Green Dragon, Blue Dragon, Lightning Dragon, and Ice Dragon Douluo—were all individuals who had broken through to the Titled Douluo level thanks to his cultivation techniques and resources.
"Alright, Master," he said quietly.
Bibi Dong nodded, but there was a flicker of disappointment in her eyes—an emotion she didn't quite manage to conceal.
Sensing it, Mo Luochen stepped forward and gently embraced her. His voice was soft, but full of promise.
"Don't worry, Master. I'll return stronger than ever."
His embrace was warm and sincere. Bibi Dong stood still for a moment, startled, before slowly wrapping her arms around him in return.
Her heart, once hardened by betrayal and divine schemes, had begun to soften. She had sworn never to feel again. But now, watching him grow, her long-buried emotions stirred.
These feelings... they're dangerous, she thought. But he's not like that man. He's a true genius.
And yet, deep down, what scared her most wasn't his potential—it was the fear of losing again. The fear of having her heart broken once more... by someone she had come to care for far more than she ever intended.
"Okay, Master. I'm leaving now," Mo Luochen said softly as he turned to go. Bibi Dong let out a sigh and, after a moment, gave a quiet order to Ghost Douluo.
"From now on, have the Green Dragon, Ice Dragon, Blue Dragon, and Lightning Dragon Douluo follow Mo Luochen in secret. Make sure nothing happens to him."
Meanwhile, Mo Luochen had already stepped beyond the Spirit Hall's boundaries. The corners of his lips curved into a small smile.
"Now then… where should I go first?" he murmured, before deciding, 'Lest go to Shrek Academy and torture the original seven Shrek monsters' he thought.
He also recalled another target.
'There's the Dugu Bo Garden too… I want that.'
Though he had stepped out of Spirit Hall, he didn't display any of his noble identity or his holy aura. He kept his presence restrained, appearing like a normal student—just another young soul master heading toward the Academy.
He waited quietly at a fork in the road when he noticed a girl walking ahead of him, carrying a basket on her back and a bedroll strapped behind it. She seemed like someone going out to travel.
"You're finally here," she said, turning to look at him.
She was none other than Huo Xue—also known by her other name, Felicia.
Mo Luochen looked at her, and for a moment, their eyes locked. There was something unspoken in the air between them.
Then, without warning, he leaned in and kissed her softly on the lips.
Even though she had expected boldness from him, this caught Felicia off guard. Her eyes widened, a slight blush creeping across her cheeks. And though she didn't resist, she clearly hadn't anticipated such a public gesture.
Watching from the shadows, the four dragon Douluo—Green, Blue, Lightning, and Ice—shook their heads slightly, remaining silent. But one of them chuckled under his breath.
"Damn, the Holy Son is bold," he whispered, amused.
On a different side, two more powerful auras stirred.
Twin lions—one brimming with lightning, the other glowing with holy light—stood tall. They were the Lightning Lion Douluo and the Holy Lion Douluo, both members of the ancient and noble Bright Lion clan.
They had been sent by Bright Lion Douluo himself to protect his disciple, Felicia. And now, with two Titled Douluo from her side and four from Mo Luochen's, the two of them—merely students in appearance—were traveling the world guarded by a lineup of six Titled Douluo.
Such a formation was rarely seen, not even by emperors. But this was the current strength of Spirit Hall.
After a moment, he released her. By then, her face had turned bright red. Many nearby students who witnessed the scene whispered among themselves—some girls giggled, while several boys clenched their teeth in jealousy. The beauty of Xue, now walking alongside Luochen so intimately, left many feeling frustrated.
"Let's go, or I think all these boys might riot," she said with a playful smirk, adjusting the bedroll on her back.
"By the way," he added, glancing sideways at her, "why are you carrying such a big pack? Don't you have a spatial soul guide?"
She blinked, then shrugged. "Mine is full. Besides, it helps me pass off as a poor girl—people tend to overlook someone who looks like they're struggling."
Hearing that, he snorted in amusement. With a flick of his hand, he stored her bedroll in his own spatial soul guide.
Together, they quietly left Spirit Hall with the help of a trusted elder. This elder, well-versed in spatial techniques, used his eighth spirit skill to directly open a portal far away from Spirit Hall—bypassing surveillance and checkpoints entirely. In an instant, both Felicia and Mo Luochen vanished through the portal and reappeared safely miles away from the sect's territory.
None of the spies from other sects were able to saw them leave.
