Chapter 201: Douluo Travel
Michael looked at the system notifications, a grin curling up on his lips as he read through them.
"Well then, let's travel," he muttered as he began customizing himself for the new world.
It did cost him three unique skills, but since he still possessed their ultimate forms, he didn't mind the trade.
[ Traveling...please hold your partner hand]
Michael lay on the bed, holding Felicia close as she curled up against him, completely unaware that she was about to be taken to another world.
Soon, Michael felt his soul slowly separating from his body. Felicia's soul, still linked to his, was pulled along with him. As she began to stir in their soul forms, she blinked in confusion.
"W-What is this? What's happening?!" she asked, panic creeping into her voice.
Michael held her hand, calming her as they floated through a shimmering space — their souls drifting between dimensions. Time in the Marvel world had frozen entirely, undetectable even by beings like the Beyonder or any other cosmic entity.
On the way, Michael turned to Felicia. "This is one of my abilities — a kind of travel to another world. It's usually random, and this time, it accidentally activated while we were sleeping."
"You're joking," Felicia said, still trying to process it.
Michael gave her a small smile. "What do you think?"
Seeing how calm and laid-back he was, she couldn't help but raise an eyebrow. "How many times have you done this?"
"Three times," he answered.
She tilted her head. "In those other worlds… were there any girls you got close to?"
"Only one," Michael admitted. "Her name is Camille."
Felicia narrowed her eyes" you are cheating on me, No you are cheating on Camille"
"Nope," Michael replied with a grin. "Let's just say I live a life of interesting detours. Sometimes I'm Michael, sometimes I'm Alex… once I was even Justin. Different names in different worlds."
Felicia looked at him suspiciously. "You're insane. Soul-hopping, alternate names, multiverse girlfriends?"
Michael gently held her hand tighter. "Maybe. But I always remember who I am — and I never forget who I'm with."
Felicia sighed, still trying to wrap her head around everything. "She's still alive?" she asked quietly.
Michael nodded.
"Then… you're cheating on her with me!" she accused, crossing her arms.
Michael smirked slightly. "Hmm… well, I am immortal, with a lifespan of over a million years. So… I guess I have that privilege."
Then his expression softened as he added, "Sorry. I should've told you about these things sooner, back when we started dating. But the truth is… I really like you. A lot. And I've accepted that I'll have multiple loved ones — one in each world. But here, in the Marvel world, you're the only one."
Felicia kept her arms crossed, staring at him — and then finally sighed. "I'm too astonished to even get mad at you."
Michael chuckled. "Don't worry. I'm never the irresponsible type. If you're my woman, it's until death — and even then, if you die, I'll go to hell or heaven and bring your soul back. I'll resurrect you."
Felicia blinked, then touched his cheek with a small smile. "You're romantic… and clingy."
Michael shrugged. "Maybe I am."
Suddenly, a crackling pulse of light signaled a shift in their surroundings. He looked ahead and smiled.
"Get ready — we've arrived."
A crack split open in the space-time tunnel, and the two were violently thrown out of it. As they tumbled through the veil of dimensions, they saw a vast, vibrant world stretching below — unlike anything either of them had seen before.
As their souls descended, they instinctively tried to resist, but something stronger guided them downward.
Below, they glimpsed figures practicing strange arts — magic that resembled martial arts, with energy flowing like waves as people flew, fought, and trained in the air. Felicia latched onto Michael, both in awe and uncertainty.
"Michael... where the hell are we?" she whispered.
Michael's eyes narrowed, scanning the land below.
Before he could answer, their souls were pulled toward two lifeless bodies lying in a small village on the outskirts of the forest. A boy and a girl — both no older than six — had just died, probably from the nearby fight going on between humans and beasts.
As their souls entered the bodies, a faint glow spread across the pale skin of the children. Their eyes fluttered open. Slowly, the once-lifeless children stood up, looking around and then at each other.
"We're kids now?" Felicia asked, blinking in surprise.
Michael nodded.
'Yeah… actually, it's better than being born as a baby,' he said thoughtfully, then turned to look at her.
She had a cute face, jet-black hair, and striking blue eyes — enchanting and expressive. A rare combination.
"Did you get their memories?" he asked.
She nodded. "Yes. These kids — we — were running away from an evil man who destroyed the village. The villagers called him an Evil Soul Master. The Spirit Hall is fighting against his kind."
Michael nodded in agreement, then said, "What's your name here?"
"Huo Xue," she replied.
"Mine is Mo Luochen," he said, adjusting to the new identity. "From now on, call me that. We can't risk this world figuring out who we really are."
She nodded.
"By the way," she added, "what exactly are Martial Spirits?"
Michael closed his eyes for a moment, accessing the dead boy's memories. "From what I saw, they awaken our martial spirits when we reach a certain age. That's how soul power is determined."
Felicia nodded. "I also saw something strange. When that evil guy attacked, some people fought back. The strong ones had these glowing rings floating behind them — three purple rings in one case. Others had a mix of yellow, purple, and even black rings."
Michael — or rather, Mo Luochen — narrowed his eyes. "Soul rings… those are the source of their power."
"This world is magical," Huo Xue muttered, brushing her bangs aside.
Suddenly, a voice rang out nearby.
"Deacon Ruan! There are two kids alive!"
A spirit master rushed over, followed by a large armored carriage. From it stepped a middle-aged man dressed in dark robes, wielding a flaming sword. He had a stern expression, with a golden emblem of Spirit Hall engraved on his chest.
He narrowed his eyes, sensing faint life energy from the children.
"I was certain they were dead... was I mistaken?" he murmured, stepping forward cautiously.
