A sudden turn of events unfolded.
In the blink of an eye, Bochang had completed one round of combat with his enemy.
Deafening sounds reverberated throughout the room.
Bailu, who was previously sleeping at the table, instantly jolted awake.
Reacting swiftly, Serval gripped her black guitar, ready to strike back at this unwelcome intruder.
The blonde woman appeared slightly irked.
What should have been a peaceful moment between two friends was unexpectedly disrupted by an outsider.
Serval couldn't help but feel anger rising within her.
"Not bad reflexes."
A deep male voice resonated from Blade's direction.
Bochang's Vow Spear clashed repeatedly with the ancient-looking longsword in mid-air.
Gusts swept through the area, leaving chaos and destruction in their wake.
Most notably around Bochang, wooden chairs splintered, tables overturned, and cracks radiated outward from beneath him, spreading across the floor.
In the next instant:
"Crack..."
The ancient sword emitted sounds of strain, with nearly imperceptible cracks appearing on its surface.
As the weapon's owner, Blade was acutely aware of what was happening to his sword.
"How is this possible...? His spear is incredibly sharp!"
At that moment...
Serval plucked her strings, and Bailu uncorked her gourd, unleashing a torrent of lightning and water towards Blade simultaneously. Both women attacked with fury.
With a glance, Blade retreated swiftly, as the Invisible Hand entangling him was torn apart by their combined force. The black-haired, red-eyed man skillfully evaded the onslaught.
The lightning and water struck empty air, leaving behind only scorched and cracked ground—a futile aftermath.
The immense noise startled nearby civilians, who peeked briefly before instinctively distancing themselves from the battle zone. This was fortunate; only after these bystanders left could Bochang unleash his full power without reservation.
With innocent people around, he had been forced to seal away his most potent Dragon Talisman. Now, Bochang felt a slight tingling in his hands.
Blade's strength was immense, extraordinarily so. Despite having enhanced his own power once more, Bochang felt a significant gap still existed between them.
"Stellaron Hunter, Blade?" Bochang glared intensely at his opponent.
Dressed in a black windbreaker, Blade stood casually, raising his ancient sword. With his bandaged hand forming a sword gesture, he gently swept it across the blade, causing its black-red surface to flash with a golden glow.
A surge of formidable energy erupted from the sword.
Seeing this, Bochang simultaneously activated the magic powers of the Sheep and Monkey Talismans, along with the Invisible Hand.
Blade seemed well-aware of Bochang's abilities.
He had already erected an invisible wall of wind around himself. The Invisible Hand was blocked before it could even approach, failing to achieve even a momentary delay this time.
The Sheep Talisman's mental attack also proved ineffective.
Blade's prowess was simply too overwhelming.
It appeared that only direct physical contact with Bochang's fists would allow the Sheep Talisman's effects to manifest, much like how he had brutally defeated Cocolia earlier.
The Monkey Talisman's magic, similar to the Invisible Hand, was also repelled by the wind barrier and even deflected elsewhere... transforming a small insect into a sparrow.
Blade's lips curled into a grin. "Listen up, you... can't you stop causing me trouble? If it's your time to die, then just accept it."
"How did Blade appear here? Wasn't he captured by the Cloud Knights?" Serval questioned, deeply puzzled.
On this matter, Bochang wasn't sure either, but considering they were dealing with Stellaron Hunters, escaping from custody wouldn't be surprising.
Bailu's eyes filled with urgency; she could sense the enemy's immense strength, enough to make anyone want to flee immediately. Normally, Bailu would have definitely run away, but now with Bochang present, despite her trembling short legs, she stood firm.
The young dragon girl feigned composure and declared, "Causing trouble in Xianzhou? Clearly, you've grown tired of living."
"I indeed am quite tired of living..." With that, Blade launched another attack without giving them any chance to catch their breath.
In an instant...
The blade reached Bochang before either Bailu or Serval could react.
A golden glow emanated from the sword as it arced upward with a diagonal strike.
"So fast! Even quicker than before!"
Bochang activated the first rated power of the Dragon Talisman.
With a series of explosive crackles echoing around him, Bochang's entire body ignited.
Knowing that the magic power from the Dragon Talisman is highly unstable once outside his body, he refrained from infusing it directly into the Vow Spear. Instead, he harnessed the strength of his Destruction fate path, channeling all the flames into the blue spear.
Now, not only was Bochang engulfed in flames, but the long spear also blazed alongside him.
The three-star Destruction Light Cone, Tianqing, came to life.
A surge of newfound power erupted within him.
"I can see it now!"
With various buffs enhancing him, Bochang finally managed to track Blade's movements. With all his might, he swung the Vow Spear, blocking the incoming strike.
"Clang!"
As their weapons collided...
A burst of white energy radiated outward, forcing both Serval and Bailu to involuntarily retreat several steps.
Under this immense force, Bochang was compelled backward, his feet leaving deep grooves in the ground as he skidded several meters before stopping just short of colliding with Serval.
Along the way, Bochang knocked over numerous chairs and umbrellas, causing chaos within the teahouse.
Though disheveled,
...at least he managed to block the attack.
"Not enough...still not enough. Are there any items that could help me? Cheetah Serum...and Jym Rogers Bread Soda, Holy Shield..."
Gasping for breath, Bochang momentarily paused.
Meanwhile, Serval and Bailu launched another assault.
Purple lightning descended from the sky, creating a rapid barrage zone spreading swiftly forward.
Bailu's controlled waterflow immediately trapped Blade within the area of thunderous bombardment, cutting off any escape route.
Their coordination seemed effective, possibly due to their recent teamwork.
However...
With a mere wave of the ancient longsword, a fierce whirlwind resembling a tornado instantly dispersed both the water and lightning.
It had no effect on Blade whatsoever.
"What?"
Bailu and Serval were astonished.
Taking advantage of the time they bought, Bochang swiftly consumed a bottle of Jym Rogers Bread Soda along with Cheetah Reagent.
His depleted stamina rapidly replenished, and he felt his body instantly become lighter and more agile.
"You two, if you don't want to die, get lost. My target is only him..." Blade raised the ancient longsword, pointing directly at Bochang.
Following Elio's orders, Blade's objective was to capture Bochang, but his window of opportunity was limited. If he couldn't secure Bochang within five minutes, he would have no choice but to withdraw. Otherwise, once Xianzhou reacted, it would spell trouble for Blade.
Only about ten seconds had passed so far, leaving ample time remaining.
After briefly engaging them, Blade quickly assessed the situation. Without any unforeseen complications, he estimated that within two minutes, he could successfully apprehend Bochang. Even with interference from Serval and Bailu, it wouldn't take more than three minutes.
However...
The faster he could accomplish this, the better. Thus, Blade aimed to drive away Serval and Bailu. Unfortunately, they showed no signs of leaving.
As Blade spoke, Serval seized the opportunity and swung his black guitar towards him. Meanwhile, Bailu continuously shook her gourd, seemingly preparing a powerful ultimate ability, ready to surprise everyone momentarily.
